rohdy... You only use it if you decide to take up a dancing profession or if you start making crank calls... :cryingwlaughter:

It might be useful if one had a part-time job as a phone sex operator. :17f71c4d: Gotta raise those Clay funds somehow... :eusa_whistle:

Bottlecap... thanks for the idea... I was looking for a way to earn extra money to travel to Clay... :cryingwlaughter:

My porn name is BeBe Vermillion... I kinda like it!!!

    Diva... BWAH to your segway!!!

  2. What I find interesting about Clay foray into fan stories is how he has said more than once that everyone has a story. I think he thought it would be fascinating to hear some of his fans' stories. He got his wish... and then some... LOL! But, I do bet he read every one of them. Probably wearily after awhile, but I'll just bet he read them all. One of his charms is how he looks at everyone like they are fascinating people and ... what a fascinating man he himself is!

And, the M&G's are to him, probably, a chance to meet interesting people who can entertain him or challenge him. Who is going to show themselves to be fun/interesting? That's why boring questions turn him off. That's one of the reasons working with children with disabilities worked so well for him... it was always interesting, touching, challenging. I LUV HIM!!!

    KAndre...

BTW, I'm starting a petition that since the Hope is a national treasure, we should get turns to wear it. And I am willing to take y'all's turns since y'all don't like to be all ostentatious and stuff.
I want to sincerely thank you for your selfless offer to take my turn! I have a tear in my eye!!! (from laughter) sniff!
  3. Yes, but Clay knows his fans go to multiple shows and each concert is shared online. AND, so many stories were submitted that he has to understand people will be disappointed that he decides to use one story over and over, especially since being chosen to read your story also means getting a chance to meet Clay.

Yes, but no one really knows, out of 1600 stories, how many Clay read that hit what he was aiming for jest right! LOL

  4. Gibby... how far is it from Denver to Omaha? If you start driving right after the concert, you'll be wide enough awake to drive a couple of hours, stop and get some sleep and then finish driving. I hope you can arrange to go... jumpingjacks, too. That would be awesome!

[rant] Some idiot from CH spilled the beans about the secret Clay asked the M&Gers to keep. Now, it was not that important of a secret, but what a putz! She said she didn't care if people thought she was a bad fan... I don't think she's a bad fan... I think she's an untrustworthy person. How can you be proud of the fact that you can't keep a secret... geesh! [/rant]

  5. Keepingfaith... HUGS!!!

A friend posted this in another board after Kalamazoo and I snagged it, it says it all...

ClayAiken is a special, special man……thank God we did not let him slip away from us……like so many that came after him. We have something very special, we need to continue to nurture it and be thankful for it……and show him the love and respect he so deserves from his fans……

I like the nuturing part... if he'd only let me close enough, dang it... I am NOT on the list, by the way!!! LOL

I keep watching LNM_Scarlett's Jazzy Medley, too! That is just the best thing I have eveh seen/heard! Clay Aiken, Entertainer Extraordinaire!!!

  6. Cotton... my answer from page 53...

About the eye.... he has always had that slightly wonky eye that partially closes when he is tired/stressed. I have noticed over the tours that when the eye starts closing more and more in the vids/pics is when he wears his glasses. I noticed in the 4th concert that the eye was closing and sure enough, the next night, glasses. That's all the eye thing is. Just my personal observation. Not that I watch Clay a whole lot or anything like that. LOL

Diva... the party sounds wonderful! Wish I lived a little closer than Orange County... LOL

  7. Clayperfect... in her recap of her M&G from St. Louis...

He refered to it doesn't matter what he wears, hairs, songs, set etc.. someone always criticizes and picks it apart.. so he no longer worries about that and doesn't even give it the time of day..he is who he is and that is what the world gets.. the real Clay.

I wish this could be posted on the front page of every board in the ClayNation! He gets it, now some of the fans just need to. LUV this man! (oh, I think I've said that before sometime or another... LOL)

Cindilu... I totally agree about the Jazzy medley. It is just the bestest of the best! He and Jesse had a bunch of fun with that one! You can tell he loves doing it, too!

  8. About the eye.... he has always had that slightly wonky eye that partially closes when he is tired/stressed. Play... when is your first concert. If they don't have them up by then, then just to be safe, I still want mine. Who knows what they'll put online. I might not like it as much as I do the hat/scarf combo they have now.

11/30/07 : Update on the "Christmas in the Heartland" Tour

    By Team Clay

The "Christmas in the Heartland" tour so far has been tons of fun and a tremendous success! Thank you to all the fans who attended and to those of you that will be coming to future shows. The hats and scarves are selling so well that we will have to order more to keep up with the demand! And since these cozy items are such great sellers, stay tuned to the news for updates on new sets that will be exclusively available in the Clay Aiken Official Store.

  9. I LOVE the dramatic effect of the light shining on the empty microphone... I hope he makes that a trademark for when he is performing indoors, it is sooo cool! HE is so cool... he got that way this summer, ya know! LOL

His poor eye... hope the day off heals it up!

Glad he's going to sell the merchandise online... geesh, the man just doesn't understand how much we want to throw our money at him if he'd just give us a chance... LOL

  10. Wow, that lighting was GORGEOUS! I bet, though, that was the venue's lighting director, not anyone Clay has with him or else we would have seen it before. Hopefully the other venues he is going to will have equally creative and talented people. Cause it sure looke pretty!

Claygasm... my first thought when I saw and read about the new lighting is that the new guy persuaded Clay to try something new or vise versa. I guess we'll see tonight. If it was from the venue, wonder if Clay will try to imitate it now. It sounded VERY effective and a neat way to end the show... very dramatic!

Can't wait to get home to listen to that interview, but - if he's trying to do songs more like he did on Idol, does this mean we aren't going to get that kick-ass rock album we were sooooo sure Clay really, really wanted to do? And if not, is it all RCA's fault??? <snark>

CG... BWAH!!! You know, my daughter didn't like either of his albums. She said she liked what he sang on AI. I just scratch my head cause I'm not sure what the heck she means. Not sure what Clay means either. He sang a couple of uptempo songs on the show and the lyrics were not always so meaningful either. It's a puzzler and I'll just have to wait and find out where he's headed. I LOVE ATDW, so I trust him. With that voice, I'm going to enjoy whateveh he chooses to sing to me, I'm sure.

You and muski have a great time and blow him a kiss for me, please!

  11. Why don't we just say this?

    birthday9.gif

Play... I LUV this... Happy Birthday, Clay!!!

    CITHWaukegan.jpg

Another one - isn't he gorgeous??

    209Waukegan.jpg

Gibby... both of these are just GORGEOUS!!!

    Oh my...

    tagIMG_4889.jpg

    Dead. I'm dead.

ldyj... I'll see you in heaven (as long as Clay is singing)... WOW!!!

Muski... have a great time with CG AND with that Clay guy I've heard about!

The man is freakin' gorgeous! Never seen him look this good or sound better! How can I tumble further in love with him than I was before!

  12. I have figured out a way to become rich enough to be a traveling Clay fan... I'm going to develop a line of fashionable drool bibs for viewing clack! In different fabrics, of course, and different colors. Some with chemicals in them (biodegradeable, of course) that makes the drool turn the color most harmonious with the bib. And, for the discriminating fan, ones with blinky lihgts around the edges. Alternating colors of lights, of course. Anyone want to go partners with me???? (hears a pin drop) :laugh2:

I've been telling my friends about Clay's birthday gifts and they have been VERY impressed. Books for a school system and a summer camp... WOW!!! He must be soooo touched!

I need to go to bed, but I just have to watch DSIAFCD AGAIN before I retire. With the stripper comments, it is a total delight!

  13. Jumpingjack... I'm soooo sorry you had to sell your beautiful ticket to see the beautiful man! I'll :cry4: with you!

I haven't been a fan of the falsetto in DSIAFCD in the past, but last night's little trick with the hand cupping the mic and the triple falsetto kinds got to me. Me likey!!

YSRN, you are me! When I saw that...for some unknown reason I felt a little....flutter in my girlie parts. :hubbahubba:

muski... gotta agree with you again! I have watched that part over and over and over and....

ETA: I think the hand/mic thing during the falsetto is definitely to help create an effect. If you watch the video I took in St. Louis, you can see him get his hand in position to do that before he raises the mic up to his mouth.

farouche.... THANK YOU for that clack. As I said above, it is my favorite of all the clack I've watched so far... over and over and over... :cryingwlaughter: So glad you could read for Clay. And, your story autographed... that man is class all the way! And, come around more often when you can.

What an awesome show... he done good! And, he trusted his gut once again in doing it. Man has a really good "gut"... :cryingwlaughter: Either way you define it! :hubbahubba:

  14. luckiest... for you...

Chef Matt never ceases to surprise me. Where he comes up with all of his creative dishes, I will never know. In addition to everything being tasty, it is also good for you. If it weren't for Matt, I would probably be eating McDonald's every day. Now I find myself happily passing by the fast food joints that I love in order to get home to one of Chef Matt's home-cooked meals. On top of being wonderfully accomodating with his delicious menu options, Chef Matt is also courteous and impeccably clean while he is a guest in your kitchen. Even my obsessive compulsions are no setback for him. He works in, provides for and leaves my kitchen exactly the way I like it; and I am very picky!!

    Clay Aiken - Raleigh/Durham

That long, lanky man is soooo hawt!!! Sometimes he looks so dorky, then he turns around and looks like that... and, that's what makes him soooo interesting to me. You never know which Clay/Clayton you are going to get at any given second, cause he can switch back and forth in an instant. :Thud:

ETA: Geesh, you guys were tooo fast for me... oh, well... on to the concert!

  15. KAndre.... :cryingwlaughter::cryingwlaughter::cryingwlaughter::cryingwlaughter:

Bravo, but why did you change Clay's name to Chase part way thru??? :cryingwlaughter: Is that the plagerized part? Sorry, I'm still :lmaosmiley-1:

I LOVE this board! Everyone is free to express any opinion and discuss it (baring disrespect) and what I like the most is that no one belabors the point over and over and over. I don't mind reading any opinion once... some make me think about why they think that way. Just don't spend 25 posts trying to persuade anyone to have the same opinion. State it and go on.

I mostly lurked in a thread that was for discussing Clay's CD at the OFC. I left when I got tired of all the posts over and over refuting anything said that didn't agree with the RCA is out to ruin Clay or else they are just incompetent car. Not fun! :cryingwlaughter:

    Here's a pretty, Ansa...

    226390174-M.jpg

I love that Clay Aiken guy! :Thud:

  16. KAndre thinks for a minute, then points her finger and laughs at the world's least scariest admin...

As for which vision is right? I keep telling you people, MINE.

I don't wanna be Clay Aiken when I grow up. I'm very fond of occasionally being totally unreasonable. And pissing people off. Wait, maybe that is Clay.

KAndre... :cryingwlaughter: Not sure which of your statements made me laugh the hardest... BWAH!!!

Here is something from CH that may answer the question about a busline...

    IU Gal wrote:

One of my local friends ran into Jerome at the box office and had a few minutes to chat. He said Clay was mad at him last night because he failed to line up the fans for the bus line after the concert. She was not able to compose herself long enough to ask if there would be one tonight.

He'd better wear one of his scarf/hat combos tho... he has to stay healthy! LOL

Muski... Wow... she must have been REALLY obnoxious to get Kenny to go off on her! Man! Keep on keeping on and you will get where you want to go re the takedown at work. Responsibility, yes, but don't forget the essential step of forgiving yourself. You can't really go to the next level without letting go of the old level and self-forgiveness is a must do in the process. [/philosophical address]

jmh... thanks for the focused picture... it is now my desktop! The man looks soooo good back at his slender self. Did you see the endorsement he did for his chef? Bless the chef!!!

    S.W.O.O.N.

    I love that scarf!

    00Isee...

Such a display of fortitude and self-control is unprecedented, believe me...but I hope it will help me enjoy Clay's creation even more...seeing it for the first time LIVE.

Congrats on your fortitude... may you be richly rewarded! Get the audio of St. Louis DSIAFCD... the best I've ever heard! And, the hand cupping the mic during the falsetto is to die for! (not that I'm trying to tempt you or anything, but everyone else... GO SEE IT)

Be back later... have to get out the door to work!
