  1. I must be really important then, I qualify as an antique!
  2. CM runs in, skids to a halt.......... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CINDILU2 :large-smiley-003:
  3. Just got in from work. Couch, just wanted to send my good wishes for your mama too!
  4. I've read in a couple of places this morning and it seems the injury was to his ankle. But your guess is as good as mine as to whether or not that's true. Wherever it is, I hope it gets better soon! Hugs to crimsonice this morning!
  5. Sending lots of hugs for luckiestdaughter, aka crimsonice. Hope she gets home safely and starts feeling better. Love that girl, she's so much fun! luckiest1, is she coming home or going back to TO?
  6. Yup, that would be me too although I prefer shorter sideburns to really long ones. Baby burns, hee...cindilu2, I like that one! However, combine them with a beard and it's a whole 'nother ball of wax. I luuurves me the Clay beard! I'm also still savouring my memories of the Gala and the whole trip to NC, in fact. I wish I were the type to post my feelings right off the bat, but I need to sift through everything and decide what I want to share and what I want to taste in little sips. I so admire those who can get it out there quickly, but I'm always afraid that my perspective will be totally different from someone else's and when it comes to Clay, I just don't want to be influenced or swayed. Just me, and probably a little selfish on my part. I just love the guy and I know that I always will, in fact, now more than ever.
  7. ONE??? What am I supposed to wear the other three days? :lmaosmiley-1: (Yes, I have just one medium size suitcase and a small carry-on.)
  8. I always say Measure of A Man, never MOAM unless I'm writing it. Yes! I've been trying to eliminate any unnecessary stuff, but it's impossible with the weather temps fluctuating as much as they're forecasting....and, where I used be be able to travel with just a toothbrush and a change of underwear, I'm a lot more high maintenance these days. Old-age, middle-age, maturity is a curse, I tell you!
  9. Claymatron... Congrats!!! Are you going to share it at some point??? Pretty please! Awww, thanks. Didn't know if anyone else would actually care.. Here it is: As Sir Robin, you may not be the meanest, But as a star on Broadway, you're the keenest Your voice is just great And your dancing's top rate! Though you might not get hired as a pianist!
  10. I'm just going to quote the heck out of you today, From Claygary! (even though I messed up the quote thingys below). From Claygary: Me three!!!!! Wheeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! From Claygary: Me three again, sort of..... I mentioned to Bella19 in an e-mail this morning that I felt like it's been a long time since I've seen "Clay". Even the Christmas tour last year where he stood in one place all night, I felt he was a little disconnected from us...and then with Spam, as you say...he's Sir Robin, and my SD experience was from the third row back so I hardly saw him at all. I didn't really have a picket fence dream for him, but I did want him to be happy and include us in that happiness, so the coming out news, to me, was a re-connection to him. At last, no secrets, and for that reason, I need to see him...the REAL him. Know what I mean? Oh, and CV picked my limerick this week to go with the flowers they send to him! Hee!
  11. Just trying out my colour.... Morning, FCA eeeeew, ^^^^looks like I had a little too much wine last night! Now wine, that should be MY colour Fear, your colour looks like mine...when's your birthday?
  12. My colour is peridot, which is the August birthstone and I'm a May baby. However my hubby is an August, so it makes sense.....I think???, Says I'm dramatic, poised and knowledgeable. Yup, that's definitely me alright! Dramatic :21: Poised Knowledgeable :pickme: But they missed "Single minded"
  13. That sums it up for me. I know people who are struggling, I know people who have decided not to be a fan anymore, and I know people who are ready to move and celebrate Spamalot and the stage door and the upcoming gala! Thankfully, most of my acquaintances are in the latter group. Latter group member and another fuckin' cheery fan here!! :F_05BL17blowkiss: I was lucky in that both my kids put themselves through university. My son completed high school, took a year off to work and then went back to school. He held 4 different jobs and it took him 6 years to get his degree, but he did it. My daughter quit school at 16 and took a menial job. Decided she was wasting her time, took a job bartending, spent 4 years getting her high school degree and another 10 getting her university degree. My son ended up being a Provincial police officer (his degree was in criminology) and my daughter teaches Special Ed in Toronto. Both have great jobs with lots of security and I'm very proud of them and grateful that they did it on their own. I would have loved to help them out financially, but I think the moral support and encouragement was important too.
  14. :Kolobok_Laie_haha: OMG, I finally was able to download the Mystery Song, Cindilu!! Don't know why I had problems before. Maybe my computer knew my DH was in the next room! Talk about an ear worm (or is worm the wrong word??) I lurve Clay's new teeth too. Beautiful!
  15. No no no! I believe she's "mad4clay", or something similar. I've seen her posting & she's fine, not going anywhere. No, Bridget is still cool (she's from Minnesota, anyway, not Houston). I think j4clay's name is Jan and her avi at CB is/was a full-on cheek to cheek hug with Clay....she has a cubby face, IIRC. Anyone else know? I had no idea she was the "one" at the OFC. Sad, really sad!!! cindilu, the sendspace you posted is used up. Any chance of posting another?
  16. PERFECT BLOG, an explanation without apology, but with understanding.....and a declaration of commitment to his career, the things he holds dear to his heart, and his continuing love for us. That's the man I've adored for five plus years now, and I'm not going anywhere....EVER! EEEEEEEE......two weeks to the Gala! I think the blue is pretty...
  17. Make that WE leave for the gala, Lady! What am I, chopped liver?? :F_05BL17blowkiss:
  18. My father had a terrific sense of humour. He always said he was an agnostic...that he would have been an athiest, but then there'd be no holidays. Anyway, I know this wasn't true because he said he felt closer to God when he was in the woods, or in his garden. He also said that some of the most horrific cruelty was done in the name of God and he couldn't support churches for perpetuating this kind of rationale. He hated prejudice of any kind...loved Duke Ellington and followed his band everywhere he could when he could afford it (sounds familiar), and had various band members, including The Duke, back to our home whenever they were in town. I don't really know where I'm going with this, just that I miss him today and when I read that letter from "Marge", it made me grateful that I was raised the way I was, in a time when political correctness was in the distant future, I was taught that...if there was a God, He was all about love and acceptance. ::end of sappy post:: and dammit... more than ever!
  19. Just read Jaymes' comment. YOU GO, GIRL!!! I just love that woman!
  20. laljeterfan.... :thbighug-1: Hang in there. They say the best is yet to come. You don't want to miss that, do you? Gotta go to work in my wine store now! Love you guys. So glad I found this board.
  21. OK, I want to marry all of you...(well, most of you, anyway) and Jaymes too! :F_05BL17blowkiss: BUT.... Hey now!!! Them's fightin' words. I will continue to Do Clay (and wish I could do Clay) for as long as he's here. I still want to Do Clay and I have the same chance of that as I always had, so I'm totally OK with it! Aww, Paul Newman was my first crush, then Robert Redford, then Eric Stoltz and then Clay Aiken who chased all the others out of my heart. RIP, Paul!
  22. I guess my reaction to Jaymes yesterday is the total opposite of CG's. To me she became a real person, not just the mother of Clay's child or his executive producer, but a woman with personality and guts. I liked what I knew about her before, but now I love her. I think she's got it all together and that they make a wonderful family. That little boy is very, very lucky to have those two as parents. Loved the GMA interviews, both of them. I've often felt that Clay still had a lot of growing up to do, but these interviews showed me that he's accomplished that. I love his intelligence, his wit, his compassion and his immense talent and know that I'm committed to him as long as I live. No burnt puppy feeling from this fan, not now or ever. By the way, Bella, good luck with your oral surgery this morning. Love ya! :thbighug-1:
  23. Yeah, and I'm one of them. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz! But, somehow it's a good tiredness...those photos of Clay with Parker are outstanding.
