  1. Wow, the CV cellcert was amazing, I really loved everything he sang, even Mandy. Now, at least, we know he isn't going to just sing love songs that aren't gender specific.

Oh, I think they love boobies alright, it's the vaginas that don't appeal!

BWAH! canfly...that made me hoot out loud here at work! Thank you.

I'd love to take credit but the hoot was courtesy of Clay's Old Broad.

Hey, listen you! The only person who's allowed to call me Clay's Old Broad is me....and possibly Clay. So watchit!!!! :mallet:

  2. You know, for being a gay man, Clay sure is frisky with the womenfolk, isn't he?

That's what kept me from believing that he could be gay...that and dayum...the man loves hims some boobies.

    [ :cryingwlaughter:

you do know that is another sterotype of gay men? That they love women's boobies. It is the only thing in their relationships they don't have.

Oh, I think they love boobies alright, it's the vaginas that don't appeal! :hahaha:

  3. Oh...Clay Matron. Yes. That does make more sense.

I was saying it clayMAtron. Like some cyborg/robot/thingy.

    :hahaha:

    Sorry.

    me too!! lol

Hmmm....and I thought Claymatron was such a clever play on words, but alas... you guys are not alone. Many people have looked at me blankly when I said my name, and then you could see "the penny drop". I guess I never thought of that when I chose the name. But to me a Claymatron could be a huge machine...just producing perfect clones of the man. Of course, I would have to keep the original as a pattern...at least that's the way I figure it...if you know what I mean, and I think you do! :naughty2:

  4. Thanks for posting all the photos yesterday, ladies! I thought he looked pretty yummy in all of them. The group photo from the dinner is really great....do those ladies look happy or what? And, maybe since I'm a grandma, the après Spam pics all look fine to me. If they make him look older, well then I'd say he will age pretty darn well. I've never particularly liked Clay in glasses, but maybe his eyes needed a break from his contacts.

The only thing I want to do...I mean aside from having my wicked way with him...is re-tie that bowtie!! :hissy:

    OH....Good morning, FCA! :BlowKiss:

  5. I've come to the conclusion that no matter what happens, whether information is divulged, or withheld, someone, somewhere in the Claynation is going to have a shit-fit over it and make sure that everyone knows of their displeasure.

I'm glad the group had such a special evening and that Clay made that happen for them. He could have sent them out for dinner and dropped in briefly to shake hands and say hello. Instead he made it a special event and a memory that will last forever. They contributed a lot of money to the BAF...and yeah, I wish I could do that too, but we all do what we CAN do, so I'm not going to begrudge them that pleasure.

But dang, I was sure it was "well, now"! :split:

  6. I really believe Clay does not care what people think in his choice of clothes. Everyone has their own style and most of the time I like his quirky choices. I also believe the statements from the people that were there that he looked great.

Have you SEEN some of the people who complain about Clay?

Talk about the wart calling the hog ulgly.

And sometimes its just personal preferences. Some people think he looks hot in glasses. Some don't. Some love his clothes. Some don't. Some like his hair blonde. Some. Some like snowflake hair. Some don't. Some like the glasses and orange suit. Some don't. Someone somewhere probably even liked how look at the Chicago book signing! But some didn't!

    Different strokes for different folks!

Not to mention, anyone can look unattractive on any given day - and Clay is no exception. Its not really fair to diss the people who don't like how he looks and start calling them ugly. They are entitled to their opinion, as each of us are.

My mother would have said "Pretty is, as pretty does." Clay does! The others, not so much!

Funny you should say this. I commented to luckiest1 today at lunch about a well-known critic at CV...."My God, has she counted her chins lately?"

  8. Personally, I'm in the "he left the eye makeup on because of his contacts" league. I think his eyelashes were permanently darkened for the show and he didn't bother to remove the liner. If you look at the photos, his eyebrows are very light, which indicates to me that he did remove some of his makeup.

I wear contacts and I know you cannot remove eyeliner without taking the lenses out unless you want burning, tearing and unsightly red eyes. Period!

Aside from that, it ain't important in the large scheme of things. He's beautiful, he's wonderful, he's loverly and I freakin' miss him too much already!

  9. Merry Christmas, FCA! This is our quiet day, although we are going to visit friends for lunch. Our gift giving and big Christmas dinner will be on Sunday, when the whole family can get together at my son's and DIL's place. The grandkids are 10 and 12 now, so not quite as much fun as they used to be, but they are special kids in so many ways and still create the magic that is Christmas.

Hope you all enjoy the festivities (you too, CG! *g*)!

luckiest1, sorry I didn't get your calendar over to you. Today is gorgeous, but the weather has been so lousy this past week, that I couldn't even get to work 2 of the days, let alone drive to see you. Will try to get it to you before too long, at least as early as I can in the new year.

Oh, and thanks to you and goldarngirl for the Best of the Gala montages. I downloaded them from the CV vault last night...and they're WONDERFUL!!! What a lovely Christmas surprise!

  10. Why I didn't even attempt to go to work today...our road runs along beside the trees in the background.

One of the girls at work made these, hubby and I are both in Grinch-mode this Christmas, so I had to buy this...the base is made from those glass shower tiles and has a string of lights in it...too cute!

  11. Richard Chamberlain??? Thud!!!!!! Gahh!!!

You know I feel old......at the OFC there are people saying they have no clue who he is!!!

no idea who that is lol I even went to look at pictures and still have no idea..dont feel old..apparently he is awesome, so Im the one missing out :)

I have pretty much decided by now, but Ill share with you anyways..after some really awful stuff thats happened with my family, I was offered a job taking care of a friend of mine as her caregiver in Daly City, California...moving away from home and away from my family terrifies me, but a change may be a good thing..dont know how Ill do in California..talk about a culture shock from oregon haha

smitten :thbighug-1: I've been reading about your situation on CV and wanted to add my support in your decision to try the California opportunity. I think it will be a very good thing for you, but if it doesn't work out, at least you will have tried. It might give your family one less thing to worry about right now too and, at the same time, open up some doors for you. I think you need this!

Richard Chamberlain...be still my heart!! :lilredani: Dr, Kildare, Father Ralph (The Thornbirds)...sigh!! My very favourite mini-series with him was Shogun, though. I loved Anjin San...I think it might have been the beard...don't know why, but men, gay or straight, should all try growing one at least once....for me, if no one else! My single biggest regret was not seeing Clay at the first Raleigh Gala, pre-Afghanistan. (another sigh!)
