I'm home. She had every test underneath the sun and they found nothing. She's back to her old self. We have one follow up with a neurologist on Thursday but things look fine. Now back to catch up. Thanks for the good vibrations.

This is good news!!!!!!!!!

I went through my closet yesterday. I think I found what I will wear to the Brady Theater in Tulsa. A pair of cuffed, creamy white colored Summer dress slacks with a silver'ish/black lame shell top. Sleeveless. I found a black/gray/white patterned long sleeve silk blouse to bring as a jacket, in case it is cold in the theater. Dress it up with some jewelry. If this was outside I would be wearing shorts and sandles. I sure do miss the casual jean, less formal type concerts. To me, an indoor theater symphony concert requires some sort of dress and formality to it, but that is just me. Yucky. Too staunch and rigid for my personal taste. Hee Who knows though. We'll probably get there and find people in jeans, shorts, sparkly antlers and what not.

Are people really getting dressed up for the indoor concerts? I didn't think anyone got dressed up for concerts anymore! I don't think I own anything I can get dressed up in!! Clayzor, your outfit sounds lovely, but it seems so dressy (at least by my standards! ). Is that the kind of thing most are wearing? Hey, you Houston types, what do people wear to concerts????

I am not dressing up.... I am you...I dont think I own anything I can get dressed up in. Its a summer concert, although indoors, I still plan on wearing jeans....Heck, the airline only allows one check on bag of 35 pounds...gotta keep it light!

I have seen some people I've been posting with for several years now slowly turn into paranoid, bitter people I don't even recognize. The fandom has apparently ceased to be a source of light hearted fun and celebration for them a long time ago. They've spent so much time dwelling in the muck and mire, keeping up with all the haters and swamp dwellers, that they believe that the entire world is an ugly, hateful place. It's amazing how trivial all the "hater" activity is when you just stop looking for it.

On the subject of the OFCMB, there is a thread with well over 200 responses now, in The Man, begging Clay to sing LAL on the tour. I don't have a problem with people expressing their love for the song, but I tend to get a little bit put off by all the posts expressing how disappointed they will be if he doesn't sing it. How about just waiting until the first show and being happy about what he does choose to sing?

But that's just me, being a bitch again.

I have to admit what happened at the OFC is pretty damn embarassing. I was shocked at what was going on and that nothing was done to stop it maybe the mods are just as fed up as many of the members.

The one that owns the board with the x's did post that she wanted it shut down guess she got her wish.

rcknrllmom, I adore your montages and watched a couple of them this morning on YouTube. Catching up is always educational -- never more so than watching "Just Like Heaven" and realizing that Clay's sexy-fingers-playing-with-micstand thing is nothing new!!!! Oh, and Clay looks so hot in black & white! And "Beautiful" and "You Make Me So Very Happy" speak for themselves. Thank you for putting these together with such care and flair.

That is so very very nice....I sometimes have hesitated to share them.....not one of the ones everyone rushes to and says omigod that is great...just cause...BUT it is so NOT about that...I love to find that song, and try to convey how it makes me feel or the vision in my head. I blame my daughter for getting me started! lol...the amount I have made is scary...but dont do it as often as before....always waiting for that next song to speak to me.....

Sometimes I think the board rules breed passive/aggressive behaviour. I know I'm guilty of it at times, when what I'd really like to say is 'I think you're full of shit'. But I can't. :eusa_whistle: I think a goodly amount of 'snark' would be more aptly labled passive/aggressiveness.

AMEN to that....I want to sometimes tell some to shut the F up...cant do that either......mostly the rules have turned me into a lurker elsewhere and as you can see here, it is a hard habit to break.....I have opinions...just darn scared to talk about them sometimes...lol....

Now how do I feel about the Little John moment, the JNT 05, the audience participation...i love it all. It makes Clay unique. I am a big fan of unique. I am also a huge sap at heart.....I cry at about anything. But you know what..I wouldnt change any of it.....It just all is. How lame is that.

When I faced my mortality 5 years ago...it changed a lot of things.... I always found the good...most of the time, tried to find the happiness...most of the time....Complained...more than now. Didnt take any risks...then the dr said..."I have some tough news." and it changed everything....I REFUSE to angst or worry about Clay ...what good does it do....Clay is my JOY , so to speak....he is my good. My daughter and I have gone places we never thought we would, met people who otherwise we didnt know existed...just plain have been having a helluva grand time!! And I like to think it carries over in my every day life...my kids tell me I am crazy...I say thank you....

cause god if you didnt laugh, and feel good...what is the point??????
