Hey! I wasn't the one smacking people on the PATH train opening weekend. And what happened at Spelling Bee doesn't count KAndre. It looks like I'm going to miss dinner on Monday. My dad's doctor's appointment got moved and since I live 90 miles from downtown, I wouldn't be able to get there until 8 or so. Have fun y'all. Give me a dinner cert if you feel like it.

Take note all of y'all who doubted who ran the eHP. Whose schedule do we plan things around? Sure, a lot of us laughed at her in May when she opened her eyes really wide, blinked innocently, and assured us that really, Minnesota isn't that cold in December. Yet there we were freezing our asses off 7 months later. They did have lots of cute guys there and we found the best restaurant called Hell's Kitchen so I guess she was right. This time. I'll try to make dinner with Muski and the gang but Asian New Year is the following Thursday and my mom usually has me running around for days beforehand so I can't commit to anything yet. It's not exactly warm here either. It's 46° right now in Miami with a windchill of 39°. We may dip into the 30s tonight. It's cold. BRRRRR. OMG! Two posts in two days. Hell (or Miami) must be freezing over. She'll be a body guard before I am at this rate. everyone!!! Even if you haven't been having a difficult time, you never know when you'll need one.

I'm back. Been running around all day doing last minute stuff before I hop on a plane tomorrow morning back to Texas from Virginia. I think the entire eHP made it out of Chicago Sunday. Some of our flights were delayed but none of them were cancelled. I had a great time driving around the midwest with some of my favorite people and it was nice to meet so many FCA peeps. I'm sorry I missed the party at Uno's but I had to be up at 3 a.m. and my eye was killing me. In my haste to get out of the cold in Council Bluffs (Omaha), I hit myself right above my left eye with the SUV hatch as I was closing it after we loaded all the luggage. Hope to meet more of y'all next year. Happy Holidays!!!

For those of you wondering about Scarlett, she called me from Erie and said she had made it safely to the hotel. She's riding to Cleveland with someone who has actually used the stick with the bristly things so she should be okay for the rest of this trip. Hugs to those who weren't able to make their concerts because of the weather.

Whoa! I thought this was for after the concert. Our tickets were part of a package that included a buffet dinner so that's where we'll be before the show.

Lord help me. I forgot to tell you that Scarlett wants to go to The Melting Pot for lunch Wednesday since it's a few blocks from the hotel. We almost got thrown out the last time we ate at one. Either we were too loud or our conversation was too suggestive. Hey, the waiter had on some NICE PANTS.

No. It supposed to warm up to 30 degrees by the time we get there. Damn. Scarlett and I were hoping you wouldn't notice the killing cold. If it makes you happy, I'll pick you up at the airport instead of making you wait for the shuttle. Solo "Warm up to 30 degress" is such a total oxymoronic phrase I'm surprised the computer allowed you to type it in. Yeah, right, I was supposed to miss the ice covered bodies strewn about the Midwest.... PerusingOne, I have no idea how we were talked into this... KAndre If there's an ice storm I won't be able to make them budge but I can probably round up the posse and get them to Uno's if I warm up the car first.

I didn't even like the TV Medleys that much and Clay isn't even singing. Most importantly, I only have 4 GB left on my laptop hard drive and can't download every TV Medley clip. Y'all are going to have to find some other sucker noble individual to do these recommendations. Solo, you need help chickie? Would you cease with the fucking whining if I did them for you? My reward will be to never get thumped on the head...o.k? I wasn't whining. I was making statements of fact. And y'all know Scarlett is the only Clay fan I have ever thumped on the head even though I have been tempted many times to whack a few of them at concerts. Getting the best seats possible at face value, getting half a dozen people from point a to point b on time without anyone getting left behind or killing each other, and concealing Scarlett's mobile Best Buy from security are about the only things I don't joke about. If I have to put a lot of thought into it or do any analyzing, then that seems too much like work to me and my fandom's about having fun.

How about "Claybabe"? That's what they guy at the Courtyard in Tampa called us as we were riding up in the elevator. Does Jerome really have a list? Y'all know I was just kidding, right? I don't have any sooper sekrit info about the legendary LIST. I'm sure Jerome at the very least has a mental list since there are so many people who show up at multiple Clay appearances. Clay doesn't seem like the kind of guy who forgets your name after a 5 year relationship so he's safe. The cellcert got eaten so some of y'all don't know how I ended up slapping Scarlett upside the head. When Clay asked her who was sitting next to her, she had this blank expression on her face. It was clear to me and PerusingOne that she couldn't remember our names. If someone had offered her a million dollars to name us correctly, she couldn't have done it. PerusingOne starts saying my name under her breath and through clenched teeth because Scarlett is about a second away from telling Clay that she has never seen these people before in her entire life. Apparently, Scarlett didn't hear her and blurts out "Solo". I have a couple of brothers and whenever they say something stupid or something they shouldn't say, I slap them on the arm. Scarlett was of course holding the camera in her hands and I didn't want the Clack to skip around so when I instinctively slapped her, I got her on the head. The rest is history.

Happy Birthday, ldyjocelyn and Congratulations, Caro!!! I just can't keep up with you postwhores. I don't log in for 5 days and you've gone through a whole thread already. Hee. That was the first Clay concert I ever saw with the naked eye instead of through a camera viewfinder. They were almost strip searching people at the door and I left my camera in the car. I noticed some things. Those shiny buttons at the bottom of the shirt and the tie just pointed the way. Whoever picked the outfit out was begging me to look. I was just being polite. So I really don't understand why Clay acted like he would rather stare directly into the sun than look in my direction the rest of the concert. You don't think that had anything to do with the fact that every time he sat on the stool during the next few tours he was always facing away from me, do you? And now Jerome has video to go with the "mostly harmless" description next to my name on his list.

Oh hell to the no. It's taken me 5 tours but I've finally caught on to her evil enabling ways. What she's really pushing is Waukegan and Kalamazoo. Once I agree to one concert, she points out how convenient it would be to go to the next concert since I'm in the area already. That's how I ended up driving a bottle of ice wine through 6 states this summer. :F_05BL17blowkiss: All kidding aside, I would love to do it but can't really swing it with the holidays and hopefully a 2008 Summer Tour on the horizon. But I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the 5 concerts I am attending. Karen Eh?, let me know if you need a ticket for Omaha.

Only if you bought the symphony subscription. I'm not buying anymore of those. Better seats seem to turn up later. If you're thinking about going to Omaha, the subscription isn't a bad way to guarantee yourself great seats. 2nd row pit seats in the center section are available right now for $125. If you want to save a little money, the rows immediately after the pit are only $65 and I'm currently pulling up Row B (fifth row) center. You can buy 4 Clay tickets as a subscriber. The Casual Classics subscription is $109. If you split that 4 ways, it's only $27.25 extra per a ticket. Much better than paying a broker. I have never purchased a broker seat but I don't mind buying a membership if I know what I'll be getting and it adds less than $50 to the price of my ticket. I already bought my alotted 4 but I'm sure there's someone with room on their subscription if you ask around. But as jamar wrote, those seats will still be there for the presale and the public sale. You will just need to have the fastest fingers.

A gazillion people have been using my laptop. It was probably merrieeee lurking down there. That's PerusingOne laughing on the cellcert. I was sitting next to Scarlett during the first half of the concert. Then she gave me the camera, moved toni7babe next to me, and ran for the hills during the second half. Apparently, all Asians look alike to Clay because he never noticed the switcheroo. Loved, loved, loved the concert. Will recap later this week.
