Well maybe not.....

Shh! I think everyone is sleeping!

Just 20 minutes east of me!

Well it’s a little bit wet out there!

We had a lot of rain but only a few streets flooded in my area. I’ll have go and see how my new house faired! A tornado touched down about 10 miles from me! So far it’s looking like we might be lucky but there’s tomorrow.... i just checked the local news online and the tornado touched down about a mile from my new house! Yikes!

Well here in Southeast Texas it is raining. For me it’s not too bad and it appears we won’t get much flooding if it doesn’t worsen overnight. Further west it’s worse and fingers are crossed. Since Harvey everyone gets a little nervous.

Some guy came with his wife and he’d not seen the series. So before he sat down he asked everyone in the theater if we minded if he asked a lot of questions during the movie! After the jovial booing his wife said he’s just kidding!

Well if your a Downton Abbey fan I recommend the movie. It’s like seeing old friends and you just pick up where you left off!

Good thoughts for anyone in Dorian’s path!

My daughter is coming over. She lives in an apartment that is about 200 yards from mine and I see her less than when I lived 30 miles away! Beginning of the school year is so hard for her. Teaching seniors come with a lot more stuff than just classroom work. They’ve already asked her when prom is scheduled! Since we can’t grill I’m having roast leg of lamb, mint sauce, Brussels sprouts and English roasted potatoes.

Ok where is he? Inquiring minds want to know!

I thought it was very thought provoking. I could see both sides and neither were hundred percent right. My fil was in the mines in PA so was very union! My husband worked for a company that had a union vote. It became vicious. The union wanted to cut his wage by half and take away two years of the apprenticeship he’d worked already so he was against it. He ended up being beaten and lost a lot of the eyesight in his right eye. He never went back and joined the Air Force the next day. Which turned out for the best because I never would have met him!
