#51: You go on with your bad self, Mr. Aiken
Claymatron replied to Couch Tomato's topic in Main Thread Archives
Coming out of lurkdom to say I love Clay Aiken, always have, always will and that will NEVER change! Just so anyone with any doubt (or who even cares) knows exactly where I stand on the matter. Adam who? -

Wow, this has just been the best birthday ever. It's been so exciting all day, and here I thought the most that would happen would be a twitter from someone who spotted our BF (with his BF) at the Champs-Elysées or some such. Could the man be any more classy? Gosh, six years ago today, this was all just starting..him coming off Idol and us wondering if we'd see him again...who'd have thought my 60's would be the best years of my life? Thanks for all the happy birthday wishes...they worked!!!! -

My comment wasn't directed at you, personally, either, muski. Just a general feeling of pissiness at some fan reactions on the boards that Clay shouldn't express his opinion, especially when it conflicted with theirs, and he should stick to singing. Agreed, probably the same people who complained that he never blogs and they weren't getting their money's worth on the OFC. Sigh! -

Good morning, people. Interesting discussion this morning, I no longer watch AI because my DH got tired of me comparing every male singer, negatively, to Clay and I agreed..why waste my time? Whether or not Clay was gay was never an issue for me, but I sincerely believed that he wasn't. When anyone confronts me about his sexuality and why he would still appeal to me, I always say "He's gay, I'm not! He's still the best singer I've ever heard and he's always been gorgeous!" I know I don't post often but I did post yesterday and no one responded, so I'm going to try again. If no one knows the answer that's fine. Sorry to quote myself, but I know there are several techie types here because I know them personally. -

Thanks from me too, luckiest1! The Kidney song is addictive, isn't it?? Belated Happy birthday, Solo! Whew, finally getting all my stuff organized on my new computer. Does anyone know if I can d/l Java safely with IE? I read somewhere that IE doesn't support Java since Dec. 2007. What does that mean? -

Ahhh, but perhaps he was saying la clé (the key) in which case "la" would be correct! The House of Aiken de la clé (of the key). Makes sense to me....I'd like a key to Aiken's house. Ya gotta consider these things from all angles, people. Clay always knows what he's doing! -

EEEEEEEEE, I just picked up my VBOCA cd's (from Amazon.com) from the post office. I had also ordered "Crisis" and can't wait to start reading it. Am I the first Claynadian here to receive mine, from Amazon, that is? The album quality is amazing and I'm really noticing a difference, especially in the background music, although it could be because I mostly listen to Clay in my car and right now I have him serenading me from my living room stereo. Love the choices for this compilation too, it flows very well. I'm just a happy camper right now! -

I tried to order from Amazon.ca Monday and they said it was "not available" (this after getting an email from them a week ago suggesting I order it) , so I ordered from Amazon.com instead. Got an e-mail yesterday saying that it's already been shipped from the U.S. so I'm glad I did what I did. -

Oh, good, I thought I was another Alzheimer victim there for a moment. I thought it was either Andy or Daniel (although, of the two I was thinking Daniel)...and I remember Andy's wife having a baby girl and Clay being all excited about that. Thanks for clearing that up, it would have bugged me all day! -

Daniel Pearson or Andy Abad, maybe? I think it was Daniel, but not sure. Nope....I can just SEE the guy but can't remember his name! Talk about Alzheimers...... Thanks, though!! Hmmmmm! Was he with Clay during any other tour? I can't remember any other guitarist being musical director. Not that I'm an expert on Clay's bands, or anything, but now you've got me curious. Was that the year of the vignettes...with William Joseph, or am I totally confused here? -
