  1. Fell asleep last night hunched over my computer and tonight I won't be around because I'm going camping...... In the concrete jungle. Yes, We're camping out overnight because the tickets go on sale tomorrow for the State Theater and since it's my hometown, or used to be, there is no way I'm sitting in row freaking 18 like I had to last year. Thank heaven it's going to be warm tonight. :xmas07a:
  2. And I'm so forgetful that I didn't remember meeting Playbiller, who said: HK Entertainment is the promoter who sponsored the West Point Christmas Show last year.
  3. Hee! I just threw away a printer that hasn't worked for two years and when I moved the printer table, I discovered that picture taped on a ruler with the words 'Mr. Sex on a stick' taped on. Memories of the first Musikfest. Beautiful grandbaby, Caro *waves to stpteach*. The Eagles racked up 56 points today against the undefeated Lions. I don't know, Claygasm, I think it was a fluke. We need some picures: Lucky bitch lady The very first Tonight Show appearance The very first Kimmel The very first platinum record. Just ignore the corpse on the left. The very first picture of the Treasure Trail EEEEEEEEE!!! I'm now a body guard. Does that mean I get to ravish protect Clay's body?
  4. Be careful what you ask for. But! I know who jmh is and I'm not telling (/sing-songy voice) Am I the only one who doesn't think that Clay picks Q&A's songs from scratch? I think they come up with a few that they'd like to do and Clay picks from those. Yeah, I know he said he picks them, but...... Tonight I watched two hours of AI Rewind. They did a two hour retrospective of the entire Season One. The first hour was the Top Ten, the second hour was just Kelly and Justin. Justin did some new interviews for it, but Kelly didn't so they spliced in her old AI interviews to fit the narrative. Then they ran the ad for Season Two and showed a lot of Clay. Day-um, I missed both chats.
  5. How to say this??? I think it's really nice of Clay to post the memoriam. He feels comfortable enough with us and he thinks highly enough of us and he trusts us enough that he is sharing his pain and sorrow. He could have kept this quiet, he could have just let things go on as usual, but he took the time out of his day to let us know that he and his family were in mourning.
  6. I totally forgot about chat. I know you were all wondering where I was. I was......nowhere. Just sitting here, playing on-line games and feeling sad for Clay. {{{ The McGhee family and friends }}}
  7. Loving the poetry. I love this, too Bwahahahaha, that describes all you bitches wonderful ladies, but not me, I'm pure as the driven snow.
  8. jmh, I really appreciate that you compiled those 'ultimate' collections and have given such good audio suggestions over the past years. Last night, I had to buy another Italian Charm watch. My battery died and instead of replacing it for $7.00 or $8.00, I just buy a new watch on e-bay. Anyway, the new fashion is that most of the watches have something on the faces, a cartoon, a sports team logo, etc. All I wanted was a plain one, so I purchased a 'mood' face, one that should change color with your body temperature. Except about 3 minutes after I bid, I found a plain black face with numbers instead of lines so I wanted that one and bid as well. All night I kept hoping that the other person would bid higher then me on the first watch. Nope. I won the 'mood' watch and I won the black watch.
  9. Geesh! The thighs! The thighs! The thighs just killed me dead. Or should I say squeezed me dead. And that one Knoxville laughing picture where Clay's has his elbows on his knees? I RC&SA so FREAKIN' fast! Looks like the Eagles will lose tonight *sigh*
  10. Quick hit until I catch up. For all the Texans on the board: ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ A very gentle and elderly Texas lady was driving across a high bridge in Texas one day. As she neared the top of the bridge, she noticed a young man fixin' (ready) to jump. She stopped her car, rolled down the window and said, " Please don't jump, think of your dear mother and father." He replied, "Mom and Dad are both dead; I'm going to jump". She said, "Well, think of your wife and children." He replied, "I'm not married and I don't have any kids" She said, "Well, think of the Alamo." He replied, "What's the Alamo?" She replied, "Well, bless your heart, just go ahead and jump, you dumb ass Yankee." ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ From my brother, the Houstonite.
  11. Yea for jmh for getting through some more stuff! I moved in 2000 and there are still boxes that I haven't opened shoved into closets since the move. Oye. Wanna come up and help?? {{{ Caro }}} Off to work. Another day, another dollar.
  12. Sally said 'God damned'. I could hear the God before they bleeped her out. Good for America Ferrerra! I started watching Ugly Betty this summer. I'm going to have a hard choice this fall, Survivor or Ugly Betty. Day-um.
  13. *waves* I think the stage-in-the-round is wasted. I feel bad for the people who have to look at everyone's ass all night. Well, unless it was Clay's ass. Ooo! Patrick Dempsey! I met him on GMA when Clay was on. He's better looking in person than on TV. I barfed when Conan won for writing. I mean, how hard it is to write homophobic jokes? Morons. Bastards. Go, Jon Stewart! Tony Bennett sounded great, Xtina? Not so much and really love her voice.. I thought the dancers really distracted from the performance. I think Seacrest is doing a good job. *ducks*
  14. I find it so hard to understand some of the banter. The Emmys suck so far, except for Roots. O.o. I killed FCA...................
  15. But didn't Clay say something about buying shoes a size bigger in that Canadian interview with the blonde girl? It was pretty early in his career and the interview was in six or so parts.
  16. Duckyvee said: Hard decision. Do you mean actual Philly tickets to the World Series or watching it on TV? And are you talking about the first game or the 7th game? See? See? I'm prevaricating already! What can I say...it's CLAY!!! Scarlett asked: Like Gonzo? Jamar said: I can smut on the boards but when I see Clay in concert, I can't take my eyes off his face long enough to look anywhere else, he's just that beautiful to me. Or what Clayzor said: Yep, that's me. Bookwhore, I can see Clay kicking a Waldo doll off to the side. I don't think he wants to go there, especially if kids are in the audience. At least not so blatently. I think he's more into innuendo and subtlety than outright dick references :lmaosmiley-1: Clayzor, what happend to the Rebels board? Scarlett, is that Reading Terminal Market in Reading PA?? Because if so, you were 45 minutes away from meeeeeeeeeee!!!!
  17. Day-um, the tractor's mighty sexy and so's the ClayWhore riding it. And I've parked on that grassy driveway, not once, but twice! And yes, the yard is spectacular, so's the inside of the house. Books. That's all I'll say. Speaking of ice cream, I fell in love with fat-free frozen yogurt. On Weight Watcher's it has saved my life. Turkey Hill made a Peach/Mango that was out of this world. Then they discontinued it, the fuckers. Idiots. KeepingFaith said: I think that describes 99% of, if not the fandom, at least this board Oh, yeah, baby! About feeling left out or 'on the outside'. I have friendships, good friendships, with a few posters on this board and I know a lot of you from other boards, but I can see how some people might feel 'on the outside'. I think we've all felt 'on the outside' at one time or another in our posting lives. Lilyshine said: What a freaking weekend that was. Four of the west coasters coordinated their schedules so they all flew into Newark within two hours of each other and I picked them up. After we got back to my town, we made a bagel stop and a booze stop. Heh. We bought the booze store out! On the way back to my house, we saw the bus and did a two-wheeler into the parking lot, circled the bus laughing our asses off, then drove two blocks to my house. The ages of the fans at my house ranged from 20 to either the 50's or 60's, I don't remember, but we had a blast. One of the California girls father passed away on Saturday and we drove frantically around trying to get her home, but airlines don't do bearevement flights anymore, at least not the small one by my house, but it was all good, she had the support of her friends and got home the next day, on schedule. She recently got married. Bottlecap's talking about veggies...are you on Weight Watchers? I've been eating so many freaking veggies, I'm starting to look like an ear of corn. Booksmart, I'd love to get a pedicure. Problem is, I won't let anyone touch my feet. Guess that leaves me out, huh? Playbiller, yes, you do have spelling errors, or just putting the letters in the wrong order, but your posts are so interesting, I don't even notice them anymore. AnAmeraikenInTX said: You rang?
  18. jmh said: Aaaaand.....she keeps on rubbing it in *sniff, sniff* I'll get you, my pretty..........and your little dog, too!
  19. Lilyshine said: Heh. I've seen her tractor. It ain't sexy, but that iris garden might be. Heh. Jamar said: The higher the stage and the lower cut the top, the more Clay will come to your side of the audience Muski, I know JUST what you mean about 'End of the Road' and Jacob singing. I thought the exact same thing, wow, Jacob sounds great on this......then Clay started singing. No freaking comparison. None what-so-ever. Jazzgirl asked: I'm an older fan but there hasn't been one moment since that day in 2003 when Clay came out to sing 'Always and Forever' that my feelings towards him were anything like those of a mother, aunt, or sister. Of course, I've never felt protective towards him, either. I've alway felt that he's a big boy and he can protect himself. Even during his vertigo episodes. I remember friends and fans would gasp and clutch at each other when he grabbed his stool or the mic for balance and I felt.....nothing like that. I just think that if Clay was so sick that he couldn't go on, he'd have cancelled. Don't get me wrong, I felt bad that he had to go through that because I kind of have it every day for the past 20 years and it ain't fun, but I didn't go all into protective mode. Which, I guess, sometimes makes me feel as if I just don't fit in with the majority of this fandom. Especially lately. I have found myself, in the past month or so, mainly readng and doing very little posting. Maybe it'sjust a phase that I'm going through, I don't know. jmh said: Go ahead, rub it in *sniff* Hershey Special Dark is da Bomb!
  20. Very interesting discussion the past several pages. Here's my take: I don't know enough about it to really make an informed opinion. At least, I don't know enough to get all hot and bothered over it. I consider it interesting, but eventually it will be a footnote in the history of Clay and his fandom. Now I'm ready for some smut. Or pictures. One of my absolute favorites. Look at that torso An oldie but goodie Caption this The first time Clay ever talked to me
  21. That was on GMA when he was on with the NYC firefighters who made a calendar. Reportedly, every female eye in the studio was on Clay while he was just standing there, minding his own business.
  22. Had to quick skim b/c I'll never catch up on 30 plus pages. Food: Best food in the world is Hog Maw, aka Pig's Stomach. It's a Pennsylvania Dutch staple and is the yummiest food EVAH! Liver: Yum-O Angst: What really bugs the shit outta me? When posters with definate opinions, you know the ones, they're always putting their 'expert' 2 cents in no matter what the topic, post in such a definative way that it seems they are always right, even if the only facts they have are the same facts that everyone else has. And if you question them, they get all up in your face and huff and puff and try to blow your house down because they are ALWAYS RIGHT, even if it's JUST their opinion, and if you try to offer a differing opinion, they shoot you down in a condesending condecending condescending way. However you spell that word. I don't think I explained that very well. Tyra pictures: There are times that I think Clay is the most physically beautiful man I've ever seen. Even when he's not. I forgot about boobgate! Is it bad that the first thing I did was get someone to photoshop my face over Mezghan's face? OMG, the charts and explanations and insistance that that photo was photoshopped was so funny. My little home board, Clayton's Place, we were high-fiving everyone and exclaiming that we got nipple on SNL and boobys were the icing on the cake. Good times.
  23. Just watched that YouTube Happy Birthday clip. Even back then, Clay had REALLY big..........................feet.
