I had a great time at the Gala. Saw some familiar faces and got to meet Ldyjocelyn and Couch Tomato. It was good to see all you. Kandre was sitting in the front row of the Mezzanine right next to me. A pleasant surprise.

I know that we have lots of emoticons. I cannot find out how to use them. Before it was easy. Where are they? How do I add them to my posts? I only see the smiley one.

I am packing right now. I have to get up at 3AM tomorrow to head for DC. Flight leaves at 7AM. I am so not a morning person. See you all there!!!!!!

Penn is a big wind bag. What a phoney! I am glad that Clay is not going to be on this one. I will never watch this show again, and until now I have watched every episode. Never again. OK, qualifying that I will watch if Clay is on again, but seriously doubt that will happen.

Can't wait for the Gala. See everyone there. Where are you all staying? And when do you get there? Clayann and I get there on Wednesday. We got the NIP rate at the Marriott for Thursday through Sunday.

ldyjocelyn That is so sad. I can't even begin to imagine something so tragic happening to a young couple. I am so sorry.

So if anyone hears about an extra gala ticket floating around, let me know. Is that group still around that helps people out who want to go. I know someone who would like to go, can pay for one ticket but not 2.

I'm having fun planning my vacation.

There have been a couple of posts at CV from people that bought tickets, but now find that they cannot go. These tickets are offered to those that want to go, but couldn't afford ticket. If I see another offer, I will PM you, but you have to act fast because they get taken pretty fast. Someone even gave away 2 free tickets. Somebody that had gotten 2 free tickets, found out that she could not go, so she gave those free tickets to another fan.

They post these on Clay Matter's main thread, so if you belong to CV, try reading it every day for a free ticket. There is also a Gala ticket thread.

I know for many this is frustrating the hell out of them, and I totally understand that, because I sure would like to know if I should plan on a concert or not. But at the same time -- I don't follow the conversations between Clay and his followers all that much, so I'm guessing he's had a few too many people "tell" him what to do, and so he tweets this. I have to admit I chuckled at this tweet.

I did not see any tweets telling Clay what to do. Most tweets were asking him what he wanted his fans to do to help so they could do it. A lot of the tweets told him of the venues that fans had already contacted. All of the tweets I saw were wanting to help him but they did not know what to make of the line up of states that he posted. It was not clear, very confusing as to what he meant. Lots of guessing going on as to what he wanted fans to do.

My guess is that he wanted us to do something, but did not feel comfortable putting it out there for non fans or haters to see, so he was somehow hinting what he wanted, but his message was not getting through to us, and he got frustrated. If it was contacting venues and requesting his tour, fans tweeted him that they would do that.

Clayann and Desertrose plan to attend dinner. Might have two more people.

A friend of mine emailed the Dallas Symphony today, so I'm hoping for good news to come back. She later added she should email the Houston Symphony too since they already have worked with him. I'm hoping if she does, that at least one of them books Clay!! I could probably do either city.

I really hope that he comes to either Houston or Dallas. I do not have much hope for Houston because Jone's Hall, where the Houston Symphony, resides is booked most of December with the Nutcracker. But I can make it to Dallas.

Couchie, ldyj, lilyshine, and I are in Row B Mezz. 101 -104. Kimiye and playbiller are also on row A Mezz. according to other boards. And merrieeee!

Yes, it is! But I am still shaky from the ticket tango! Really happy to be able to see so many folks after way too long!

Yes, just as bad IMO. Had no luck online, called and got somebody that I could not understand, got transfered to someone else, got cut off and had to call back. I was starting to panic!!!! Finally I did get seat in the mezzanine that I am very happy with, Row A seat 109.

Anybody here sitting close by? Are Houston peeps going? Would love to see you all there like last year.

I am attending the Gala. I am flying out of DFW. I am interested in hearing about anyone flying out of Reagan/National on American to Washington DC. I'd like to know which day you're leaving and the time. I am rooming with a lady from Houston.

Well you can blame several here for my addiction to BBT. I tape 2 episodes on channel 2. I watch the regular weekly episode on channel five. And TBS now airs 2 episodes a night as well. And they are having a New Years Eve marathon LOL. I think I've almost caught them all already. Finally saw the pilot episode tonight. It's funny but I thought Sheldon was portrayed slightly different in the pilot. New favorite episode is The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis. AND the NBA is back. I was mad at them but my Warriors are winning. I'm easy that way.

To me it's like the quiet before the storm. It will be interesting to see Clay on TV every week..or does this come on twice a week like so many of these reality shows.

What's everyone doing for New Years. Went shopping tonight for everything I need to make gumbo and Louisiana bbq shrimp for new years day. I do nothing on New Years eve. Well ha ha guess I'll be watching the BBT marathon.

Glad that you are enjoying BBT. Now, I am trying to remember the pilot episode. Maybe I will find it online. This is the kind of show that is funny even if one is re-watching it.

Hey KAndre, That was a great recap! Glad that I ran into you and Merieeee at the theater. Wish that I could have spent more time with the Houston peeps, and had a drink with you guys at least!

Did you all really miss the luncheon at the Marriott? It was pretty early at 12 noon, which is really early for me to eat. Food was surprisingly good though. This was included in the poor people's $250 ticket.

I was also up in the balcony, but I did not see you guys. We had tickets in the second row, because we got them as soon as they went on sale.

I can tell you all that great sex was had by many women that night.
