    Well...it took me a long time to catch up on the posts....I'm sorry I missed out on a lot of fun on the board...the avie war...the top of the page excitement...the recaps of Kandre and Couchie...and the pictures posted by scarlett!!!! lots of great and funny posts...

    I totally missed that when I was off the net..yikes.

    rcknrllmom... I was thinking of you during our trip. I was wondering how we can get in touch...you were not posting so I didn;t think you were on line. I wanted to meet you and your talented daughter. Its too bad you didn;t come and say hi at the Mexican restaurant...I sure didn;t see any other Clay fans there. Well next time we have to make firm plans. I was so happy to meet other FCAers like Totally, Jamar, Clayzedover, AAIT and other people from CH that recognized my name.

    This was one trip I will never forget and I hope we can have another chance to do it again...maybe in the East coast so we can get a bigger group of FCAers.

    we were over in the corner at the restaurant......we really should have made firm plans...and next time I will listen to those voices in my head.......lol....dont know WHY I figured it was FCA people, just had a feeling....

    Still doing laundry from the California four-fer and trying to get ready to leave for the NC/Tenn three-fer tomorrow. Just hope it dries in time to pack.

    Those shows were all wonderful. Clay was so "ON" in Pala that concert will be forever etched in my brain. Everything there was just perfect. All the others were wonderful, but Pala was a special evening and will always be happy I got to see it in person.

    Was so good to meet some of you at the Greek. Recognized Couchie right away. She was wearing her DCAT Shirt, it HAD to be her. Yet missed K'Andre completely because she had no bling. Not one single thing, no tiara, diamond earrings. Nothing. She was going incognito I guess. Got to meet Scarlett and Ansa too. And at that point, my mind could not hold any more information, so if I've left anyone out it is because the brain farted. Clay and I had a con.nec.tion. rcknrllmom, I thought I saw you somewhere...wish I was sure but not enough to walk up to you. It was outside of a concert setting I think...maybe a hotel lobby or something. So sorry about that. Now that I'm home, am seeing it as a lost opportunity. Would have loved to meet you. What the heck, if I approached the wrong person, it might be a little embarrassing, but then I'd never be seeing them again anyway!

    All the recaps have been wonderful. Now that I'm somewhat caught up, am going off to download LOTS of clack. Lots and lots of clack..... be back eventually....

    You should have....did I have red hair? LOL..Cause I do....daughter has wavy hair and glasses. A LOT of people came up to me and asked if I was rcknrllmom.....

    heck we had someone walk up to us outside at the Greek asking kayla and I if we were COLLEGE students..LOVED that....um she is only 15 and I am NOT...lol

    Wow now that's a serious partying bunch of girls if ever I saw any. That tiara and red convertable makes quite a statement. Screams SEXY. I love it. Green with envy. Waiting for all the recaps.

    rcknrllmom are you that painfully shy that you can't go up and introduce yourself? I can't believe you didn't meet anyone again. That's terrible.

    jamar the next time we run into each other we must spend enough time together, to have at least a couple of drinks.

    Clay and his not a fold statement is so freaking funny. That man reads too much of the boards. I must go find the clack and watch later on.

    ldyjocelyn , thinks I need cough syrup for the froggy in my throat. Hee Rivet..Rivet. I just need those lowriders to fall completely off of Clay. Of course having our bestest clack gatherers right in the front row with their cameras, to capture the moment. I could die a happy woman then. I do get all mushy when he is seriously singing at me, but during the rest of the time I like to spend it admiring his other qualities. *g*

    Not at all...since I hadnt met anyone before, had no clue what they looked like...but should have followed my hunch...do not know WHY I figured it was FCA people. but did....stupid me for not asking I guess

    Good morning! Remember me?? lol..got home about 1am yesterday!!! I shall never catch up.

    I didnt meet anyone from here again and you know what? I stayed at that same Holiday Inn Express!!! geesh..OH! and seeing the pics....we were in that um "lovely" Mexican restaurant at the same time, we were waiting for our room to b e ready...we were in the corner....I had a hunch it might be you guys...I guess I should have come over...stupid me!

    The trip was WONDERFUL!!!!!!!! so many good/great things happened....I loved it in Indio when he came down the aisle...as we had aisle seats....Kayla was inches away.....that man is GORGEOUS!

    I know I will never have time to go back and catch up on the boards....

    did I miss anything?? lol

    Hey, rcknrllmom, I gotta yell at you. :P You're costing me a ton of money. The picture you posted a couple of weeks ago of Kayla's framed Clay poster inspired me. Initially, I bought a $10 poster frame for mine, but I wasn't quite satisified with it. So I temporarily lost my mind, and Poster 1/3000 is now in the shop getting matted, custom-framed and generally archivally-preserved. I nearly choked when the clerk added up the cost, but I handed over my credit card without too much of a whimper. (After all, it's still less than the cost of a plane ticket...) Can't wait to see what it's going to look like! And maybe in twenty or so years when I need retirement funds, it'll be eBay gold. HA!

    hehe....cost me about $39 to frame and mat the one of Kayla's...frames were half off...and had to have the mat custom cut....not too bad!!

    you will be glad....I wont dare ask what it cost..but hey you have #1.....wow...ebay gold you said it! lol

    HA! As I was scrolling through the thread, I saw your avi and was about to post that surely Kayla didn't make that one! I see I was wrong.... :cryingwlaughter:

    I watched "Stay", and of course I especially enjoyed the SH footage around the one minute mark where Clay was writhing around like someone had dropped a kitten down the back of his shirt. He's so silly. :P Also, I haven't been downloading much bus video because what I've seen is so quick and usually pretty dark, but the footage Kayla used at the end of her montage was really good, so it was nice to see.

    The group's had a couple of nights off, so they should be in prime shape tonight. And since this will be the last concert for a few days, I bet it will be very high energy.

    Safe travels to all!

    LOL...nope she made that one.....and one other I am using at CV now... this...

    Good morning! Is it tuesday yet...We are driving down to des moines sleeping in a hotel close to the airport since we have to leave EARLY wednesday morning....and I dont want to drive at 2am..ugh... I am too old for that! lol...we should get into San Diego around 10am! early...the girl we are staying with gets in after 4...the hotel is in her name...she is traveling this week and we have no idea the name of the hotel..lol...so anyhow....anyone in the area, we pretty much have the whole day free with not a clue what to do....

    I am SO looking forward to this trip! very very excited....I still think its a dream!

    Would have loved to be StripedShirts sitting in that audience watching his reaction...how strange for him to watch this musical pretty much about him.....lol...glad he got to go...

    Don't think that is Jacob..can't quite remember the context but wasn' tthere a guy name Jay Deal that mysteriously left the tour. Don't think this is about Jacob.

    To add more context through my feeble brain..someone asked him in the meet and greet about what Diane Buble said... basically he said she was confused...those were songs he liked...probably liked ot sing, and she just communicated that on Oprah. I can see that Diane didn't even really know the distinction of what she was saying would be sent to Clay lore/urban myths forever... probably wasn't even a big deal..the important part is that she heard him singing and thought he should go on Idol.

    oh that is right! I remember..and Jae said he was neither fired nor quit,that is was a mutual decision since it wasnt working out....everyone is so sure he said JDL'd them...as in Jacob Luttrell

    Claygasm Good luck today!! I am hoping to find something after California so I can have MY name on a paycheck again....unfortunately it might be nights and retail....we shall see how it all works out....miss my old job and the money...I really had it good there....the boss was difficult but wasnt around most of the time...

    STILL can't believe we will be in California.....now I am stressing because in order to get to the airport we have to leave at 2a.m. I am not much of a night driver....we come home around 11 pm too...couldnt use the airport here because that cost WAYYYYYYYY to much...grrr...

    Next CD? well, I will wait and see...not speculate or worry, just hope a bit.....I hope he finally gets to make the one he wants. I am still waiting for the one simply titled Clay Aiken!!!

    Morning!

    I still think the forgetting the words is just a bit in that song....if you watch him, he is mouthing the words as he has the audience sing...I think its his way of getting them involved...

    but then I could be wrong...I often am....maybe.

    STILL trying to get to California...and I am losing my mind...I have Greek tickets available to me, THIRD row San Diego, and Indio..and would have to sit out Pala as they do not allow anyone under 21...stupid casinos....problem is, I pretty much spent my $ on Houston/Tulsa. WHY do plane tickets have to be so much??????? I really really really really want to go...someone there I want to meet too..and she already is lining up all the hotel rooms AND driving....sigh...why wasnt I born rich instead of whatever I was born as...lol

    and as much as dh was pissing me off yesterday when he got back from his little trip with his motorcycle buddies, I became even more determined....I need the happy.....
