Well after 2 weeks of my daughter going upstairs when she gets home and not coming back down till she leaves for work we finally had a couple of meals together! Well guess what? They think another kid in her class has COVID. Back to isolating!

My dad served in WW2 and the Korean War. My husband was in the Air Force and was in Vietnam. Funny thing I have photos of him there, talked personally to people that knew him there and he has the Vietnam Medal on his uniform (which I still have) and yet when I contacted the powers that be, regarding Agent Orange, they have no record of him being there. I know what he did was very hush hush and for many years he was forbidden to talk about it but you think there’d be something official. But no.

So today I ventured out. I had a drs appt., about 35 miles away, that had to be in person. Everything is fine but the stupid insurance peeps wanted it. Really good all wearing masks and distancing. On to my favourite Chinese. restaurant which is 40 minutes from where I live now. Feeling brave I stopped at the 99cent store. Well that lasted less than 5 minutes. Too crowded and people wearing masks below their noses. Got to the first aisle and decided not worth the risk. I left drove home, jumped in the shower and now I have yummy food. I did have a little bit of a breakdown, when I got home, knowing I was too afraid to buy a stupid can of peas!

Years and years ago my husband blamed me for the Cleveland Browns fumbling really badly and losing a very important game. He said I was a jinx and was banned from watching because they always lost when I did. (They always lost anyway but I didn’t mention that). So today I am also not watching the tv in case the jinx works on other things! Hmm I did watch all events where Clay came in 2nd!

My daughter’s watching the briefing. I asked for a synopsis since I’m not watching. Her response “he’s still an idiot”.
