Couchie, I'm not sure I'd say Spamalot is silly as much as it is seriously snarky, smartassed, irreverent, off the cuff humor. That's why I think Clay will fit like a glove...he is a natural at subtle, off the cuff humor, I think. I'm very excited.

I absolutely loved Spamalot the two times I've seen it...I can't wait to see it with Clay. What concerns me are the people in the fandom who had a HUGE issue with what they perceived as a crotch grab during the summer tour and Sir Robin singing about things being shitty and such. They didn't think Clay should lower himself to grabbing his thigh....what in the world will they do when they actually hear the word shit come out of his mouth....plus a few other colorful lyrics in his big song? If they go to this, they better be prepared for a WHOLE nuther kind of Clay...

Oh man, that sucks jj. I hope you were able to salvage something fun and special in the day. You made a wise choice though, not to risk your personal safety. I had one of those Christmases that was a bit 'off', where everyone tries to put on a good show because it's Christmas and you're expected to be all happy and shit, but it's forced. It was weird. I'm glad it's over. Of course I missed the ice skating show this afternoon because we were at MIL's house. Does anyone happen to know if there is a download available anywhere? Pweeeze???? CV says Eva is getting ready to upload it but I don't know how long it will be. My day was ok...I'm glad I came home but missed out on all the goodies. Might have to see if Perkins is open and go get a piece of pie. I'm missing the Christmas cookies.

Hi ivy...yeah, I'm doing fine. No chance getting to my destination...the weather has gotten progressively worse...the temp is dropping and the snow is freezing....think I'll just stay comfy-cozied here watching Clay sing on NBC.

So, I was supposed to be eating a turkey dinner right about now....got an hour down the road and it was so bad I had to turn around. Snow, sleet, ice, wind. Peanut butter and jelly, anyone?

Perhaps I should cut the crazies some slack because it's Christmas but I can't. These people need help. Someone in their real life needs to get them in a small room and slap the shit out of them until they open their eyes and realize how seriously fucked up they are. QM mentioned on CV that they need to want help before it will work....I agree with that to a point but I still think their families need to be told what the hell they've done and what they continue to do. Let's get real....she texts "Clay" at the end of the concert to find out why he didn't sing the encore...she has not learned anything from this mess. Banning them from the boards made no difference in their delusions. I don't pity them but I do pity their families. It has to spill over into their real lives. I wonder what HD's little girl thinks about mommy disappearing from her life?

I actually got row CC without going to the brokers...asking for one ticket probably helped. This seat would have been my best ever...and here I sit...listening through a computer. Oh well...Spamalot will be worth the wait.
