Thank you for the awesome recaps and and photos from Washington! I have been enjoying Scarlett's videos posted by Wowzers4Clay with permission on YouTube.
One of my projects today was composing an email for Nashville friends RE the telecast of Clay's Tried & True LIVE special there on Sunday. I emailed a copy of the letter to a few Clay fans in case they want to use it as an outline for stations in their area. If anyone is interested, I can post it here.
All you have to do is check the CANN PBS Database for locations/stations/dates that work for your circle. This link is available to anyone on the Internet.
There's a lot of info in the current Carolina On My Mind blog (video promo, screen caps, DVD list, etc.). Apparently, there is quite a bit of interest because traffic has been steady. Thnx to all who have stopped by!
Yo, treenuts and cindilu2!
FCA is going to party down in Reno tonight! :04:
My daughter called from Hawaii where she and the grandkids are having a ball. My DVD just arrived, and I am off to watch it! Have a wonderful evening, all!

Several fans have posted about seeing Clay's picture with details about PBS telecasts in their local newspaper. One I was very interested to see was the Nashville Tennessean. I intend to send some of my Nashville friends an email with the promo video, info about the show, etc. I don't know too many folks in the other July 31-Aug 1 cities, but I'm going to do my best to alert some musicians in Nashville.
The current Carolina On My Mind entry lists all 30 PBS markets airing the special this weekend (July 31-Aug 1) and provides a link to a searchable database for later telecasts -- by location, date, station, etc.
Tying in the T&T 2011 concerts is great marketing. I have updated the blog several times with "confirmed" concerts since it went online Thursday afternoon. Many thnx to all who have visited the Carolina site.
I watched canfly's Pastor Studdard Snoqualmie video this morning. I love it when he cracks Clay up. :rofl3:I have Snoqualmie video by canfly and Scarlett on my TODO playlist right now. First, I have to write a letter to parents about a price raise, which I have been putting off. Not one of my favorite activities, but the academy is raising teacher fees. The videos will be my reward.
ncgurrl great recap! Love all the recaps, so keep 'em coming.

Have a blast, liney and all heading to Reno!
Happy Friday, all!

Tried to do the cellcert, but no way is it working tonight. Let's hope pray for clack!
The new Carolina On My Mind blog features this weekend's coast-to-coast kickoff of the Clay Aiken: Tried & True ~ LIVE! special in 30 PBS markets, all of which are listed. Featured are double clickable screen caps and scans from the T&T LIVE DVD, a Fountaindawg graphic, plus unofficial T&T Tour dates for February-March 2011. I have added a several since the blog went up.
From some early remarks, I think the caps and scans are selling DVD's. As always, thank you for your comments and visits.
Hope everyone in Snoqualmie, WA, is have a blast tonight! :confettistars:
Happy Friday (almost), all!

Hello!
Too bad no cellstream. Must be the mountains and whatever else between there and the East Coast.
Hope we get to hear about it and see some clack!

The new Carolina On My Mind blog includes recaps/photos from Clearwater, the show's ever-evolving set list (thnx to many of you!), Melbourne photos, the "loyalty to Clay" site, and the Disney Radio premiere with cindilu2's super screen cap.
The blog, which just hit Google, quotes the following fans: Outback, kbdm, Annie2053, and Canuck2010. Many thnx for their insight into the Clearwater show. Photographers featured include Invisible926 and deemer.
Thank you for your visits/comments/support of the Internet Clay blogs. I always need retweets if you can catch me in "All Friends."
A very Happy Birthday to KAndre! :04:
I enjoyed listening to the Clearwater Concert with y'all last night. Awesome recap by GBB you just quoted, Idyj!
This is a traveling day for me, so I am running. Have a great day, all!

Oops, my multitasking went crazy. Double Post!

I'm mostly reading and listening. I am enjoying the show and the videos help clear up any questions I have. One thing Clay said repeatedly in tour promos was that he and Ruben would be on stage together for 85% of the time. Sure enough!
Thnx for the expertise on the set list. Unless there are changes, I'm going to print it as is and say it's changed every night.

I found it!!! Multitaskiing -- writing blog, listening to cellcert, etc. Mine was under "Now Playing."

Here's AAIT's reply:
In WMP, View...Enhancements...Graphic EqualizerThen click Turn On at left side of section.
Then you'll see Reset and some other word to the right of that, both clickable.
Click the second word.
That opens up various style choices.
Play around to see what you like, but I'm most pleased with New Age for this show.
I can't find "View"!
Caro

Thnx! I know I've been able to find "tools" on other laptops for Windows Media, but I can't seem to find it. I have been playing with the volume, too.
Caro

Where is the graphic equalizer? AAIT on CV said she put hers on "New Age" and it REALLY helped the sound.
Thnx for the decades!

I keep quoting myself. Weird!
Love the hot, hot band! Wish we could understand the banter. Hope the audience is. I also hope Deborah gets another audio version now that the sets are settling in..

Yeah, but you missed Still The One
LOL, sounds like they both got kicked in the crotch there at the start of Night Fever.
HEEEE, that's what I was thinking, cindilu2! I have been listening while editing (bold, italic, etc.) the set list for tomorrow's blog.
What are the decades of the medleys -- 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s?
Caro

You can have your wish if you check your email in a few minutes ;-)
HEEEE -- thnx! Is this "ask for anything" night?
Caro

Thnx for all the set list updates/corrections -- a team effort!
Caro

So I got the stream on just in time to hear the end of an announcement. Anybody know what it was?
Love your avi, cindilu2! Wish I had that cap for the blog! Found the P&F preview at YouTube today and added a player for Part 1.
Hope we get good sound -- and clack! -- tonight!

KAndre, you are the woman! I don't think I took a breath the entire time I was reading that recap.
Of course, that might be the really long sentences working.
frankly, by the end of the tour, I expect Quiana will be passing around a collection plateDamn it, I really should have my credit card ready to dump at Clay's feet, shouldn't I?
DITTO to Idyj's post! I sent this recap to a friend and told her to inhale deeply before diving in. Thnx, KAndre!
Bottle, looking forward to the "finished" set list. You can't imagine how many people are "googling" this in blog searches.
Just added a YouTube video of Part 1 of the Phineas&Ferb preview to the Carolina blog. It includes the duet and the camera-smashing kid. I hope it stays up!
Have a great day, all!

I have a few of corrections now that I've finally listened to everything:
The Tears for Fears song is: Shout
The REO Speedwagon song is: Can't Fight This Feeling
After it is a Chaka Khan song: Through The Fire
The Huey Lewis song is: If This Is It
And the title of the Jump Jump song is: Jump Around
Awesome! Can't wait to see the finished list ... but then they will probably change it, LOL!
luckiest1, you are right. Deborah's recording is very clear. I hope she will attend an indoor concert and record again as the show gets tighter.

Bottle, did you see the post at CV RE the set list?

LUVclay at CB has set list updates....I think I can help with some of the songs. "This Is How We Do It" is by Montell Jordan. The song after is "Poison" by Bel Biv DeVoe. That was a huge hit was when I was in HS. The Jefferson Starship song is "Nothing Is Gonna Stop Us Now." I have not seen the rest of the 90s medley beyond the Backstreet Boys Song. I have not seen the 80s medley yet either. I hope that helps though I'm sure someone has posted it anyway.
I would love to print a set list in the Carolina blog. I notice that lots of people are coming there via Google searches for a set list.

Preacher bit...too long...time for a break.
I'm pretty sure this is one of those moments that just doesn't translate to cellcerts, or even to Clack. The audience sure seems to be enjoying it.
This one does seem longer than the last two though.
I tend to agree with you, Cindy. I received a call from Sally just as this afternoon's cellstream was starting. She wanted to tell me how much she and her son enjoyed video of the preacher segment. They were both rolling on the floor.
Sorry I missed the concert thread today. I listened though while working on a blog, which I uploaded about an hour ago: Carolina On My Mind.
It has the P&F info/links, many Jax photos, and Lucia's M&G recap edited down a little. Thnx for your visits/comments. I can't keep this daily stuff up; the new week starts tomorrow, and I'll go back to my three-day routine.
Hope we hear more form Scarlett soon. Have a great week, all!

Bummer about Oki. It has to be tested to see if it's a recording device, and caperkeeper probably can't retrieve it until Monday.
Meanwhile, Scarlett and four others were escorted out.
What is so weird is that Clay doesn't mind the clack, makes jokes about it, etc. I wish he could get some kind of an agreement with all venues -- LEAVE MY FANS ALONE!

This is the medley I was watching, though I think it's different:
Medley: This is How You Do It ( Boyz2Men)/?/Achy Breaky Heart/ The right stuff/MMBop/End of the Road/I Swear/I Want it That Way/You Ougtha Know/Jump Jump/?/Livin La Vida Loca/One Sweet Day

So far, to me, it sounded like the opening -- not that we could hear it as well last night.

REPORT FROM HOTLANTA:
Sally just called me for an "intervention" with the Atlanta Concert tickets. Not really -- she had already spent $500 for two front row (pit) tickets w/ M&Gs, DVD, CD, the whole kit and kaboodle! She figures she will still be celebrating her 7/29 birthday in February. After all, it was a big one!
She asked Phone Lady if they were receiving lots of calls. "Oh, yes!" Sally told her if Atlanta keeps bringing Clay Aiken back, the station will get lots of memberships because he has a huge, loyal fan base willing to spend big bucks to see him.
I think Phone Lady is a believer!
One thing Sally mentioned is that before they would talk to her about concert tickets, they wanted to know her zip code. She got the feeling Atlanta would like to keep the concert local.
She also said that Clay looked good and was very personable on the pledge breaks.
