  1. Teacher needs help here.... I have a song that I've lost a cassette tape for. I downloaded the song but it has a long intro to it that I want to chop off and also it's an mp3 and I need to convert it to CD format cuz I'm pretty sure the CD players at school don't like Mp3s.

It's A You're Adorable. I'd like to have the first 29 seconds chopped off and then have it re-saved so it will play on any CD player :

    Description: A You're Adorable

You can use the following link to retrieve your file:

    http://www.sendspace.com/file/zhch6t

Can anybody help? I downloaded goldwave...or the trial current version: AVS Audio Editor but it keeps wanting to record this voice over...maybe that means I can't use the trial version?

BTW: What DO you call the standard format for a CD? Is that wav?

  2. I'm not even gonna try to think....my head's spinning...well not literally.

Sparky's been sick for almost 2 weeks now it seems. One test revealed a large ovarian cyst....but she seemed to have more symptoms than could be attributed to that. Well, her doc's been away and hospital wait times in her province are like 20 hrs, so she didn't go...well she finally went...ruptured appendix with infection that's gotta be reduced before they can ever do surgery. I'm gonna try to see if I can get ahold of her hubby tomorrow. Might be hard. They don't have a cellphone. Sparky prefers smoke-signals, lol.

:sniff: (what's the code for the blue :sniff guy?)

I's worried. I know somebody else who's hubby just died due to complications post-op from appendix removal.

    :bitenails:

  3. I'm alright...just wiped from 2 PA Days and too many meetings and then trying to get the classroom ready. I gots a heady-achey. Got my high-speed again. First computer tech had given me the new IP, etc...numbers to plug in for the new tower radio and 2 were incorrect. Last dude got me hooked up and my new router too, so now I can be on the internet in more than one room! Yay!

I'm definitely to tired to look of song lists, so any playing I do will be if something "just comes to me"

    song1 - a requirement unquestionably unflinching unconventional one's superior

song2 - obey my darling take possession of over and over

All I got for #1 is Everything I Don't Need

  4. O/T - Reed has changed his profile picture again. Lord have mercy... :Imok:

Dude loves showing off the sixpack doesn't he, lol?

Speaking of vids, I'm re-doing the Vancouver JNT05 to answer for goldarngirl's call for clips. Didn't realize it but I'd only rendered part of the show, even missing important parts like the one where he talked to LauraQ who was right in front of me. Will post links as they go. After this, per gg, it's Hollywood, FL with the ones from the 2nd set that canfly took with mine.

:hello: waves to goldarngirl down there. I hope it's ok to do the vignettes & songs as individual files (not sure how you plan to run the montages from them... I'm up to HYAMLC but can redo if you want them another way...)

    Hallelujah, lol.

Now go nag SLC for her Ft. Myers stuff, lol.

  5. Yup. :dingding:

Still no internet. Lower right field of vision loss in right eye was presumably caused by my 15yrs with ulcerative colitus...same disease that causes your body to attack the lining of your intestines can damage optic nerves. I have 40% loss on the right. Gonna double check with a CT Scan to make sure nothing could be pressing on the optic nerve. I'm not too worried. No other symptoms. I had NO idea of this bizarre link. Bad news? It's permanent. Good news? I ain't gonna die and it's only the lower part and not quite half. Left eye takes over for most and with head/eye movement, it's not that noticible.

  6. Oh, gimme Mr. Youthinkyoucanoutsnarkme? Aiken anytime! :hubbahubba: Plus any pic that shows full frontal Clay is a winner...and yep, I like that concert hair, too.

The man can wear a suit, that's for sure.

Of course, it would be oh-so-much-fun to take the damned suit off of him, too. Slowly, with little body activities happening between each layer removed....

    :Thud:

Yuppity-yup-yup-yup...full frontal Clay with long hair showing off his long legs and....other attributes! :hubbahubba:

  7. Was out all day...missed page 5, lol.

See, even Clay likes dark-haired Clay best!

Man, I really don't like the Decca picture.

But hey, I know all you people in love are blind....heh!

    :yow:

OK, you're only the second Clayfan that I've heard say that they didn't really care for it.

I think what gets me about the new Decca picture is the SMILE. His smile seems to light up a room (new teeth or not!), so I never notice things like hair. Hee.

Hair.is.everything. (well, ok...the smile and the eyes can help counteract a really bad hairdo, lol)

Who am I to argue? :XmasRed:

  8. I say that I've only just gotten online to have a quick look and it's like 2:30am and my brain is fried, lol.

Today sucked. Needed to get to school to start getting things ready. I had a doctor's appointment at 1pm. Was gonna go after appointment and grabbing groceries. Got home. Got call from M/C. Found out that my credit card number of over 20yrs has been "compromised" and Amex Mastercard wouldn't give me any details re: whether it was online or local merchant cuz of some merchant privacy law and I had a hissy fit over that cuz I can rattle that sucker off and speed type it into any ticket optaining situation without even thinking about it. THEN I discover I have no high-speed. They've been gradually switching people over to a new upgrade...signal doesn't have to get routed through the main server in town now, so I've been supposed to input all of the new IP info in anyhow, so I figure now's as good of a time as any to do the switch seeing I'm getting nadda anyhow...right? Wrong. Got no connection with the new IP stuff either. 2 techs and a bunch of command prompts and unplugging the little white box thing and re-booting and nadda...so stuck on dial-up. Was gonna go out to the school all weekend and felt like crap (cramps...yadda, yadda) and tomorrow is eye dialation/examination day (don't ask...field of vision loss...yeah...right eye...the viewfinder one)...where was I? Oh yeah...HAD to go to school to get started. Didn't get there until 7pm, when the goal was like 3:30. Was there until 10:30. I'm wiped.

Soooooooooooooooo...short answer? I've never played pictionary and this...

w/o using words in the title nor just paraphrasing it

Made me go...HUH? (too lazy to go to PB. Picture Clay staring blankly at you) How the heck ya gonna do dat? We can't draw pictures in here! :cryingwlaughter:

I'm just gonna stick with rewording the title cuz that's the only way this simpleton knows how, lol.

    I'm gonna give it away...

Bodily fluid retains it's strength forever.

  9. #2 gets my vote. I loved everything about that whole show and I was there. I was at the mini concert, right in front. It was so awesome. Loved this look.

    This is so hard!

I love the look of - curious amusement (?) - in the first one.

I love the look of devious HAWTNESS in the second one.

    Besides, I was THERE! :)

    What to do?

    What to do?

    Guess I'll vote with - - -

    I was THERE!

    :cryingwlaughter:

achinforclay? I was there in the front also...I was part of the batch, who stood in line for the studio and people held spots for people and people kept butting in in front of us and we didn't get in, so they took us around back and let us up front for the concert. It was fun...albeit weird cuz we were expecting to be inside watching the taping. Flew from Ontario to LA for the taping and I've still yet to see a studio taping of anything! Loved the flash of tummy.

That being said, I still don't like the bangs, lol...so it's number 1.

Edited cuz gangs aren't bangs.

  11. It's just too bad the clack-gathering won't be hard for Clay. I like it when Clay finds things hard...

    Well, I tried.

I like it when I find hard Clay things.

And that is how it's done Clayzy!

Note: "I" doing the finding vs "Clay" doing the finding. :hysterical:

    Scarlett hon?

    You're losin' it babe, lol.

    :cryingwlaughter:

    Yes, losing it bad!!!

ETA: Badly, I meant "badly"... it's the adverb that ends in -ly right? right?!! Aaargh!!!

    Yes, hon. Badly. :therethere:

    Well, I tried.

    :groan:

ETA: I wonder how much a "rendering session" with Clay would go for at a gala auction?

Don't know. Since I didn't win a share of the recent $335 million lottery prize, I've had to give up on my personal daydream of actually going to the Gala and winning a bidding war against Spooky for an article of Clay's clothing or whatnot.

$100,000 for the t-shirt off Clay's back! A necktie for 50 grand! Reed's services as a cabana boy for the day even though I don't have a pool!

Ahem. Not gonna happen, sadly. :(
