It feels good to be able to drop by at a decent hour. :snoopy:

Wednesday is my "mini-weekend" in between teaching days, so this afternoon I posted a new Carolina On My Mind blog about the fact that Clay's PBS special is finally coming home to NC. I first saw the Centerpiece magazine scans at FCA, but I'm not sure where I copied them. All three are in the blog. West Virginia PBS stations will also be airing the special on 9/11.

Confirmation of the San Francisco T&T Tour date with theater photos plus the Timeless Tour montage "That's What Friends Are For" by LovesClaysVoice complete the entry.

Thank you to those who visit the Internet Clay blogs and leave comments. You really help us promote positive CA news.

Just found this at CH from hope. The entire Biloxi concert is uploaded and can be watched as a whole at wowzers's YouTube channel. This is Scarlett's full concert. Click on "Playlists" at the top and then the first video under Playlists and the entire concert will play in sequence.

    http://www.youtube.com/user/Wowzers4Clay

I started watching the concert until I realized I'd be spending most of my morning on my computer.

You computer/video savvy people...if I can watch this on my TV thru my laptop will the picture be too pixelly?

Would it be better if I d/l the avi files?

I'll check this out. I knew Hope was planning to arrange Scarlett's concert videos in order at the Wowzers Channel. Scarlett has been working on the large files, which I'm sure are finding their way into the CV/CH vaults and CU. They definitely require some memory. :whistling-1:

Have a great week, all! :yahoo:

Ohhhhh, thank you, Fear. We certainly have had to wait long enough, LOL! :snoopy:

Hang in there, aikim! Educators have to keep their certification current with courses, workshops, etc. :friends:

First two days of music lessons about killed me. Wednesday is like a "brief weekend" for me. I start up again on Thursday, but no driving is involved. They come to me. :)

Have a great evening, all! :twinklewhore:

  3. I laughed so hard during this. It takes several revival clips and puts them together. Enjoy, This was done by SueRue:

    Hello, all! :BlowKiss:

This montage by SueReu leads the new Carolina On My Mind blog. Also featured is a visual Timeless Tour montage entitled "Celebration" by clayaikenfan4ever18. Both include Sendspace download links.

Did y'all know that Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys has recorded an album of Gershwin? I included a couple of links about this, too.

Sorry I'm so late getting over here. Half of my Monday music lesson schedule, which was all set to begin tomorrow, came unraveled tonight. After many emails, phone calls, and shifts, it is at least back to the juggling stage.

Thnx for stopping by the Carolina blog when you can. Have a great week! :snoopy:

  4. I have been reading on the boards all the excitement about getting tickets to the Timeless Tour and while I am glad that fans have been getting great tickets I am feeling a little frustrated that there is still no official mention of any concerts on the west coast.

I have read here that PBS in San Francisco has sold tickets to a concert not yet announced but where did the information come from about a concert in Oregon and LA?

Sometimes being a Clay fan is like being on a roller coaster ride, right now I'm going down and I am not excited, screaming maybe but not a happy camper.

Lotus here... whining and venting...glad there is a place to do so. sigh!!

    Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Lotus, I hope the west coast dates come through. From reading lots of recaps, I know Clay mentioned some possibilities in Timeless Tour M&G's. Also, people have been getting info from their PBS stations, some of which won't be showing the T&T LIVE special until later (Sept - Dec) dates. I know SueReu has her fingers crossed for the Portland, OR, possibility.

Thank you for your Carolina blog visits. Speaking of which, I added that the 20 Winter Tour dates are now listed at Pollstar, two of which have "live" Ticketmaster buttons -- Cincinnati and Minneapolis. :)

Have a great weekend, all! :twinklewhore:

  5. Happy Weekend, FCA! :yahoo:

The new Carolina On My Mind blog anticipates Clay's 'OMG 2' Winter Tour concerts with promo interview videos/ticket sale info and celebrates Timeless Tour highlights with SueReu's very special montage.

For those in the Memphis area, the "Conversation with Clay Aiken" interview by WKNO will re-air at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 6.

Thank you for your blog visits and comments. They provide an important boost for the Internet Clay blogs at Google.

Have an awesome weekend, all! :twinklewhore:

The new Carolina On My Mind blog features the current 12-venue Tried & True Tour ticket pre-sales, Clay's WKNO Memphis "conversation" with Pierre Kimsey, and graphics by Fountaindawg, AmazingCA, and SueReu.

Hope you enjoy. Thank you for your comments/visits, retweets, and FB reposts, :flirtysmile3:

I wrote to Pierre Kimsey, told him how his "best ever" interview was playing in Clay Cyber and suggested that the station replay the conversation and/or link it on their website. I think they would sell lots of concert tickets for the new/returning fans Clay garnered during the Timeless Tour.

There are unprecedented numbers of positive reports coming from those dancing the ticket tango today. Can't beat that! :whistling-1:

Have a great day, all! :snoopy:

keepingfaith, I would love to quote your entire recap. What an awesome time you have described -- the acoustics, the "on fire" performance, and the NJU stories! I will probably come back and ask to quote some of the latter in a blog. :)

The new Carolina On My Mind blog was uploaded earlier this evening. Besides video of TOML, there are three clips recapping the "theme song" search in Verona (bluegrass), Hammond (Reggae), and Biloxi (opera). Scarlett and toni7babe supplied the videos, and five photos by Invisible926 are featured. Hope you enjoy. Thank you for your comments and visits.

If any of you have a YouTube Channel or website with Timeless Tour videos, I will be glad to add the links to this blog entry.

Since I have been living this concert all day, I am finally getting to read some Biloxi recaps. In fact, kf, I think I'll read yours again. :flirtysmile3:

Have an awesome new week, all! :twinklewhore:

  8. Hee - sidenote: When I said 'graphic design' - he immediately said 'oooh, what kind of design?? We need...' and then he got distracted by something and never came back to it. Damnit!!! (If you're reading, Clay - call me!!) BWAHAHAHAHAH!! [snip]

I wish we could be in Biloxi tonight, but I am 100% grateful and happy for the past 10 days - truly a highlight of my seven+ years of fandom.

Cindy, you know I have to share this with Sally. She will be so pleased for you. How awesome! Thnx for the recap. :flirtysmile3:

    Caro :listen:

Please do, Caro! He did say something like 'good for you' but I can't remember the exact words. The Aiken Fog is a powerful and brutal thing. I wish we could record these things. :cryingwlaughter: I really, really hope the other gals tell their stories.

Sally was thrilled with your report! :yahoo:

  9. I fell in love with Clay, the man, all over again. He is a genuine good heart and my respect for him grew even deeper after this experience. For my own part, I finally got a coherent sentence or two out of my mouth - and I am going to be smiling for a long, long time. He asked us each what we did for a living and I told him that I was now doing graphic design, thanks to him. He asked 'why thanks to me?' (with a slightly skeptical arch to the eyebrow) and I explained that my interest in it started by 'playing with him', lol - and that I learned I loved it and had gone back to school and changed careers (and thus my life) thanks to him. He said 'all that in the last seven years?' (all the skepticism gone). He seemed to be genuinely impressed and flattered and I was over-the-moon thrilled to finally have been able to tell him that without any sappiness or pretense. I'll never forget it!

Caro... loved your blog! I was rockin' here at home to that youtube. Footloose has to be my fave of the show! I love that movie and just watched it last month, so it was very fresh in my mind. I cannot think the new footloose could ever be as good.

Thnx, liney23! Scarlett did her best to get one up at YouTube to match the three concerts of the previous blog, but she kept running into slow connections. I downloaded one of her videos that has the "Footloose" encore, but it hasn't made it to YouTube yet.

Meanwhile ....a new Carolina blog -- Clay Aiken, Ruben Studdard Chart Fun-Filled Finale -- is up. I had to stop and eat some lunch before coming here. :)

Thank you to mrbaconclayaiken17 for the wonderful montage, Fountaindawg and momo for their Timeless Tour slide show/research at Clay Aiken Kids, Cotton for the band member names, and to all who support the Internet Clay blogs with vistis/comments. :flirtysmile3:

If you ever feel inclined to retweet the Carolina blog, mine always end up in the "All Friends" column on Tweet Deck. :whistling-1:

I linked the Front Stage request for concert reviews by fans. So far, some of the comments in the Carolina blog -- and recaps I have read on the boards -- would be great additions to that site.

Looking forward to a wonderful tour finale. Have an awesome day, all! :yahoo:

LOL, it really is (very early) Friday morning where I am. :)

Idyj, enjoy your born-again virgin state at the Hammond Concert. And all the best with your Clayversion! :whistling-1:

keepingfaith, I used yours in the new Carolina blog. Super cool! :snoopy:

I was so glad when jb4clay posted the MTV guy's reply to her comment. I had been gradually deleting the few paragraphs of his review I planned to quote in the blog. Finally ended up with this remark to her:

They have fantastic chemistry and seem to be having the time of their lives on this tour. It was a fun night.

The new Carolina On My Mind features the Hampton Beach, Hammerstein, and (coming) Verona concerts. For the overview, there are photos (cameocat, Asolo, mustbeeme), video (Scarlett), and quotes from recaps/posts (dancermom2, Brightstar, momo, Marilyn, libra1014, keepingfaith, rhodeislandfan). More photos in the morning ... :dancetom:

Thank you for your comments and visits. Safe travels and Happy Weekend, all! :BlowKiss:

Just returned from an afternoon and a half of teaching lessons. The parking lot is being redone for the start of school; but, fortunately, I could still park on the side. What a hot day for parents and students to have to walk from the lower lot!

Just before leaving, I uploaded a new Carolina On My Mind that features videos (Scarlett) from the Lancaster, PA, concert (opening and STO), Lancaster photos by Irishbookgal and amazed in nj, and Fountaindawg's graphic of nickikiwi's photos from Windsor.

Many thnx to them and to all who visit the Internet Clay blogs! :flowers:

Loving all the photos and screen caps at FCA! :flirtysmile3:

Here's to an awesome concert at Hampton Beach! :yahoo:

The new Carolina On My Mind blog celebrates a very special second birthday today with Fountaindawg's "Dream Big and Dare" graphic for Parker. The weekend's Timeless Tour capacity crowds and primo clack (Scarlett), a Top 10 listing for the Clay Aiken-Chaka Khan duet, etc., also make the list!

Thnx to Cotton and Deborah Gibson for the photos from Foxwoods. Also, thank you to all who visit and comment in the Internet Clay blogs. This only takes a couple of minutes but greatly enhances placement at Google and other search engine websites.

Thnx to all who share clack and recaps with those of us at home.

I like the idea of making TOML a sort of encore. A show this good needs an encore!

keeping... loved the story about your DD. Maybe there is hope for my not-clay-loving kids. Naw... probably not.

    DITTO to both! :whistling-1:

I hope Parker has enjoyed a wonderful birthday! :snoopy:

Have an awesome week, all! :BlowKiss:

What an awesome cellstream we had last night! Guess CV's Okie does not go for the west coast mountains. Scarlett and I "chatted" via FB early this morning, and she has clack of the "mic-in-the-drawers." :whistling-1:

The new Carolina On My Mind blog features the most recent concerts and leads with AmazingCA's graphic of "the photo," which looks like it may be by Vincent Soyez. I wish there were a photo ID on it. There is a clickable at the bottom.

There's a lot more, including Scarlett's Reno revival video, the kiss sequence other photos from Milwaukee, etc., etc. Thank you for your comments and visits.

According to cagney1950 at CV, the the Lancaster Intellegencer Journal/Lancaster New Era this morning has a pull out Entertainment of Lancaster section and on the cover is the picture from GAH and a nice pic of Ruben!!! And the inside article has another full page article featuring a huge pic of Clay and and slightly smaller one of Ruben. This was the online article brought over here last night.

What I like about the Windsor review is that the writer put into words what fans have been saying all along -- how well the Clay and Ruben chemistry would translate into a variety show on TV.

Thnx for the recaps and photos that are coming in. I look forward to checking them all out. :flirtysmile3:

Have a great day, all! I have got to try to take a nap. :clay:

I have a new air-conditioner! All morning while the guys were taking out the ancient version (for which no parts are made anymore) and installing the new unit, I was putting together a new Carolina On My Mind blog. Here's the gist:

Though seven shows, audiences are loving the musical, fun-filled Timeless Tour of Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard. The new Carolina blog features videos, graphics, and recaps, as well as segments about today's Phineas & Ferb debut, the PBS Special, 2011 Tried & True Tour dates, and a plea for funds by Clack Unlimited.

Thank you for your comments and visits, FB posts, tweets, etc. My tweet can be found under "All Friends." If someone retweets me, it will go into the "Clay Aiken" column. Why my tweets are banned from Clay's column I don't know. Many thnx for the assistance! :flirtysmile3:

:meme: There are now 13 Feb-Mar 2011 Tried & True concert dates, the newest being Cincinnati. This list will be updated in the blog entry.

Has anyone ever heard of the website UberVU? I noticed a link in the live feed for UberVU. This one takes you to the 7/27 Carolina blog and includes the comments, too. Here's a link to the main page at UberVU.

Enjoyed hearing from you again and reading your wonderful recap, Jenna!

Tomorrow the crew returns to install a new heater. For this, I will be teaching music lessons the rest of my life. I also must pick at least one brain about the digital thermostat, which is quite different from the relic that departed this morning.

Love all the excitement, recaps, etc., going on in the CA fandom! Have an awesome week, all! :twinklewhore:
