Lots of adrenaline going on I'm sure. I think that applies to Clay as well. I'm sure he is just as excited as the fans are. I think I would still prefer waiting for awhile to go. However, that is not looking like an option this time. So, I might get to actually experience an opening night concert. I enjoy watching all the clack of the opening night. I have never had an unpleasant experience with other fans. I've never not been able to watch the concert or hear, because of tall fans or signs, or screaming. I have always had a good time. I've never given anyone a hard time or had anyone give me one. I don't look for a lot of standing this time. Or any signs. This type concert usually doesn't lend itself to that kind of behavior. Actually, ducking here, I think I might miss not being able to stand and whoop and holler. I would love to hear your stories Ansamcw. Maybe you could PM me with some, so we don't derail the party planning. LOL I guess you would have to ask The Pod People how to get on the Viral Marketing list. They sure love to tell anybody that will listen that I am one. EDITED per jmh123's suggestion. "Cause I like her.
  2. I'm not experiencing any stress yet. Still waiting for the remainder of the venues to be posted. pkmiller, I am hoping there might be a tour in Kansas City. He has done several tours there. I will confess this, though. TeeHee....I was sooooo hoping that Nokia was not going to be the first tour venue. I really prefer to see Clay, when he is in his 2nd week of touring. By this time he has most of the bugs worked out, most of the lyrics memorized, and he isn't sick YET.... Yes, I know that sounds so non fan girly. :medium-smiley-070: But it is the truth. OMG the blame game. Will it never end? :mixed-smiley-011: Here is an idea ban all the POD PEOPLE at the OFC. Oh wait. We know that doesn't work. Momo anyone? I like to refer to her as Sybil and all her multiple new screen names. Oh I mean personalities. In case anyone here is not in the loop. I, and a few others, are RCA Viral Marketeers Extraordinaire. I am contemplating putting that in my siggie at OFC so everyone will know, including Clay. Trouble is RCA keeps forgetting to send me a paycheck. I don't work for free. HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY................
  3. Welcome to pkmiller............... Holy cow. Talk about sticker shock!!! Last night I went and made sure my PayPal had current credit card info. Made sure my Ticketmaster account was ready to go. Then I went to some Broker sites looking for Clay Aiken at Nokia tickets. *YIKES* The closest seat I could find for him on numerous sites was 10th row. Starting at $315.00-$400.00 EACH. One site had a $75.00 service fee for each ticket on top of the ticket price. I wasn't expecting that. Sorry but I'm not paying that for 10th row. Front row center maybe, but not 10-11-12 row. I can do that well on OFC pre-sale. I have got 7th row from that before. Silly me, I thought 400.00 would by me a pair of tickets, not just one. My partner in crime is not going to be able to buy the one from me now and I am not buying two and taking a chance of not selling the other. Not at those prices. Well, as I said before, this is my first time even considering buying scalper tickets from brokers. I'm thrilled Clay commands that kind of money but I think I may have to take my chances, and go another route.
  4. Well, I was hoping that the remainder of the tour dates would be posted by now. *sigh* I am only going to one concert, more than likely, so I'm going for quality. If I can get it. Since there is no danger of me winning a meet and greet from the OFC tickets, I 'm going to use a broker for the first time. I figure front row is like a meet and greet. Especially at the Nokia. I hear you can touch the stage from front row. I hope you all get together in Philly. Congrats on making the list DivaYenta. I never bought multiple tickets to the same concert. I see a lot of fans who engage in this practice, but it isn't for me. I'm too afraid. :medium-smiley-070: What if you get stuck with all of them? That's like taking a match to your money. I have better things to do with my money than to just throw it away. Like getting to buy more of Clay's merchandise. Or perhaps use it for another concert ticket. I am married to a very frugal man so maybe that is where I get it. It matters not if we can afford things, it's the principal don't you know? HaHaHa muski you cracked me up talking about your hubby hiking his britches up at the ball games. LOL
  5. cha cha, I think you found the positive in that photo. LOL Clay is sporting new flip flops. I don't have a clue why he is in LA. Maybe he is getting his ducks in a row, to unveil some of his upcoming surprises for us.
  6. Could we please hold funeral services for the bucket hat and those shorts. Could we, huh, could we? You know? If you weigh 300 pounds you probably shouldn't wear spandex pants or a mini skirt. It goes to reason, that you shouldn't wear long baggy shorts if you are tall, lanky thin, and you're chalk white to boot. He reminds me of my husband. He could care less what anybody thinks and doesn't give a rat's patootie what he looks like when he leaves the house. He likes to hunt for the most wrinkled article of clothing he can find. One with a couple of holes in it or a big old stain. It's a good thing I love both of these men. :F_05BL17blowkiss: :medium-smiley-070:
  7. Just popping in to say welcome to cha cha trusty. Hee I didn't know you had your own site. I need to get out more. Too many boards and not enough time.
  8. Awww, muskifest that made me tear up reading about your laptop. I just feel so bad for you. I really hope they find the culprit doing this. Georgia I am sending a hug your way. Hope you feel better soon.
  9. I guess Nokia, in Dallas, is my best shot so far. I think it is about 6-6 1/2 hours to drive. I'm so excited to finally have a tour. I keep thinking he will have to have something in Kansas City. He usually tours there. I want to buy broker tickets for front row, if I can. So I guess a lot will depend on which venues are NOT membership driven. I am not going to buy expensive broker tickets, and then add the cost of an airline ticket, plus lodging on top of that. Don't plan to spend a grand for a concert. No matter who it is, or even though I can. So I want a venue that I can drive in 8 hours. Of course with the price of gas, it could end up being cheaper to fly. :medium-smiley-070: My contest story, I played around with just for fun, is stupid and not worthy of posting here. It is posted over at Clayton's Place and at Rebels For Clay Aiken, somewhere, if you want to go look for it. :em0100: Count me as a luckiest1 fan. I love to read her. Now it is time to get ready for work......
  10. I kind of figured the scandal contest was just Clay venting, all along. I didn't take it seriously and had no intention of entering it. However, that didn't stop me from putting something together. Of course me being me, it is completely tasteless. Would never fly on OFC or probably anywhere else.
  11. :F_05BL17blowkiss: Hey shady. *waves madly* I forget to mention Clayton's Place in my introduction. It is full of smart, sexy, women.
  12. luckiest1. I hope you have a great time in Raleigh. Take pictures if you can. :medium-smiley-070: I am just now getting out and checking the boards. Why am I not surprised the OTT people are making emoticons, in Clay's blog, the topic of conversation.
  13. Thanks for the warm welcome. This is going back a few pages, but I must give a shout out to jmh123 for this post. I laughed my hiney off. OMG it was hysterical. muskifest I'm glad your doggy is doing better. fullyfunctional, A great post. That pretty much mirrors my opinions, as well. Claygasm, great name, I am riveted by your avatar. I have got to the point where I like to do stuff just to tick some people off. I detest fan policing and people trying to thumb their nose up at others. It is such a turn off. As are the POD PEOPLE and their phonograph with the stuck record that never seems to be able to STFU. :pod: Everyone should come here for this reason alone. I love emoticons. You have some great ones here. Hee. I'm like a kid in a toy store. Somebody stop me. Sometimes a picture is just worth a thousand words. Let's see. So far Clay had spelling errors in his blog, and had the audacity to use the dreaded dancing fruit emoticon? Did I miss anything? But I literally when I saw his blog and his first post. He's just the greatest. I laughed so hard at his post. I love it when he does that. You know, pokes funs at his fans? It's such a turn on. :F_05BL17blowkiss:
  14. Hello. I posted in the newbie introduce yourself thread. So I am ready to make a post. I am on my way out the door to go have a son "fix", but if it is alright, I wanted to come here and Eeeeee over Clay's blog and post. Was that not just the greatest thing evah? What a remarkable young man he is. Taking advantage of everything, is right. I just love him so much. Thanks. I'll be back.
  15. Hi. I'm Clayzorback. A little birdie told me about this place and invited me to check it out. I have been reading here, for the last couple of days. I see a lot of like minded. I hope I will be welcomed to post here. I've been around since the beginning. First board I found was The Clayboard. Lurked for a year. Didn't post there, because it was too religious for my taste. I found All Things Clay Aiken and started posting there. It changed into RHT and then I left there and found Rebels For Clay Aiken. Now there was a board I could relate to. I love the ladies there. Too bad after the EZBOARD hacking, that that board's members mostly just went their own way. There are still a few of us left, though. I then joined and now mainly post at Clay's OFC. I love Clay Aiken. I'm opinionated, but I like fun, snark, and perving as well. I love me some Clay Aiken. I see many posters here that I have enjoyed reading at the Clackhouse. So I just wanted to drop in to say, I like what I see here. I have always used FCA for links to fansites, but never noticed you had a message board here. So there you have it in a nutshell. :pod: What a relief. I didn't think we were safe from them, anywhere.
