uh....actually, georgia...those sentences were mine....I just know couchie agrees with my little mantra. Of course, since she's not a smutter like me she'd never profess to saying something about Clay being "hawt" or thinking of another meaning to the word 'perform'...but be that as it may.... As for nobody being here a lot...I happen to sorta like that. There's the CH, where there's always somebody talking, even when there's nothing really new to talk about, or the OFC, where I hear there's talking but since I NEVER go anywhere there except to read Clay's blog, I don't care; or CV, where there are so MANY people talking I couldn't keep up even if I wanted to; and then my 'home' board---EAYOR (part of RHT), where I hang my thong most of the time. I like checking in here, though. I can always catch up and the majority of the time, there's something fun or of substance to read, even if there aren't a bunch of people saying it or saying it for more than a post or two. In fact, that's refreshing, IMO. So if you don't mind, I'm not ready to give up my FCA rights yet! I wish this is all I had to do, though. But alas! Real life calls. Later, women!

Oh, yeah....I LOVED Mr.Mister's album back in the day and remember the video to Broken Wings. Richard Page was driving a convertible in a desert-like place and an eagle or a hawk or some such bird was flying overhead...wow....LOVED this song best from the album...and from the beginning of my Clay journey hoped to hear Clay sing it. His voice is MADE for Richard's songs...CanNOT wait! I want Library Dude. In at LEAST a thousand different ways. That is all.

Ok bottlecap...a brainsharing moment here...I just popped in today after an early softball game---Carrie's team lost so we're done now for the tournament (Carrie (and 2 others) played great, but not enough of her teammates did! ) and I saw your idea for the CD title C L A Y :o Last night (I went back and checked to see exactly when I did this) at 7:19 pm I posted the very same idea on EAYOR! My eleven year old daughter is gah gah for High School Musical---she got the DVD from a friend for her birthday recently. My fourteen year old already had the CD! Of course, the older one enjoys the 'camp' quality of the thing---she's very much into musical productions herself. Just Sunday I took her and two friends to the movies. On the way home, they played the CD and all three of them knew every single word to every single song! Oh...and they sounded a heckuva lot better singing them than the people on the CD did!

I never go to OFC unless I hear that Clay has blogged (so that should tell you just how infrequently I frequent the joint ) or to see a picture or some such. Too lazy to search through anything else. Got my hands full just being 'at home' on EAYOR, popping in here to add an unnecessary comment or emoticon and browsing CH to see what new 'expert' opinion is being challenged. Whew! 'Course, every now and then I do a little work here at the office, go to a kid's softball game or musical production, take mom to one of a million doctor's appts., give hubby a little attention, walk the dog and write some....stuff. Nothing different from the rest of your lives, I'm sure... (well, except maybe for the writing...stuff part... ) Still don't see why a blog would hurt some GRAND PROMOTION PLAN....Lord, he could tell us he's got an annoying hangnail and we'd pitiful

So Taylor Hicks is the performer on GMA July 21. A freakin' blog would be nice. Just a few words. I honestly don't see what that would hurt. Yesterday was the 'show n tell' to Danel Powter's song "Had a Bad Day", so waking up to the Taylor Hicks news did nothing to turn my frown upside down. I watched that YouTube thing....and ended up playing it twice coss it was loading and whatnot....anyway, the guy who shares my office (on the other side of a partition) said (after the second 'uunnnhhhh....' from the speaker).. "Uh...you all right over there, Amy?" I ended up showing him the video. He's a former school teacher and said..."Whoa...that looks like a computer lab at a school. That's a riot!"

Yep, bless you and your mom, couchie...you are indeed lucky not to have the financial worries that usually accompany aging parental care. You guys have a great time in Northern California! There's a lot to see! I think I'm learning how too excel at avoidance. You'd think that without Clay actually DOING something, SINGING somewhere...I'd be able to be oh-so-productive in real life. notsomuch heh....(insert innocently whistling emoticon here....)

Lordy, Lordy...delurkers and others are here and there...cool. I'm on the same train as some of you---gettin' into the whatEVAH mode. I mean, there's only so much teasing, foreplay and bringing us to the edge, only to withdraw (ahem) again into silence a woman...I mean, a fandom can take. Meanwhile, I'm feeling a bit better since I made the decision NOT to do a July 21 jaunt to NYC for the GMA performance that I feel in my bones will happen. Got a free plane ticket but want to save it for a bigger bang for the buck trip---multiple concerts, you see. I also couldn't imaging being able to explain that particular Clay trip to my family. Cross country just to camp outside for a glimpse of Clay singing one or two songs maybe and then back on the plane? Plus it's the same weekend as one of my younger daughter's softball tournaments and she's the team's ace pitcher! My family is on board with my Clay love, but...I mean, really. Meanwhile again, my older daughter got her report card for her first year of high school and has a 4.0! :party038: Most of you don't know her situation but this was her first full year of school after having spinal fusion surgery for scoliosis and she's been SO brave and wonderful through it all. She's flourishing, finally doing the soccer and volleyball things again she so loves (after being forced into total physical inactivity for 12 months post surgery), going all out in the community theater she so loves (This summer she's Daddy Warbucks' secretary, Grace, in Annie---she has two solos and and other solo parts in five songs!) and is accepting a paid intern position in the theater organization to help on other productions.) I'm so proud of her...she's taught me a lot through the whole ordeal. Ok...enough mama pride...hope you scrolled when you started to yawn... It's a gorgeous day here in the San Francisco Bay area....taking my older one and two of her buddies to the movies ...and then off to softball practice for the other one. Life is good. WHOA! Those bananas are on speed! :o ETA: Yeah, if you're talking about the People interview with Taylor, I came away from that not liking him much at all. Of course, we've learned how the written version of an interview can be slanted/edited etc. to create an impression different from reality, but I just got an 'ewwwwww' vibe from reading it.

Ok...so someone on EAYOR posted that someon on CB posted that she saw a sign in Circuit CIty saying COMING SOON and then a list of artists' names.... Clay Aiken was just under Busta Rhymes (rimes?) which is all kinds of wrong on so many levels.
