I was rooting for Scott that year too....even though I knew they wouldn't let him get too far ( yeah, I believe the show is severely manipulated....don't know why...just a feelin' ) I really liked the sound of his voice. I haven't watched the show in ages. Any info I have on it comes from the boards or Google.( now there's a good source)

hey tribeca...there are a few nuts left over there but there are strange "people" on every board( I wouldn't call them fans...yuk !!)...that's what the scroll feature is for. Ignore them and eventually they will go and play somewhere else. Duh...I didn't mean to imply there are crazy fans on THIS board....yeesh !!!! it's really hard when you get both of your feet stuck in your mouth at once. My apologies.

I renewed my membership with no problem... I was confused for a minute ( nothing new there) because it tried to tell me I was getting a duplicate membership because I already belonged.......I was told to IGNORE THAT WARNING....I did and voila I'm in. ( and with only one membership, thank God !!!...whew :clay: ...I was worried cos it said no refunds) Now to get our man feeling better and singing again. Let's go Mr. Akin

David C must still have a label........is it possible that David A is the only one? Or am I completely misunderstanding what was said.....duh...that wouldn't be unheard of.

I really enjoyed reading your post,Scarlett. If Sir Paul can sing at the grammies then there is no reason why Clay couldn't sing . Well, yeah there's the whole Beatle thingy and the Sir thingy and the clout thingy...but other than that....shouldn't be anything to hold him back, other than the Clive thingy. What can I say, it sounded right in my head !!!

They can sing in the studio where there are all kinds of gadgets to make them sound oh,so fantastic but put them on a stage and there ain't one good voice between the three of them.However, when you've got great promotion and constantly screaming fans, who knows if they are singing or not. I remember an interview one time with the beatles where they admitted that at one venue they didn't sing one of their songs, just moved their mouths. The screaming was so loud, no one even noticed.( I liked the Beatles, by the way) But so goes a lot of the music stars of today. The Jonas Brothers together with Stevie Wonder.......ahhh, not sure about that combination....seems off to me. Just my two cents folks. I'm not watching the Grammies for no particular reason but maybe they could have a show sometime with artists actually singing words you can make out with music that doesn't rupture your eardrums.I had read somewhere that this Grammy show was going to be unique because they were doing it differently..........how'd they do?....did they achieve their goal? Good one KAndre......I'm afraid I can sing all the words to those songs too. Leader Of The Pack... that one's cemented in....duh!!! But that was in the day when you could actually make out what people were singing in these songs, you couldn't help but memorize them. They were imprinted in our memories...cheesy or not...forevah. How about Teen Angel.....Runaway.....I could go on but then these things will start ehoing in my brain and I'll be humming them all night.

Love that new emoticon. Where do you find all these cool emoticons? If it is on that HUGE, HUMUNGOUS list to the left of this screen...I'll never find it. Some of the things on that list only have a number...duh...are they special?..haven't had a chance to try them all out yet. That will take me eons....maybe longer. So much to learn but so little time because I'm always playing catch-up with the posts. Not complaining, mind you...just sayin' I'm s-l-o-w...............I guess.

I really enjoy Clay's blogs but if he doesn't blog my day doesn't come crashing in on me !!!!! I am so terrible at returning e-mails or even posting....sure I read the stuff I get or what's on the boards and think "I should get on that right now !!!".....doesn't often happen. I agree with smittenwithclay's thought on the matter........"but I cant say how easy it is for him, because Im not in his head...its hard for me not to give him the benefit of the doubt knowing 20 percent of the information."

Why do you think the first one is photoshopped? Definetely looks like his hands...to me anyway. No problem.....just wondering what is the trick to knowing real from fake? ......I mean other than the obvious when it's really badly done. In the second one the neck looked unusually long to me and I guess now looking at the first one, the hands are really huge compared to the head...but they look like Clay's hands. This stuff creeps me out......
