I did it! I booked my trip. I have wanted to go back to Istanbul for almost 50 years and I'm finally going. I have a 24 hour layover there and I am beyond excited. It was too good an opportunity to pass up. I just figured out we will be going to 10 countries on our 3 week trip. Since I'm planning on retiring next year it's going to be my last big hurrah! oh and yeah I have to plan a quick trip to see you know who before that.

I think I'm crazy! I'm planning my cruise vacation to Russia, this summer and I found flights to London via Istanbul with frequent flyer miles for $300 round trip for both of us. I'm seriously thinking of doing a day layover. My daughter is saying yes but I'm hesitant. I wonder if clay ever went to Russia?

Really good show his week. One on one. Clay was sick it made him kind of feisty.

Well I'm back. I really didn't miss the internet at all and didn't have one phone call so all was good. We had a great time and have put a deposit down on another cruise for the summer. They had a really good deal on a trip to the Baltic counties. All my life I've wanted to go to St Petersburg and I'm finally going. Did I miss much?

I've been up since 4 so you think I'd have time to watch the videos but no. Last week some kittens showed up in my garage. Well we got them out and they are now living on my back porch. I don't want to keep them but I'm leaving today for a cruise so I didn't have time to deal with it. So I made them a bed of a box covered in plastic and lined with blankets and a down comforter! Last night I was so worried about them I couldn't sleep. It got down to 32 last night. I've arranged for someone to feed them and when I get back I'll sort it out. As I said I'm off today and won't be back until next Monday. We have chosen to have no phones or internet so I'll be totally out of it. I'm not sure that's a good idea but I guess we will find out. Have a Merrie Christmas everyone and be good.
