Finally I have time to actually catch up rather than a quick fly by! My DD and my DH were both here this weekend because it was our 40th wedding anniversary! I used to joke and say he'd better be good or he might not make it .......well that is not so funny any more. We had a nice late lunch on my DD and she gave us two beautiful Waterford flutes in ruby glass. You know coke tastes really good in them! I have been amiss in wishing everyone a Happy Birthday. I see them but actually having the energy to post anything more than a quickie has eluded me for a while. I am feeling much better now, just in time for guests to come in a couple of weeks! Oh joy! Unfortunately it is not Clay so i'll just have to grin and bear it. That means my weekend with the girls is "right out" because I have waaay to much to get done. Oh well! Sorry! So Happy Birthday to all who have celebrated recently.

OOOOH! I can! I can! And it's 'x' rated, too! I think I wrote a little fiction once based on those pics of Clay in a recording studio, next to a piano and mixing board and such.... Ha I didn't need to even look and see who wrote that post! eta: You know Clay, recording studio and cool in the same sentence sounds so good together!

Ok so Clay Aiken is at a recording studio in NY! Now why would he be there? Gosh I can't possibly imagine. (eeeeeeeeee)

How's that new car? Thanks for asking. I really like it. The best thing about a new car is knowing as you drive off the lot you don't have to do that again for a few more years....but wait. What was I doing on Saturday? Yep looking for a new car! My DD decided to buy a new one and of course needed our help. So off we go to the dealers! Arrgghh!! At least she only went to 3 and bought the first car she looked at. She got a Nissan Cube which is adorable. Now all I need is my DH to tell me he wants a new one and I will go crazy! Bye the way thanks for all the Birthday wishes. I was too busy celebrating to comment before! (Ha ha)

Ok where are our resident smutters? I am so pure I couldn't possibly comment!

I have a funny story from yesterday while the guy was setting up my system, in my car. The contact list from my phone is stored in my car so all I have to do is push a button on the steering wheel and say call whoever! My contact list has Clay Aiken listed and when the list showed up on the dashboard Clay's name was right near the top! The guy wanted to know if that was the real Clay Aiken and said yes he texts me I did go on to explain about it wasn't just me and he then said he is a really good singer! All in all yesterday was a good day.

Mileage, mileage that car gets mileage...who knew!! Hee! I'm more interested in the "stuff" inside. Actually It will average between 27 to 31 on the highway so it is about 6 miles better than the car I had before. My DH just called and is more excited than I am that I did this on my own. He knew I was looking but had no idea I was going out to actually buy one today. He has major health issues and this cheered him up no end. Now what kind of a man gets all happy that his wife went out and spent thousands of dollars on a new car (and sold his car to boot)! We will be married 40 years in 3 weeks. I told him this was my anniversary present and he got...wait for it...Madden 10 for his XBox! I think that was more than fair!

Well here's my new babee and guess what I finally told my DH I'd bought it! Well I'm back.......had to go for a little ride! OMG I plugged my iPod in the USB Port and I told the car to play Clay Aiken and it wanted to know which song so I said OMWH of course. Freaking unreal!

Hee I was a big girl but because I didn't work for the first 25 years of our marriage I had no individual credit rating! But now I'm dangerous! I bought a Lincoln MKZ. I'm loving it. It's purdy and has something called THX cinema surround sound so Clay sounds real nice. I'll post a pic later if you want to see.

Hee I am so excited! I just bought a new car....all by myself. My DH hasn't seen it or anything and it's all on MY credit! I have wanted to be able to do that for years but they always wanted a co-signer but no more!!! One of the great things on this car is that it has a hard drive....oh yess....I can play a CD and save it to the car. Guess which one I put in and saved first?

Isn't he just gorgeous? There are a million pics of him out there yet this one just grabs me. I could stare at it all day. Something (or someone) is doing this boy man good...very good.
