I LOVE You Don't Have to Say You Love Me.

I'm so with you. I don't know why people expect bad reviews. I don't--and I haven't noticed most of the slights. Critics are just people with an opinion, so they don't affect me much one way or another, but I think it's becoming cool to like Clay. He's still around after all these years, and that alone is enough to convince people he's not a flash in the pan. I feel incredibly positive about Clay's career.

Well, this has been one of those days. My cat knocked over my official Clay Aiken fan club coffee mug, spewing coffee across my Mac keyboard. Instead of immediately grabbing the computer and turning it upside down, I stood up and yelled "OMFG!!" about 10 times before taking appropriate action. I dried it with a hairdryer and miracle of miracle all the keys EXCEPT the "e" work. Unfortunately, E is the most commonly used letter in the English language. F#$#$k. I took myself to the Apple store where the guy assured me the E was probably toast, but they could send the computer off to Apple. Since I'm in the middle of a writing project, that didn't seem like a good idea--so I had my data transferred to a new computer, and I'm now typing (e's and all) on my new MacBook Pro. I'm f#$#%$$king broke now, but this machine is truly an orgasmic experience. OMG. It's worth every penny.

I suppose there's a certain degree of irony in my saying THANK GOD I'm a heathen and don't have to carry around all this sin-bullshit baggage.

If only Clay would strip for the cause.... I'm palpitating over the HAND in the OFC picture. If it had been a picture of his toes, I'd be laid out on the floor, twitching and salivating. I need help.

Hotel recommendation for NYC: My friend and I stayed at the Hotel Newton (on Broadway in the upper west side) last trip and liked it very much, so we just booked a room on line. Twin beds with bathroom--$140 base, which comes to $164 with taxes added on. It's right by a subway stop and busline, so getting back and forth to downtown Manhattan was really simple--and it's right next to a cheap diner and a nice little Thai restaurant. It was very clean. The rooms were small, but nice bathroom. There are even cheaper rooms if you don't mind sharing a bath. Hoppy Bunny Day

I like the cover, and I don't really give a rat's ass if others don't, but I just about heave when people start pontificating on how this will affect sales, his image, etc., etc. etc. ad gaggeum. If they know so frigging much about it, why don't they plan the cover for their own CDs and leave Clay alone. I just want to celebrate! Do you think that picture was taken at the Mecca cafe/restaurant? (I think that was the name.)

I feel like a stranger in a strange land. What is all this sports talk??????

I'm seriously considering a trip to NYC if we ever get confirmation of a concert there. I'd love to take in a few shows, eat popovers, and enjoy the city.

I really didn't expect Clay to come to the West for such a short tour, so I am beyond thrilled! Even if this is the only concert I can go to, I'll be happy waiting for TNT.

You HAVE to be kidding me! Thats insane. Even I got mine in time and I live in Canada eh? I got them on the Monday prior to the concert. In the end, didn't use them because Scarlett and I found 3rd row broker tickets that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I've almost had a frigging heart attack waiting for TM tickets to arrive, so now I always get the print ones and print out about 3 copies and hide them in various places just to MAKE SURE!!! I hate TM. Bastards, all.

I will be there with my friend CarolJean. I'll go to her home in Roseville and we'll drive up the day of the concert. Would LOVE a get-to-gether with friends. (Of course, we'll all be waving at each other at the venue!)

I gave up on TM and called the hotel directly (1-800-687-8733) and got section E, row 4 tickets. WAY better than what was coming up with TM.

Hallelujah!!! A concert in the West! I'm so going to get tickets on Thursday. I don't care if he does nothing but stand on stage and grin. ETA: I just have no clue at all where he will be next. Maybe he's just flying out and doing weekend concerts here and there. That's what some artists do--I think it's cheaper than a bus tour and a lot less complicated.

I have so much trouble trying to read the text on this new board--I think it's the color. Is there any way I can change to something other than blue on blue? It took me forever to just figure out how to get to my controls, so there's no hope I can figure out anything else. LOL,
