  1. The lowest rate That I'm getting right now for my daughter and I is $159/night.

Never booked here before........is that pretty much an average rate (well obviously not from what I see in the posts above)....are they jacking it because of bookings...anyone know? It also says breakfast is included with the room....is the group brealfast at the hotel or outside ( on the 18th).....I think I'm developing a rash...eeeek!!!

Room booked and confirmed.............now to get there and get tickets for the gala...........the pressure...OMG.. :cryingwlaughter:

  2. When The Office first came out, the TV station sent me a survey and there was a clip of the show for me to watch...I hated it and told them so and have never seen it since.

I have never seen 30Rock...so I haven't a clue, but it better be good the night Clay is on...or else!!!!!! :hahaha:

My hubby is watcing a movie on TV right now, so I went in to watch it with him for a moment . It's called The Asteroid...something about a gigantic asteroid heading toward earth. So, I'm watching and I'm saying things like...ok, he's dead.....well that was a stupid move.......you know that explosive is going to backfire. Well, he asked me , very politely, to go away. Don't you just hate shows that are so predictable? I feel it is my duty to add commentary when it is a lame movie. :cocktail:

  3. Reading these last two pages has been an absolute relief to me because I finally am reading that someone else did NOT enjoy "Mama Mia"......my daughter and I went with great expectations because all our friends were saying"wow"( one of my friends went 8 times...good Lord). Well, I almost had to quit my job when I announced that both of us could not wait for it to end. My coworkers almost lynched me..... :hahaha: not really, I'm exaggerating a wee bit. I thought it would make a good stage musical but it didn't work on the big screen and it ruined the way I now look at Pierce Brosnan ..forever....................God, it feels good to get that off my chest. Thank you. FCA...WHAT A GREAT PLACE!!

The same thing with the Titanic.....my neighbour and I went to see it and we are coming out of the theater and everyone's crying and we're looking at each other going.."what the hey??". Then again we grew up in Halifax and that story had been told 5 million times at least so nothing was a shock to us...except that Leonardo was on the Titanic...who knew !!!! :hahaha::Iluvclaysbutt:

  4. Thanks for the video, Merrieeee..........yours has to be the only name I have to concentrate on when I'm typing, before I know it , I've overdone the e's. :cryingwlaughter: Anyway, I saw a Benehana video before but it was a little different from this one...there was a lot of "cycle" talk on the one I saw. This one's great too...he's such a clown at heart, I think!! :Iluvclaysbutt:

The new banner is "awesome" or should I say "eyesome"...naw, I shouldn't say that. Think I'll keep my day job. :cocktail:

  5. I hope everyone had a Happy Easter and ate at least one piece of chocolate. I had at least one piece...maybe more but who's counting right. I swear I'm going to start an exercise routine tomorrow....well, at least next week or sometime soon. :cocktail:

My daughter's here with the two grandchildren and the house looks like a herd of elephants passed through(egads!!!!)..........I'm SURE they had more than one piece of chocolate.

I'm so glad to see Scarlett checking in ......this is a GOOD Easter gift. Now if someone could just send some warm weather to the maritimes, I'd be abosolutely beholdin' to ya!!! we have a minus 5 windchill and snowflurries........Karen eh if your heading home bring your longjohns or at least your snuggies...it's freekin ' cold here....brrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!

  6. The comedic timing on Two And A Half Men is amazing.....WKRP was like that too...I can't help laughing at these shows. Fraser is another comedy that's well done.

Right now I love Criminal Minds...sometimes it's so close to reality it creeps me out. I love murder mysteries period, especially if they are hard to figure out. The only exception to that was Columbo...I loved how he drove people crazy with his investigations.
