  1. tvgasm.com Celebrity Apprentice Recap: Busting Your Peanuts
  2. From new member jenni *waves*, originally posted in the news thread: Attention all Claymates! I am excited to tell you that Clay is performing in New York City in 2 weeks! I work at an organization called Family Equality Council, which connects, supports, and represents LGBT parents and their children. We're hosting an event called Night at the Pier in NYC on May 8 – and Clay is now officially performing. As a fan myself, I am really excited and wanted to spread the word. Family Equality Council honored Clay with an award in 2009, and we loved that tons of his fans came to the event. Night at the Pier 2012 is only 2 weeks away – so hurry and buy your tickets! Check out www.familyequality.org/pier.
  3. Missed that one...I'm at the reference desk, and am having to "sneak" this in anyway! Too funny!
  4. Hell has officially frozen over. New tweet from Clay:

  7. I think he was "singing along" with the recording he did, and then that was a video from his podcast. While I didn't understand many of the words, I also don't think it was anything to get upset about. And I actually laughed at the very ending, because I'm sure both Penn and Clay really didn't "get" those heart-to-heart talks very well either. OTOH, just finished watching (via DVR) the Fox 25 anniversary special last night. Yes, Clay appeared -- they showed a brief clip of him during his surprise appearance at the finale of AI5. He was also briefly seen at his audition, and again during his own finale.

  11. Entertainment Weekly's recap couchcie, the author makes exactly the point about the bootings and how random they are (and calls that the main reason why he finds the show so entertaining.) Clay's Take is officially up as well. Yeah, at this point, the order of the firings gets very murky. ETA: Arsenio tweeted this picture overnight, with "A rare moment of photographic peace."
  12. Arsenio just tweeted this picture: More tweets:
  13. Hey, guess what? Clay's tweeting! (I wondered if maybe he wasn't going to live tweet because he know how this episode shook down...) Hee. Think I'll go read it again right now... The little shit. Hee.
  14. I totally agree about Dayana. She's got good ideas. It's that damn beauty that gets in the way. *g*
  15. Not that I know of. I've seen speculation that there might be something regarding Amendment 1 in NC, but nothing confirmed.
  16. Hey all! I was going to post that Twitter picture late last night, but it was...late last night! (More to that in a bit...) Anyway, he looks so cute there. It sounds like HE had a blast as well. Anyway, last night my husband and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary (a few days late). We went out for dinner, and then we saw the acapella group Straight No Chaser. We had front row seats, and they were awesome! To give you a taste of what these guys are like, I took one video. Straight No Chaser do a medley of the Beatles and the Stones BTW, these guys are all about the social media, and actively encourage video and photos during their shows. Matter of fact, THEY take a picture of the audience from the stage, and they encourage you to go on Facebook after the show to tag yourself in the pictures! They also have a M&G for anyone who stays after the show. It's a quick autograph line, but it's still fun. Since I was in the front row, I managed to snag one of the set lists taped to the floor and then had them sign it. I told one of the members that I've seen them 3 times now, and they said "one more time and you become an official Chaser!" That's the name of their devoted fans. It's fun, and they are so talented. Tonight's show is going to be interesting. At least I won't have to follow twitter all night....
  17. Ding ding ding! We have a winner! Trying to find that clip on YouTube...which is not easy. Maybe sometime this weekend!
  18. I think those in the fandom have known for years that the man is quick on his feet, and really, he's been doing improv for years via his concerts. So, I'm not surprised by that at all. He certainly is multi-talented -- maybe that's why I'm always frustrated when people INSIST he sing on TV shows, when I love his personality just as much. Actually, I think I've known how fast and funny he was since the beginning of my fandom. Here's the line that sold me on him, first person who can peg it gets an "attagirl" from me (wish I could offer a real prize!): "Well, if you're here...who's at home?" Knowing Clay, he'd have magic skills down in no time flat.
