I really love that Clay is comfortable enough with the fandom to tease us in his blog. We know how much he loves to tease his friends so it seems like he is comfortable enough to just be himself with us. Oh, and he's really, really good at it!

No, don't panic. The tour schedule is listed at the fanclub but has not been announced publicly, yet. The venues have to wait until they have confirmation from Clay's management before they put Clay up on their websites. I would expect to see a press release soon. The fanclub did mention that the concert promoters were in Houston & the entire company had to evacuate so that may be slowing things down, also.

I swear I will never complain about gas prices again! Gas is ~$3.30/gallon here & I've don't plenty of complaining. I decided to see how much gas is in New Zealand so I did the conversion. READY.... $5.94245/gallon I think I'm still in shock!

Wow, all three of those pins are fantastic. I think I prefer the gold over the silver because you can see the white on the hat better. I hope you will do the Good News pin as well because I absolutely have to have 1 (or several). I've not been very impressed with many of the pins with Clay pictures on them but man that one is amazing! eta: I am not very visual so I went back & looked at the 2 FCA pins. The gold one also highlights the lettering much better.

What about the white t-shirt with the bobby pin still on it. I've been enjoying watching Clay on Insider mostly because he looks like he's having fun. I love watching Clay have fun. That's why I like going to multiple shows. He always looks like he's having a blast & he takes me right along with him. There is a message at OFC explaining that there is currently no more pre-sale info because the concert promoters are based in Houston & the entire company has had to evacuate. They will/may have more info on Monday.

EEEEEEE! Can I say I LOVE my job! I don't even have to worry about the penquin's waddle cause I can waddle with the best of 'em. Love the skits. I'm out of town with minimal comp. access so I'm a bit behind on the boards. I sure hope Clay never succombs to pressures to change his sense of humor. I've always loved the voice but it was the "What's Up Buddy" Jaded Journalist interview that took me over the edge to 'the dark side.' I'm really loving that he is feeling more comfortable snarking on his fans. It just makes him more entertaining for me. And couchie, I had both hands up there too. Hee! And what's this about before & after collar pics. If it's what I'm thinking I'm not surprised at all. I don't think I've ever seen Clay with that many buttons undone except in prof. photoshoots.

Wow, I didn't realize how long I've been gone from here. I just caught up and I love the on-going skit. This : made me laugh til I cried. You really have a gift bottlecap. I love all the questions you posed. I've had several of those thoughts myself especially how Clay can do Paul McCartney's head shake and sing so well. I mean it's one thing to have that natural mannerism but to learn to do it must be really really hard. I also wonder how Clay felt before the first show at Tom's River. Did he wonder if we were still out here waiting for his return? Did he worry about how the fans would react to his Jerry Lee Lewis or Elvis or Ricky Martin? Would the fans laugh at his attempts? I went to a Clay get together yesterday & we watched a dvd of the tour. What I want to know is why do we scream when Clay takes a step to his right during the Pip back-ups. I find it amusing but I bet Clay thinks it's hysterical. During the AC 8/31 show when Clay scolded those who tried to steal his line during the 70's banter was priceless. Watching the clack from that is jaw-droppingly funny because he tells us to keep those hands up & we (or many of us) do it. We (or many of us) are so sheep when it comes to Clay's commands. I think it is one of my favorite concert memories. Hearing Clay scold us & explain to the JBT virgins that he ignores people who try to steal his punch line & then saying "You people who have been to more than 1 show, You know this! Don't steal my punchline!" I've been wanting him to do this from the first time I heard people yelling out. It was priceless! Now if he had just been able to scold the screamers during quiet songs or the yells of "Take it off" during WDC it would have been perfect. I loved the last show's pranks. None of them seemed over-the-top. Though I would love to know how Clay managed to bite Angela's hand while Quiana was squeezing his nose & still be able to sing. The man has even more gifts than I thought. However, the absolute best one was the girls finally getting Clay back. He certainly looked like he had no idea that silly string attack was coming. The timing was perfect! Loved you blog entries couchie, you are a wonderful writer. buzzie & SkateJoy your pictures are, as always, amazing!

Anyone who enjoys the 'goofing off' trio during the 60's medley, run don't walk to download Scarlett's video from Toledo. It is up at ATCA I belly laughed & then applauded. Good thing no one else is home. Warning, if you don't like the goofing off don't watch this video!

Ansa, I tried to pick out a quote or two from your post & I couldn't. I found I wanted to quote the whole thing. Everything you said it spot on. I can't believe how incredibly challenging this show must be. I certainly can't refuse to allow Clay & company to be giddy occasionally. Now it really isn't fair of me to say that without saying this. I think I enjoy the 'bloopers' almost as much (maybe even more) than the 'perfectly' performed pieces. I love Clay's expression when he hit the wrong key on the piano at Musikfest. I LOVE all the teasing with all of the performers (especially Angela ) The fact that we can have clack of all these unique moments is more than I could have hoped for. I'm sure I will eventually make a DVD of all the 'outtakes' because I find them so endearing. It's those moments I feel we get to see a bit of the 'real' Clay. Um, that would be a yes, me! One of my favorite clips from the AI2 show was when they were at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences & Clay was speaking to the audience. He said he was from Raleigh & one person cheered. Almost instantly he responded with "Yes!, but if you are here who's back home." That moment could be blamed for this obses.... er hobby for me. After that clip I watched the jaded journalist clips & that's all she wrote. I love a man with a quick wit & impeccable comedic timing. bottlecap, I'm glad you enjoyed the show.

Be still my Clangela lovin' heart. I thought the Clelly was sweet but there is just something sooooo captivating about Clay and Angela. Their playfulness on stage reminds me of my early twitterpatted days with my husband 20+ years ago. Realistically I doubt there is much going on off stage but it's sure fun watching them anyway.

It does say here that any Clique can't be held liable but the person violating copyright can be banned. They are trying to cover their own behind legally with that clause. I suspect it would be next to impossible for Clique to police the board for copyright infringement but at least now the people doing it can be banned. The new rules include not posting any rumors, thus the rumors & speculation threads are no more. As bottlecap said the mods can now edit or delete any post & they can suspend or ban anyone at the sole discretion & neither the mods nor management are required to give an explanation for any banning. You can almost "hear" Clay smiling during Sugar, Sugar. Definitely one of my favorites for this tour.

I can't believe how clear this cellcert is. Clay talked about the lady with the video camera. Said something about how we don't want our clack to be shaky. Said yes, he knows the word. Then he asked anyone video'ing to be respectful to those behind you cause they can't see. OMG I can't believe him tonight.

That article makes me soooo happy for him. I also have to admit I was really impressed with the value of that house. Also noted that when the house was put on the market the TV Guide interview had not even taken place. There is a new picture at the OFC in the Jukebox Tour listing. (It used to say Jukebox Tour rehearsals) The picture is of 4 teenage girls holding up the same t-shirt from the tour. The caption/title of the picture is Jazzy Tee Girls. That particular t-shirt is called the Jazzy Tee at the Clay store. So is this their new way of advertising the tour merchandise?

Not sure where this should go but there are new rules at the OFC Message boards. They are giving mods a LOT more authority. Including removing posts & banning posters at their discretion. They also don't have to give an explanation for the banning and they don't have to warn before they ban. There is a long list of disciplinary actions which include posting or altering another person's pictures. It's a facsinating read. It also appears that the rumors & speculation threads are gone. Personally I'm surprised at how long it took to remove that area.
