I love pissy Clay.
If the PTB were to go after all the people who DON'T bother to change their registration when they move, they'd be busy night and day. I've been guilty of that myself.
As for the comments on the news--I WISH that fans would just stop posting as it just fuels the notion that we are all nuts and encourages JP and other looneys.
Sigh.
LOVE Rubin's comments about PH. Made my day.

I liked AL when he was on AI and fully expected to buy his CD, but I just don't like the songs I've heard so far, so I'm saving my money for Clay.
While I agreed with AL that there shouldn't be a double standard as far as what is acceptable for heterosexuals and gay on TV, I'm not sure that using vulgarity as a test is where I'd be putting my energy if I were gay--I think I'd focus on marriage, the military, hate crimes, etc. HIs push for equality just didn't impress me enough for me to run out and buy his album to show solidarity.
Just me.

I'm sorry. It's awfully hard to lose a mother. My thoughts are with you.

Ah, a little taste of Clay!
Looking good.

I'm curious... I'm assuming that it's hard for gay men to adopt but what about surrogate moms? I'd think that there would be lots of those women out there who would take $10,000 (or whatever the amount might be) from a gay man/couple or a single mom just as they would from a 'traditional' couple.
Yes? No?
Obviously, Rosie was able adopt 4 kids. Was that just because she had MONEY?
Not all adoption agencies allow gays to adopt, and they may face tougher restrictions in who they can adopt. The $10,000 is just the fee to the mother, but the costs over and above that can exceed $100,000 for surrogacy.

FCA: Worth every penny.

Wow, I wish I could go to GFI but I don't think it's in the cards. Look forward to the clack, though!
It would be nice to have something official from Clay or Decca in regards to a possible release date for the new album. However maybe it's too early to determine yet.
Somehow I managed to get 2nd degree burns to the fingers of my left hand on the weekend, while frying up some bacon. You know how the grease spits? It really had good aim this time around. I have a whopping sized blister on my 4th finger and it's not bursting. Ewwww. I guess it'll be ewwwwwier when it does.
Poor thing. I had 2nd degree burns on both hands a couple of years ago. Take dope. Trust me. They take about 2 weeks to heal over.

Luckiest Great recap! Wish I had been there with you.

I don't always like Clay's hair (but mine looks like shit most of the time).
I don't always like his clothes (but I wear sweat pants and t-shirts so who am I to complain?).
I don't always like his song choices (but there is no song God decreeing my personal choices better than Clay's).
I don't ever feel the need to dump all over Clay for any of these totally inconsequential things.
If only some of these raging bitches felt the same.

Fans always create their own hype and blame Clay when it doesn't meet their expectations.
I don't know how many other ways he can state that he prefers singing classic songs, but I know that I had to giggle the morning after the gala when I thought about him auctioning off BFM and performing My Eyes Adored You and Moon River. Also, he has mentioned that EIDN is not something he enjoys performing (although I certainly enjoyed his performance of it last year!) and he stated that ALAWH was his favourite from OMWH. I guess I am just lucky in that I really enjoy most of the songs and genres Clay seems to enjoy. If I didn't, I don't think I'd still be here. I have no idea why some people don't just move on and find another singer who performs songs more to their liking, instead of criticizing Clay for his choices.
I caught something nasty on the way home from Raleigh, and had to call in sick to work this morning. I am having chills and fever, and am coughing up a lung. Argh.
Sorry you're not feeling well--may byou have H1N1. Stay warm. Stay home. Drink fluids.

My friend saw Clay up close and personal and said his face looked beautiful and skin was like porcelain.

I do wish people who only live to criticize would fall in love with Adam or someone else, though!
They would do the same thing to Adam--criticizing is their claim to fame and they're not about to give it up out of some little thing like compassion for a man who just lost his beloved grandfather.
Shitheads.
-
I think a lot of the people bitching weren't actually present at the Gala.
Not sure why Clay's voice should always be perfect--no one else's is--and at least he's not lip-synching.
-
OMG, I'm so happy to see that wonderful face.
Even the hair. LOL
-
God, this is so exciting!!!!
So happy about Cookie win--I'd fly in to give the award too. You'd better believe it.
-
I thought Clay's hair looked cute--I like it feathered across the forehead.
But, what do I know. LOL.
-
Waiting eagerly for the reports from our ambassadors to the Gala. Have a wonderful time!

Desertrose, my mom died of Alzheimer's 2 years ago, so I know how hard it is to care for someone with Alzheimer's. My thoughts are with you.
Hugs.

I seriously have a thing for that green sweater.

Hmmm... Clay's still sitting on those rocks, and
I'mhe's still pissed about being eliminated from the photo tournament.I feel your pain. I love to think of Clay sitting on his rocks.
