Ninna, I couldn't find a reason in the settings why you shouldn't be able to edit your post. That's got to be frustrating for you. Maybe it's just too late for my brain to work.

Ah, that explains it, Fear, but it doesn't help. We have the same edition now as CV. One would think IE 11 would be advanced enough. I hope there's an upgrade with the board or IE that will fix it.

It's gotten to the point now where browsers just can't work with everything anymore, new or old. I've been using Firefox for everything for a couple of years, but it's starting not to work with certain things. And there was a while there--a year probably, that I couldn't open a pdf from IE, Chrome, or Firefox. I had to right click and save as as if it were clack.  ARGH. 

All the credit goes to ldyj, and to kimiye for moral support and more, and to Invision, which had the whole process automated. All we had to do was stay out of the way and pray.  I just play with colors--no structural stuff or anything fancy.

Ldyj, I think I saw that Third Rail. It sounds familiar. Will have to find it and watch. A lot of clack appeared at once, finally--lots of catching up to do.

Fear, that isn't being picky.  It's basic.  Unfortunately, I can't find a reason for it.  Is it just the most recent last page or any last page?  What version of IE are you using?  Thanks.

Oops that was an accident. But I think I'll keep it. Heh. I realized that something I chose made the bottom part of the posting box, where it says "Drag files here to attach...," unreadable. Could not find a way to change the font, but while I was at it, accidentally changed a couple of other things. So I am happy you like the purple, merrieeee. The rockers didn't quite do themselves justice, although with this format instead of fronting a band, one lead, it would be hard to pull off.  Bo was my favorite his season. Daughtery is really a good guy, but he came off as a jerk on the show.

I looked into it, and not sure if I found anything or not, but I pushed some buttons around. Bottom line, go to your settings on the board, click on notifications, and scroll down to general. There's an option there that you be notified when someone likes what you post, so make sure it is checked. As to whether that will tell you who "liked it," I'm not sure. If some folks will "like" this post, I'll see what happens and what I learn from that.

PS - I checked and no one who isn't logged in is able to "like" a post.

I could not resist digging into the depths again to find a solution to the bright white.  Is this dim enough or should I go a shade darker?

Fear, I wouldn't mind dimming it a little more myself, but the white (ish?) background is the one thing that seems impervious to change.  I even dug into the back of the back looking.  Boards often have an alternating pattern of post background colors as well, don't they?

A quick look through the available board skins was pretty meh, and most aren't free anymore, or could be loaded with malware.  But, this new IPS version has a place on the admin side where you can change colors without changing skins.  Every element of this board has its own color setting, and there are dozens--the hardest part is figuring out which is which as the nomenclatures are not particularly useful.  It's pretty irresistible to play with but I promise we won't always be quite this extreme......although I haven't tried any shades of purple yet.........
