I voted for #1 becoz I agree with Muski, and parts of what somebody else said about the jacket, the jeans, the pose, (the thumb ring). I really liked the hairstyle altho' they could have trimmed off the ducktail spikes in my opinion. I try to choose as if taking only one to be shipwrecked on a desert island or to put up at work. #1 blows me away, while #2 looks as if Clay was um, blown away. Which is um, hawt too but which pic do I want peeps to see me drooling over at work?

OH THE AGONY!!! How to choose!! Between Beatle mopped MAN Clay, who appears about to get out of his car and kiss me senseless, and joyful tha-RILLED "Wow Ah've RILLY made it" SNL Clay. I may have to toss a coin to see which would be my "take to a desert island" pic. Goin' back for another look first.

If I could put up only one pic at my work station, (other than my kids and grandkids) it would be #1 rather than #2. I also am voting for the pic rather than the moment, and what a YUMMMMY pic it is. One of my "jealous of the mike" pix.

I went for #1 coz if I had to take only ONE pic to be stranded on a desert island with, that would be it for me out of these 2. Lemme add "Me too" to what DesertRose said. Um, provided that the cover photo of LTS wasn't available (which Clay said is his fave pic of himself evah). Or that the AI2 tour pic in Connecticut all-in-white wasn't. Oh hell. Which is where I'm headed anyway!

Ohh man, #2 all the way for me despite Clay's endearing yammy face in MOAM!! The hair, which IS shiny, the eyelashes, the cheek, perfect nose (WHAT fricken nose hairs?) and of course, the lips ... gaaahhhh :Thud: :Thud: :Thud:

I'll give a big to what Cindilu and Cotton said about pic #1. No surprise that the votes are so close coz there's plenty to love about both. He was such a dollboy in the Invis video shoot, and yeah, the way he brought Sherry up on stage was so endearing. Those gorgeous greens knock me out every time.

Oboy, definitely #2 for me!! Everything about that Kimmel appearance was Yum City!! I remember Clay's astonished look at that clip of the girl who'd got him to autograph her upper back getting it tattooed on !! And then he showed Jimmy his "tattoo" where they'd airbrushed JK's face on Clay's leg after he shaved the leg hair so it would airbrush OK. It was too sad that the live show cut off before those of us at home could get to hear much.

#2 for me too, coz of the gorgeous, laughing smile and the hair and the suit. Absolutely could have this ONE pic where I could see it every day, and guarantee it would make me smile. I'm still enjoying moving my mouse over the banner so I can see "Holy Crap!"

That is so cool, Merrieee!! I did that while I was still in college -- of course it was a Chevette and actual POS, but I was proud of the lil monster LOL Hey, has anybody else but me noticed this? If you hover your mouse over Clay's face on the banner and sidebar, you see "Holy Crap" ??? I love it!

Easy for me -- #1 would be the Man walking into my arms. Of course I fLoved the RS cover and article, but at Tall, Blond and Handsome walking along.

Aw MANNN!!! I voted for #1 just for the sheer impact of it -- then after I'd voted, when the page clicked back in, they were upsized and then I wished so bad that I'd gone for #2 !!! Can I have a Mulligan, please???

WHOOOO Mama!! I'll take that eyef*ck altho' he's gorgeous in the other one, too!! I was at the Houston concert and thoroughly enjoyed it. After one of the songs, I leaped to my feet coz I thought there'd surely be a standing O for that one (Treenuts, I know you'll pounce on this). Hardly anybody else stood up, and Clay goes, "Well, THAT lady liked it." Me! He saw me!! What was sooper-neato was that I went to the Tulsa show the next night, and at the after-concert party where we took over the hotel lounge, someone *already* had a DVD of the Houston show, so they played it on the big screen TV. We got to see it all over again.

No prob choosing for me! #1 fo' sho'!! Clay looks soooo good with that calm, confident smile, being comfortable with who he is, and where he is. No more hiding, no more fear, no more panic attacks. #2 pic has him all washed out and ghostly looking, altho' I loved the Joyful Noise tours.

Nose hair??? I mean, seriously, NOSE HAIR ???? WHAT fricken nose hair??!! I'm afraid I was too busy lovin' on those eyelashes, hair, yummy mouth, the deliciously on-purpose stubble, to spend any time critiquing his nose. #1 all the way for me, and I wish I knew if that was taken at Merrillville since I was there and got a handshake at the bus line. In #2 pic, I thought it looked as if Clay was pissed at the photographer.

#1 fo' sho' in my book!! Altho' the image of mouth open and tongue showing was waaay tempting.

AAUUGGHH!! Tough one, but I went for #2. The beard, the lower lip still looking sooo kissable ...

Woh. Eeny meeny miney moe ... if his left knee hadn't been in the way (Snort!) I'd have gone with #2 but the closeup of the stubble is irresistable. Plus the turtleneck collar needs a bit of adjusting, and I could imagine saying, "Let me fix that for you" and getting to touch that bristly jaw ...

I see it's being outvoted, but I went for #2 coz I loved Clay at the stage door pix, and his eyes show up sooo much better in that pic. Am I the only one to notice that the #2 pic has DEC 09 ?? wazzup with that??

LOVE the smile in #1 -- went GAAAHHH and for #2 !!! If I had to choose between those 2 for one to look at every day, the drop-dead-dreamy look in #2 would be mine.

Loved #2 pic but voted for that LOOK in #1!! Wooahh. I believe Clay said the cover photo on LTS was his favorite, but I don't have that one to post, dangit. It was in my old computer that got fried in '05. Somebody else that has it PLEEZ post.
