  1. To get back to DVD side of the upcoming Duel disk. I would like to see Clay without clo.... Never mind, got to get shovel to get mind out of gutter. What I would love to see is Clay explaining why he chose each and every song, interspersed with his doing things he loves to do, hanging around with family and friends. I would love to see him singing to Papa. Love to see him with children. etc. About cameras at concert scene, I would love him to release the JNT '05 for people who couldn't make it, can't afford tickets, get no clack, older people in homes, good stuff for students who can't concentrate around holidays have to be (Christian or Catholics schools), for boy and girl scouts, for church organizations, etc. Paid some sleeze bag mucho dinero for Clay's phone number, but after I called and he quickly hung up, he changed his number. I guess his cell doesn't reach the East Coast and he's trying to find a better company.
  2. No, no, no, I'm not reading your reviews before I see the show. I don't want to be influenced (really the word should be intimidated) by your posts. I'm trying to catch up, running, huff, huff, huff. Wildcard Show First of all, my 2 cents. All the contestant are good looking. That seems to be a requirement, plus singing talent. Clay is the most unusual looking, but with a good hairdo and lightening eyebrows and hair, his beautiful facial features can be appreciated. Of all, the only ones with confidence are Kimbermee, Clay and Trenyce. The others either chose the wrong songs or were too nervous to perform or didn’t know how. The forced smiles after the judging were painful to see. I did think Chip had the moves and voice to go on, but he would have been competition for Reuben. Last year’s runner-up Justine Guardini popped in to say what it was like to be a winner. He had very little to say, but cute kid from my area, who got a lot of TV and radio time locally. They brought out the eight finalists, the last being Corey Clark who looked sinister. In the results show, Kimbermee was chosen first, then Trenyce, then a surprise, Carmen, whom the judges seemed not to like. This show was interminably long, drawn out, and it must have been like hanging from your thumbs for Clay. When he was finally chosen, he looked like he had been stunned breathless. The little sweetheart hugged E-V-E-R-Y-B-O-D-Y !!!!! Why wasn’t I there??? Pout, pout. PS I read somewhere that Reuben and Klo were praying Clay through the wildcard process. Good friends. That man has another talent, making friends. moved from the motown thread...ansa
  3. I'm lost!!!! Where can I find the videos for the AI2 finals? I tried looking all over, but no luck. I don't want to read these review before I watch the show. BTW. who is Shack?
  4. Hi fellow paranoids, I always believed that Reuben was chosen way before hand to be the Idol. And I noticed that a lot of show biz people said a mantra taught to them, "We don't want anyone who doesn't look like an American Idol." My friends thought Clay would win, but he didn't. Psychic, maybe????? Why was Reuben's contract with big shirt company never revealed? I read that in one of the books on American Idol. Why is Clay always called on to defend American Idol, eg. Corey Clark, instead of Reuben????? Why wasn't Clay popular with girls before AI2? He had the same voice, charm, and sense of humor before. In LTS, they have a quote from Nick that said he didn't understand why women liked Clay now?? Clay has had a lot of friends that are girls, but no mention of a girlfriend. HS prom date was one of these friends that are girls. Why is Clay so adorable that I get weak in the knees when I see his picture? Enquiring minds want to know. Oh, I'm sorry, slap myself.
  5. Thanks Hosaa for that anniversary montage of Clay. Somehow I don't seem to get enough of OMC. What does he say when Randy says, surprised to hear that voice coming out of -------at this time, Clay spoke. Did he say "white boy?" Going to download Group 4. I hope I get it, I couldn't get 3.
  6. I tried to download Group 4, but couldn't. I did get the results. It was a night of "looks": Seacrest in glasses. Guess he had trouble with his contacts. Corey in a head-eating hat. And the biblical looking rocker with the ordinary name, Patrick, wearing a spiked S&M bracelet. I worried when he put his hands on Corey and Josh's shoulders. Now Patrick knows he should have come up with a better name like Bo or Constantine, since he was voted third and not picked for the wildcard show. The top two were future bad boy Corey and wholesome Josh. Even his voice is clean cut. Two of the group were chosen for the WC show: Chip and Michica ???????? That's what it sound like. Lots of talk about the great upcoming Wildcard show having a twist. They showed the wildcard contestants including Carmen and the one and only, Clay Baby, with his cute big ears. Oh, Clayton, why didn't you drive the girls wild in Raleigh? There was so much to nibble on.
  7. Thanks Claybiller for news about Rickey Smith. I wish him lots of luck. He just seems like the nicest guy to have around. All these 2 am posts, when do you people sleep? But it gives me something to read each am. Hard to keep up with those speedy posters, but that's ok. Post when you can. Love to read any time. Have a nice day.
  8. My son, Nick, had learning difficulties, but is now in grad school and will graduate this May with a degree in special ed. Though he is not allowed to tell me much about the children he has worked with, I can see you need a lot of patience and understanding. Nick wasn't potty trained until 4. All the other mothers were happy. But when he made up his mind to be potty trained, that was it. No accidents or anything. Maybe this may work out with Caitlin. My brother, Frank, had an awful accident when he was 7. He went through life being treated differently and cruelly. I loved him dearly. He was older and so good to me. I think I was the only person in his life who did not treat him as being brain damaged. He was just my brother and we did a lot of things together. He died a few years ago and I still miss him. He went through life having no opportunities. Thank you, Clay, for bringing inclusion to many children.
  9. Da ah, da ah, da,- da, da, da, music gets annoying when not separated by commercials. But I wouldn't want the commercials anyway. Good work, people. Am blown away at the good recaps. Here's my take on Group 3. Only two got my attention.* Kimberly Kerse-- (guess Kimberly was the most popular name back then.) I thought she was ok, gets lost in a crowd, I suppose. Jordan--I thought he had a nice voice, smooth and pleasant. Didn't rate the criticism of "dead look." Maybe he wasn't that animated, but in the words of Simon "so what?" *Vanessa -- How could anyone forget her, lively, peppy, perky and Pink hair. Dress was part pink with leopard skin. She's got a good voice and mucho personality. Randy said good, Paula said like Bette Midler. Simon said, lose weight. WWWhhhaaattt? *Now Ricky Smith -- I always liked this guy, Hercules, Hercules. Sang a good song. He sure faded away after AI2 tour, but I would have bought his album. Samantha Cohen-- hated her song, didn't understand any words and I like the blues. This gave Simon an opportunity to praise Reuben. Lou--I thought he had a good voice and a good song. He was told no, no, no and not like Michael Bolton. The kid is only 17, give him a break. Equoia-- uses up a lot of vowels. had a head cold. R&P said she sang with passion. Simon said like a small caberet in Las Vegas. Girl told him off, said Group 3 "We shine." George, sang Unchained Melody. tried to be Clay, turned out to be Guardino. Randy said old vibes. Most of these kids were forgettable, except for Ricky and Vanessa. I feel for them, but maybe this will be a good memory for them in the future, their 15 minutes in the spotlight. Maybe I'm just tired. Good night.
  10. Okay, I'm new on this board, fairly new to any board. And sometimes my wheelchair gets stuck between the toilet and sink and I can't get to the computer often. Now would anybody please explain a few things about the Salamanders' take on Clay's new house (hilarious). 1. Who are the penquin posse and why????? 2. What does safe combination, 5-2-30 mean????? 3. What does speed dial JF(no)K mean? Can somebody call my caretaker, Florence Nightengale, to come early today and get me out of this dammmmn bathroom. Thanks.
  11. Oh, what happened? All my writing has been obliterated! Who did this? Maybe one of my enemies? Maybe that man in the tabloid is really real and is coming after us, one by one. Did I take my meds this morning? It couldn’t be a virus, the one they call the FCAilment., No, No, I know what it is, THE SKY IS FALLING1 What Ansa? It was only a small glitch. Of course, I knew that. My take on Group 2:: First of all, I’m getting the feeling that “chosen wrong song” is a cop out by the judges. Secondly, it’s so obvious that Simon and 19 chose Reuben right at the beginning, hoping for another Luther Vangross. On to the competition, Clay Aiken (idol found, case closed) with lightened hair and green shirt singing Open Arms. What more can I say? Can’t remember Cowell, Randy said the usual, “Where does that voice come from?” Can somebody explain the “date with Paula” stuff?” I’ll go through all the women together. Some looked much older than the guys, but in that age group, it might be a given. Candice was cute, sultry voice, sometimes forced. Rebecca., with her exotic look and jazzy voice, was told she was not right for competition. Hadas, glamorous, with a good but breathy voice. I liked her a lot., but she was told she might have be good last season, but not this season. Jennifer was cute and played more with the camera. Was told she should have not even left the green room. Now, the best of the lot, Kimberly, gave great perfomance that brought an “amazing” from Randy, a “mesmerized” from Paula, and “didn’t get the buzz I got from Reuben” from Simon. He also said, Reuben got a 10 in personality and Kimberly got a 4 1/2.” Huh, what personality did Reuben project, a bump on a log? Kim was spunky and told Simon he sucks. Go Girl. The guys: Well, I can’t say enough about Clay, My keyboard gets clogged with so much drool. Poor Jacob John, cute kid with no voice, no range and a pathetic falsetto. Notice that Reuben never looks.nervous and never chooses the wrong song.. Wonder why? Others may not look like the American Idol. Does he? He and his family look like they need a medical intervention. They all are headed for high blood pressure, heart problems and strokes. Reuben is morbidly obese. People on Biggest Loser are smaller than he is Please, I am not picking on fat people. I would love to be chosen for Biggest Loser.myself , I need help too.. As for clothes, does a 205 tent worn every week make an American Idol. Can you imagine what the judges would say if another contestant wore the same thing every week. (On the darker side, Reuben was paid by manufacturer through his brother to wear that shirt. When exposed, American Idol looked the other way. No publicity given to this .)
  12. This is the first post I read as I am a really new newbie. You are so funny. Please write more and more. I am still giggling and will print this out and show it to my family. Thanks for brightening my day as I am getting ready to go to the doctors. BTW, I am so hungry for a Hershey candy bar, I love them all and especially that spokesman (yum -- for him, not the candy.) I'm only about 100 miles from Hershey PA, so I think I'll get into my car and take a little trip. After I buy a hundred boxes, I will insist, loudly and clearly, that they chose OMC to do a commercial. Love and Laughter, Claywright
