  1. I didn't know what you were talking about!! I was waiting for some funny avi - but then I went and discovered I'm a "BODYGUARD!!!! And I promised when I joined here that I wouldn't be a post-ho!! I guess there's no tiger changing stripes!! eta: or is that "leopard"???? I'm sure it's not "elephant" How's this for a useless post??? Hee!
  2. AAIT I just LOVE your artsy-fartsy stuff!!! So cool! I was wondering where you went after promising us some pretties! Sorry about the leak! grrr!! But those beauties were worth waiting up for!! :F_05BL17blowkiss: WooHoo! for Scarlett's WPB Clack!!!
  3. I'm just to thankful that my love of all things Clay Aiken hasn't led me to feel any entitlement to his choices in life. Please, Please, Please, if I should ever post that I'm disappointed in some choice he's made - just hit me over the head and send for the men in the white jackets. All I ever want from that man is for him to continue to sing to me, entertain me, keep getting gigs on TV so I can be grinning from ear to ear, trying new things that amuse him because they will then, for sure, amuse me, wearing cutting edge jeans (tight) and gorgeous designer suits and jackets with the casual elegance he exudes.....................and once, just once before I die............perhaps front row tickets....
  4. I haven't stopped laughing since I got home. I had no idea he had blogged earlier and sent Claynation pouring all their koolaid down the drain - still haven't read that little beauty - but I did read the last one!! Ohhhhhhhh I've always LOVED "pissy Clay"!!! Poor Clay = I want to give him a kiss and make him all better! So!!!!!! I wonder what he's up to and what he's planning since he has all Spring free now!!??? Oh God! I almost peed myself when I read that blog!!! Too funny!!!
  5. 1. He is out of the country and knows nothing about the "turmoil" Kim's comments created. 2. He is sitting in Raleigh eating Cinnamon Toast Crunch totally oblivious to the turmoil Kim's comments created. OR 3. He's typing and retyping his blog so as not to piss anyone off... Door #3. I don't think there's anyway in hell, he doesn't know what's going on. I hope he blogs soon so the speculation could stop. Then, if it's a "go" - those who feel like throwing up can do so, Those who will have to walk away rather than idolize someone who would do such a thing can walk, and those who think it's one tour out of nine and one that could be really fun and garner a lot of positive press, can sit back and enjoy the whole thing.
  6. I'd love to!!! What a past 20 hours!!! As I posted last night, I knew there would be exploding heads over the news but I am still surprised that there hasn't been more balance with the for and against, other than here. I truly think it would be such a fun tour. I personally LOVE all their voices and I think it would be quite magical having the three of them together on stage. I also believe Clay is sooooooooooo smart and won't enter into this partnership unless he feels it will be a "good thing". I do believe he would think it would be a really fun tour but I don't, for a second, think he would do it if he thought it would hurt his reputation or be "a step back". I really trust his judgement. I hope Clay blogs soon and puts everyone out of their "speculating" misery. I'm sure his "people" are keeping him informed about the reaction of his fans to this little missive! There might even be some coke machines being disrespected as we speak! All I do know is that Clay has never failed to make me smile, make me proud, and to entertain me and I don't expect that to end anytime soon. He rocks my socks!!!! I want to see THIS guy again! And I DEFINITELY want to see THIS again!!!
  7. Good Morning everyone!! I still think the whole thing is a hoot and IF it happens and I think that's a big IF - I will so be there if I can. It sure did spice up an otherwise boring Sunday night and made saying goodbye to my son just a little easier to get over! Hate to go to work - maybe I'll sneak on a couple of times and peek cause I just won't be able to resist! Have a great one everyone!!! MUAH!!!
  8. DCAT - Doing Clay Aiken tour??? I think that's so cool - I may shorten it to DCA if that's okay! I thought the question related to the story earlier of the WDC when Felix DCat flubbed the Vermont line and Clay couldn't start WDC because he was cracking up. Both work!!
  9. Felix "DCat"! Drummer boy!!! Who thinks Vermont is a city! Kim I think this whole thing is hilarious but I don't mean it as disrespect for your's or anyone elses' opinions. I just always find it a hoot how Message Boards go crazy over rumors and speculation and it was a given that THIS particular bit of rumor (or fact) was going to cause some major explosions. I'm really sorry if you take it personally as it's not meant that way at all.
  10. Oh God! I was so wishing there was some Clay news to cheer me up after DS2 went home! BWAH!!!!
  11. Hee!!! So I didn't even check to see what I posted by accident when I meant to post the Cluben/locke piece - I bet it was the Pala youtube I sent to my sister! Anyhoo! All hell has broken loose and personally, I find it freaking funny!!! I wouldn't miss the three of them for the world!!! It sure wouldn't have been my choice of what he does but since he doesn't check with me, IF it comes to pass, I'll have to figure it's something HE wants to do and more power to him! As soon as I read the article, my first thought was "Holy CRAP!!! The shit is going to hit the proverbial fun" - well, it took all of a few seconds!!! Hee!
  12. Claynation is imploding!! http://youtube.com/watch?v=EcItK5aN9UA Personally, I think I'd kinda like it but it's not going over very well! To put it mildly!!!
  13. Now that I'm on a roll - why stop??? Another favourite banter bit - and I don't know what concert it was from - was when Clay told the tale of Angela throwing down her cell phone and tearing the bus apart searching for Clay's "pills" when he said he hadn't taken them that day! Oh God - how do I explain to my DH why I'm giggling at the computer????
  14. Ditto! (I'm really not a Churchy person! ) Well Crap!!! I must be post-hoing to get two "on tops" in one afternoon!!!
  15. The "Flat Clay" banter at Pala was totally, absolutely freaky funny but as funny as it was, the s....l....o....w..........s........o.......n.......g..........s.... (and loud) and s..........l........o.........w........ for the first time had me almost on the floor in hysterics. Add that to the line "A Clay Aiken concert is like a slot machine - you put your money in and don't know what you're going to get" - PRICELESS!!!! GAH!! I love reliving that night! Not to forget that he was f**king gorgeous!!!! and the sunset........... and LAA.... and BYLM! carry on.......
  16. Could be because I wasn't in on it? It was very distracting as it ruined the flow of the show for me. Believe me , it was more than 10 seconds of shenanigan. If it was then it wouldn't have been a distraction. It went on for a while and continued on while they were singing. I felt very much an outsider watching an inside joke that did not look funny from afar. I'm sorry it was ruined for you. And I apologize for speaking up. I just remember at the time not understanding why people were so annoyed. I wonder if the NJU people at the concerts feel this way about all the Message Board "inside jokes" included in the banter. eeee (top of the page) or crap!
  17. I need to ask....what joke? I was there. I'm not sure what you're talking about. The joke of putting ice on each others back. I only found out about it after the show. Clay and company were giggling and could hardly sing because they were laughing do hard. I remember that well and remember all the consternation in Clayland after it. What I didn't and still don't understand is how one 10 second antic can ruin a three hour concert for you. I guess I was grumpy at the time with all the complaints because I would have donated a kidney to have been there but then THAT's just MPOV and I respect everyone's right to be annoyed. I just didn't (don't) get it.
  18. Hi again! Just saw my DS2 and g/f off to return home to Hong Kong! "sniff" Don't know when I'll be seeing him again. "sniff some more" so I came here to get cheered up! I saw some convo asking about "best audio" and tony7babe at CV posted this morning her picks, which I saved: Hope that helps someone! I can't wait for the new CD - can.not.f**king.wait! I saw opening night of JNT05 in Vancouver - GAH!! faint!!! GAH!!! Loved every frickin minute of it! Black suit too! GAH!!! "faint" "GAH" Thought all the bitchin about it from those who only saw Clack was bitchy but then I'm so easy to please. He makes my heart smile no matter what he does or what he sings and I love how he tries new things ie. the medleys (he was nervous) and the JNT05 (really put his rep on the line and I thought he did great!).
  19. Good Morning all! Interesting convo this morning. The medleys - I loved them. Period. The banter - my favourite stuff. The serious songs - great BYLM - kills me every time. I think the medleys were so important to inject the kind of upbeat fun that Clay wants and feels that he needs to go along with a concert of s.......l............o..........w songs! I do think that fans get tired of them from overexposure much as they got tired of WDC in the JBT. I think these should all be reviewed from the first cellcert and clack to get a true feeling for them. I loved watching how they evolved from the beginning to the end of the tour. I would love to have heard LNM and BW but I would rather he changed up with other serious songs than eliminate either of those medleys. And from what I experienced, these medleys were a favourite part of the concert for men and NJU folks. So, according to an article posted at CV - Clay wasn't at the DF Gala last night. I wonder what he was up to??? Hopefully, he was out having fun or buying more new jeans, writing some new kick-ass songs, recording some kick-ass songs, having some kick-ass super-sex.
  20. Stargazer That video of all the "Movin on Up" clips is so much fun!!! God, I love him! Mandler I can't stand to watch the final moments of AI2 either! Can't turn it off fast enough. UM??? At the David Foster Gala - it was so much fun when DF kept making Clay do the high falsetto note over and over. It was hysterical! What a fun night that was.
  21. I guess it's my morning to be the contrarian. BUT - if Clay's new CD gets released before the finale of AI next year, I am so hoping he is invited on the show to sing the new single. Can't get any better exposure than that, except for maybe radio. And Please, please, please, have him for a whole hour on Oprah! These two shows are "hit makers" and I want to see him there!
