OMG, he's hilarious. And he so knows his fans. Yep we will dissect every word. Carol -- I'm already trying to figure out how I can do some traveling for JNT since I'll be on a cruise the last week of October (yay for me great planning!) I can't forsee getting any more time off from work. Hopefully there are some convenient weekend dates --- long holidays etc. Can you imagining having to cancel a cruise cuz Clay was coming to town? Thankfully I don't have to figure out who would win. I think my family would most assuredly plan an intervention if I backed out of a cruise.

Clay is coming to Oakland's Paramount Theater Nov 8th. I will be useless pretty much the rest of the day.

Well the funny part is that at my last job I was totally out. Everybody watched me go slowly insane LOL. I remember my Xmas party was the same night as ACAC and I chose the Xmas party but was not happy. We always do haiku and I wrote a clay one about how I at the party instead of home watching Clay..and won the grand prize. This new job though...with one foot already out the door.. they didn't need to know my biz. Oh well, heeee. Now, what kind of dress should I get for the Emmys. It was hard enough following orders and wearing one for JNT last year.

OK I am totally freakin' out at work. I took my computer in today so that the IT guys could install a new internal 250 gb hard drive... this after noon I go to the front -- because they sit right by the front door where people are walking in and out all day .. .and what do I see... my computer hooked up... and Clay's beautiful face staring at me from my wallpaper.

LdyJocelyn would definitely like one of the hoochie variety...ducks and runs. at least that would be understandable... I threw mine out once just taking pan out of the oven.

I love Clay's sense of humor. I actually think that's what reeled me in. When I went back and read my comments during American Idol on TWoP (when I was actually Couchtomato and who can remember my 3 subsequent names LOL) I liked him from the very start. But I loved K-Lo too. And I can't seem to tell who I loved more. When the fans deserted CLay's performer thread for the IE gushy thread, I didn't initially go. I'd check in now and them but those women were crazy and I didn't have time for that. So I stayed in performer thread until Clay lost and then I needed to go where the info was. Seeing him on TV and in those radio interviews before and during the tour - is what hooked me. He was so funny. I never "got that" while watching Idol. To learn he was so funny and sarcastic and devilish was an eye opener to me and made him fascinating to follow. Do i love his voice...absolutely. Listening to him sing really does something for me. I never get tired of his voice. And I would have been a fan forever - but just the normal kind -- without the fascinating personality. I was happy that this tour the fans seem more accepting of his snark because I don't ever want him to change or hide away that part of himself. ETA: And I actually don't think he ever will because he realizes that no matter what he says some people will not be happy. I LOVED hearing him say that.

et tu Skatejoy? You joining in on the guess the alcohol story? Great pictures... so I feel I did the right thing in not sitting in front of you in Boston!! You would have had a lot of fun shooting around me!! Bottlecap! Lots of Bwahs for your continued story... but when Ansa and I take over Clay's media empire, do we get paid or do we continue to be poor but happy and whipped fans? I'm still tickled at how I raised my hands to the rafters and left them there in AC while Clay toyed with me. Scared to ask where you had your troll adventure.

Buzztechie..if Clay ever decided to give up the pop star life he could make a very nice career for himself as a romance novel cover boy --- see Bendy Angela photo. And yes..would love mp3s of Boston. I'll be adding lots of audio this weekend to FCA. Bottlecap: with benefits huh? From now on I will consider CF to be me. heee I've been thinking about this tv show rumour -- which I don't think will be happening any time soon, if ever ... and I can't help it... I'd love to see what he'd come up with. Daytime TV needs a change of pace...hopefully something unique is being considered. And that's all the space I'll give that particular rumour. Clay's going to be on the CNN Hurricane Relief special tonight in some capacity. It comes on at 8 PM ET, 5 PM PT. They just said a bunch of names of those that would be on and they did say Clay Aiken.

Just a quick note to say last night's concert was my favorite Clay concert ever... his voice was awesome as always but his personality was really on display. One more concert tonight... and then it will be over. I'm not really sad about it...it was such a wonderful gift. I do hope he does this kind of show again....there are SO many songs to choose from and he could conceivably do a completely different show next time around...but first, the album and a tour in support of that. I love love love Tears Run Dry and Back for More so I truly hope these songs make the album. I also love 1000 days...lyrics smyrics! heee

Hey ya'll eeeeeeeeeeeeeee have to make this short and sweet (for me) since I have to run and get ready for Vermont. So is there anybody left that hasn't heard the meet and greet story? First of all, you don't have to PM with questions like what was he wearing? What did he smell like? Did he have stubble? WAS HE WEARING GLASSES? Becuase for the life of me I couldn't tell you. I had to look at the picture later to find out he was wearing glasses...cuz I swear I saw the beautiful green eyes, not the glasses. Auntdementia of the CH and I both had m&gs and we held each other up...trying to help each other keep expectations VERY LOW. I was going to he happy with my hihowareya. Ya'll know the process. Mary came and got us. Mini Jerome, who I found perfectly cordial, gave us the "rules." I didn't hear the no touching no hugging rules. He might have said no chit chat or keep chit chat to a minimum... I don't know. But it was 7:00 before Clay came out and the concert was at 8. I was about the fifth person in line and there were at least 15-20 people behind me...so when I saw them counting I go...ok it's gonna be 10 seconds each! Clay came out and I only noticed how beautiful he looked...no other details. It's weird, cuz I can remember everything he said to me..word for word. I came very prepared for my m&g. NO CAMERA. Well I had a camera but forgot to pick up film. So Huskerfalcon entrusted me with her beautiful camera (which BTW she got some KICK ASS pictures from first row in Boston). She showed me how to turn it on and off but that was extent of my knowledge. So when it's almost my turn I ask Nick if he knows how to use this camera and he said turn it on and he'll figure it out. SO my turn, I pull out Learning to Sing that I'm going to have him sign. I give it to Mary and somebody asks how I want it signed. Clay may have been looking down at this point... So I say "Couchtomato." That got him heee. He looked up at me and said "Couchtomato? You really want me to sign this Couchtomato?" And he laughed and I said yes Clay. So he starts to sign my book ... and as he is signing I say to him, Clay, I want you to have this pin from my website Finding Clay Aiken. And he said, Finding Clay Aiken? Finding Clay aiken is your website? I said yes. OK I'll do it like this... Clay: Have you met Quianna? Me: No, I've never met Quianna? Clay: She loves that website. Me (eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee) ok not aloud. Me: Oh tell her we're going to update the band pages soon, you've kept us busy. Clay finishes singing my book...Couch Tomato...use your voice... Clay fricking Aiken...ok not the frickin' part. And I take my dorky picture... well I look dorky..he's cute and smiling. Will have to post it later. So I'm ready to float on out of there becaue really that was so much more than I expected already. And he says to me, By the way, what's your "real" name. And I tell him -- the California Clangela... oops..no I just said Angela. And he said, Angela, well it was nice to meet ya. And I said nice to meet you Clay and that's when I floated out and retold the story in giggly fashion until I couldn't talk anymore. Now, I'm trying to figure out which was better, the meet and greet or my first and probably only first row in Boston. This trip has been a blast and it's only half over. Better run, another concert in an hour and a half. I love this tour. I am blown away. Fuck the reviewers!! Excuse the mess of this..I only had a few minutes to type up.
