  1. I think it includes commercials. I'm just so happy to see the whole songs rather than cutting to a commercial during it...especially Christopher's only solo. Their song is my absolute favorite. Oh, hell, what am I saying....I love all the music and still know all the words. I am a dork!
  2. Anybody else watching "The Sound of Music"? They've restored all of it for tv....4 hrs!!! Whoot! My favorite movie evah! Christopher Plummer was my first mad, crazy crush....followed by Chad Everett...BIG GAP....Clay.
  3. There's already the beginnings of a fight happening as to whether or not Clay will follow the script....including the word shitty. Shoot me now.
  4. Growing up in a highly dysfunctional home with lots of abuse I found out you can either let it beat you down or build you into a functional, successful, independent adult. Admitting that things sucked was my first step...wanting to break the cycle of abuse was my second....opening the curtain and looking at the mess is not easy and once it's open it can't ever be closed again but it is also the only way to step out of the dark. Clay and Brett sure seem to have a close connection to their mom.
  5. Well, yeah, but when you're packing....would it even be noticeable?
  6. I had a roommate when I first moved here who had two very distinct personalities. She had her "professional" side which showed itself in pretty negative ways....rigidity, "seriousness" beyond what was needed for the situation, etc. When she was home she was the funniest person...great sense of humor...great heart. I asked her one time why she didn't show people that side of her personality when she was at work. She said it was because she was a professional and professionals don't have fun when they are working. WTH? We work with kids! She always complained that people never invited her to things but I was always invited or she'd try to be funny like me but no one ever laughed, etc. She admitted she tried to take little bit of everybodys' personalities to create one of her own....YIKES. What you see is what you get with me. The only thing I change from home to work is my potty mouth and that's just self-preservation!
  7. So sorry to hear this. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
  8. Should it bother me when people who don't know him think it's ok to call him "Clayton"...'cause it does....a lot. I respect him for wanting to keep Clayton to those who have always known him and will continue to know him outside this crazy world of celebrity.
  9. I grew up in a town of 1500...66 in my graduating class...very rural community. My dad was the County Supervisor for the Farmer's Home Administration....that's what I mean by rural! Most of my friends lived in the country until they came in to "town" school during Jr. High. Wow...that was interesting. One of my best friends, now, talks about how it felt to come in to town and how we didn't even become friends until our moms did...I don't remember her in Jr. High at all. Apparently, us townies were kind of a snobby bunch...I dunno. I now live in a "city" of 25,000....and, believe it or not, it is no different than living in my home town. People know me, say hi, and know every.freaking.thing about everyone...so....it's a small town with lots of people...or lots of people compared to where I grew up. I went to Houston this past summer....I was amazed at how all these little towns form the big town. I was also stunned when we went to dinner before seeing Spamalot (on a Friday, no less) and downtown Houston was so quiet. I found out later that there was a baseball game that night. The other thing I loved about Houston was all the beautiful flowers and trees downtown. Denver always seems like a concrete jungle to me....so I appreciated the trees and flowers.
  10. keepingfaith, I believe the "you're so cute" comment from Sasha came around the 5:13 mark in the "behind the scenes" video.
  11. I watched that Bob Newhart special....I loved it and him. He's funnier just sitting there looking at you with those puppy dog eyes than most "current" comics will ever be.
  12. You are not the only one. I didn't realize how much I didn't like the bangs until he started wearing it off his forehead with his glasses. He looks very natural to me now both with his light hair and his glasses. I was happy to see the cheekbones back but the extra weight looked just fine on him...to me.
  13. Sir Robin may very well become Sir CLobin by the time Clay gets done with the role!! Heh! Thanks...I'm hoping the search for the new kidney is almost over...time is on my side.
  14. Well, I have nothing to say about the flap-flap because I didn't even notice the flap-flap thing...I remember thinking his mic pack was bulky but that was the end of his suit thought for me. You will be happy to hear that the craziness is alive and well and harassing me with PMs at the OFC. WTH? This woman is in serious need of an intervention. Wow. I rarely go over there because...well...I'd rather pull out my fingernails...I went over last night and lo and behold...a PM from HF. And the beat goes on.
  15. Well, yeah, that big splotch in the back of his head is really blonde.....how in the world did that get there? ETA: Perhaps, but as I said upthread...it's the FRONT flap that really matters.... and he's so good to us in that regard, don't you agree? If he doesn't quit squishing his boys like that, he may not get to have his own babies. Lord...that has to be uncomfortable.
  16. AMEN!! I think the hair is more red than blonde, too....
  17. From what I understand from the "experts"....an organic narrative is built....um....organically. I think I blanked out the fifty-tudinal time I heard it.
  18. Oh gah. That sound? was my ovaries exploding. Someone give this man a baby of his own. ME!!!! ME!!!! I'll do it...I don't CARE if I've had a hysterectomy!!!!!!
  19. I'll add my little pet peeve to one of yours: ORGANIC narrative...
  20. 1. What is your favorite Clay recorded song? This is tough...I think it is "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word" or "If You Don't Know Me By Now" or "Lover All Alone" 2. What is your favorite Clay live performance? Yikes...."Fantasy" on AI(3?)..."Solitaire" on AI...All of the JBT but especially the Elvis segment...Good News and YWT. 3. What is your favorite Clay tour? Hands down the JBT...although I loved the NAT and the IT as well. Haven't been to as many Christmas shows, unfortunately.
