Great news on the book drive!!!! :F_05BL17blowkiss: Ok, Luckiest1 and Cindilu......where are you???!!??? According to my calculations, one of you at least should be home by now!!! Details!!! I need details!!!

I went to the concert too! Got last minute good seats. Unfortunately, I think they were too good. Seeing John up close in person was NOT a good thing for me! I thought I'd see hot rock stud , but instead he looked just like a nerd from my former life. It was quite sad and strange and weird. He looks sooooooo much better in pictures and on the TV. What a weird experience. I have no interest in seeing or hearing Bon Jovi anything anymore. I hope it's only temporary! It makes me think I don't really want to win a meet and greet with Clay. I've seen him very up close and in person - he was standing right beside me during one of the JBT stops when he went out into the audience, so he pases the initial impression test, but the thought of interacting with him freaks me out now. What if "The Bon Jovi effect" happens?? Yikes!! ETA: GREAT I'm on top! ETA2: I definitely think a beer or two probably would have helped! The thought did cross my mind! ETA3: edited a bit so I'm not being so harsh!

I can sympathize with you also Scarlett. I replaced a MAN who held a notable position in the local agricultural industry for a number of years. Heaven forbid a 20something female try to do the same job! It was interesting for awhile, to say the least. I figured I got paid regardless of whether they chose to follow my recommendations, so it was their loss, not mine. I'm trying to figure out a way to get to NYC!

What an evil, evil man!!!

When our dog tangled with a skunk, the concoction we discovered on the internet was Hydrogen peroxide, dishwashing detergent and DOUCHE!! Yes, my husband went to the drugstore and bought some douche! Afterall, it's HIS dog! We were skeptical, but it worked really well!! The wonders of Summer's Eve. My DH was also upset and whatnot (must be a condition caused by having your pet sprayed), and brought the dog into the house immediately afterwards. I walked in the door and nearly passed out! If your dog rubbed up against anything able to absorb the stink, look out! I had to toss my leather coat, and my DH's sweatshirt he was wearing at the time still has a faint odor. Isn't this just the greatest delurking post? Douche and all!!! :lmaosmiley-1: Do I score any points for finally getting my butt over here??? 50 edits later..... The pictures here are just !!1!1!!
