I'm just curious what he's doing in NYC lol No bath because I don't have a plug on my drain. I could always settle for a shower nap though! Or just soaking my feet would be nice too. I've been assigned to the men's department so that's all I work on, and most of it ends up being backstocked. I told someone else I got lucky I wasn't assigned to misses or juniors cause then I'd be drooling all over the merchandise and spending my paycheck in my head before I even get it! haha

Clay looks good there. Can't wait to see it! May I just say OW. Work is going well, I was put in replenishment so my shift starts at 5am..my body clock has yet to adjust!! And my muscles too! Today was my first day of replenishment training and I didn't think there'd be so much physical labor. lol I need it though so I won't complain! I'm scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday so Sunday I'd like to sleep!!

Downtown and midtown Detroit are great, really safe and lots more to see and do than people think. It's the neighborhoods that are bad, and don't watch the news. lol I only ever knew muski's name from the boards but so sorry to her and her family.

Very interesting range of thoughts this morning. Not being at the gala skews what I think he meant via what's been coming through in reports but I'm still optimistic! Every day I'm leaning towards that he's going into acting, and possibly Broadway. That's a career change and it's not leaving the business!

Quiet works for me with having more on my plate lately. lol I have the wedding to go this evening so I hope to come home to red reports!

I'm in waiting mode... I had a job interview on Sunday and if I'm hired I'm supposed to get a call today, so I'm anxious for that. I have a concert I can't wait for tomorrow night, one of my most favorite bands ever and I have M&G passes!! Friday will be a chill day so I guess I'll be around the boards wondering what's up at the gala and Saturday I have an uncle's wedding! To all those headed out to the gala, safe travels and have a great time!!

I've been in a balloon once when I was little, someone rented it for our family reunion so they kept it tied up to keep it from really going anywhere but it was cool! I'd go for a full ride if I ever got an opportunity. Of the non-Clay related things on that list I want, it's the LOTR Lego set... I would have SO much fun with that!!

Cut out a lot, I know, but really just wanted to reply to this bit.. some stations are making it harder to view their content online. I know AMC works this way, I tried to watch a show on there and it wanted me to pick a cable provider in order to get access, unfortunately the one I have doesn't have a deal with them and I was blocked out. Hulu does this to an extent too, if you don't have a Plus account and you want to watch a FOX show the day after it airs, you need to connect a cable/satellite provider to your Hulu account to access the show.

I was thinking we might not hear anything till around Christmas, or possibly even 2014. If that's the case, there's still about 3 months till we get anything.

Just been reading all the opinions over here the past few days and I have to say I love everyone's calm, rational posts. So much more refreshing to see than what I've been trying to avoid elsewhere all week! And everyone's saying what I'm feeling so I find myself just nodding along and agreeing with it all! That said... TV is my current sad obsession. LOL Every fall it gets this way though! I watched the pilot of Sleepy Hollow and the production and acting side is absolutely brilliant! I was extremely disappointed in the overall plot line and for that reason I've decided not to watch. Shame too, I was really hoping for something different. Breaking Bad.... everyone I know LOVES this show, except me. I've seen a few episodes from somewhere in the middle and I guess it's one of those shows you need to sit down and watch from the beginning. I really couldn't get into it though. New shows I'm watching? Doesn't feel like many I'm really interested in.. watched The Goldbergs this week and it met expectations! The idea reminded me a bit of That 70's Show in that it's in another decade (and I loved that show), totally different premise of course but it did really well not having to force the 80s into everything. I'm really looking forward to Once Upon A Time in Wonderland, mainly because of all the new characters they're bringing in! And I like that there's 2 worlds of OUAT now, just wonder how many crossovers they'll get to do. Us & Them is the last of those I'm really excited about, won't air till mid-season though. It's an adaptation of BBC's Gavin & Stacey. I'll watch the pilot to see what it's like but I dunno how I'll like it, might just watch Gavin & Stacey instead. Or in addition to. We'll see. Most of what I'm watching is returning shows... Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, New Girl, Parenthood, Elementary (this is fun watching a different Sherlock from Benedict Cumberbatch's, which I got REALLY into over the summer), Arrow, Boardwalk Empire, Downton Abbey (season premiere was last week in the UK and I found way to watch it..ooh they set up some wicked plot lines to unfold!!!!)... the last ones I'm waiting on are from across the pond and I just need air dates (except the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary--Nov 23rd!!!! eee!!)... these last couple shows BBC put in their fall drama 2013 trailer but who knows if it'll make it to air in 2013! I'm waiting on Sherlock and The Escape Artist. They're not making things easy for me!

Will chips and dip do? We just made some french onion dip this evening... good stuff!

Catching up with everyone's posts and I gotta say I agree with everything that's been said, and I'm glad I'm not alone in how I feel. I've pulled back on some of the intensity I had in my personal fandom for Clay this past year, but I've also really found out who I am and what I need and want to do in my life and have started to act on it. I've found it's hard to have a fandom with a busy life but it's nice to come on here and get everything that's going on minus the drama! I appreciate all the efforts of those of you who bring things over. Happy birthday aikim!! And congrats on the promotion!

More times than not when Clay is ambiguous in his plans and all the joy in the fandom turns to angst, my personal experience is once the final plans are out in the open and once he's acting on said plans, everything is cool. I've learned a lot being a fan of Clay over the years, and worrying is just one thing I can't do (and don't have the time for anymore...). Waiting though, that's definitely one thing I've learned how to do. So I'll just sit and wait and once we know what he's doing, everything will be cool again. luckiest what an amazing opportunity for your daughter!! I'm going to be straight up honest and say that I am extremely jealous! (I'm dying for a London and Cardiff trip right now LOL) Good luck to both of you, her on all her adventures and you for surviving a while without her!

That is weird, merrieeee, I never heard that there already was a male voiced Siri! lol I just found out another tip, if you want the bold type back, you can get it by going to settings > general > accessibility and when you scroll it'll give you an option to turn on bold font. It does ask you to restart your phone though. I don't feel like trying it out right now to see what it's like but some other time maybe I will, I'm kinda curious.

Jumping in just on the iOS 7 discussion, cause I'm still staying far away from the speculation gerbil wheel.... I REALLY like it. Most everyone I've talked to yesterday and today say they hate it! I don't get why... yes the interface has had a HUGE and drastic change but I like how clean everything looks now. I also heard it described as "bright" and it is that too. The new look of the system doesn't bother me, I am just totally in love with all the features!! I thought I found all the new stuff yesterday but tonight on the news gave away a couple other things I hadn't discovered yet, like you can finally see all the times on your texts by swiping to the left. Another one of the features, and I don't know if anyone has gotten to see it in action yet, SUPPOSEDLY if you are male, Siri will talk in a male voice, if you're female Siri didn't change. You can go into your settings and pick which one you want though (I've seen it but haven't changed it). I tested Siri yesterday and I got the original female voice but when a male radio host tested it this morning he got the male voice. I'm really in love with the new lock screen... I can access both the notification center and the new control center and now I can use larger photos too! I have a really artistic crop on my new lock screen photo now. LOL
