I want the Rockerfeller tree and go to Macy's. I could join my roommates for a couple of sites though. Thanks Claygary for the message. Just wanted to add that it's a sight to see Ground Zero, seen it twice and makes you reflect on what happened there.

I get that the Airtrain and subway are viable~but just can NOT see me and my intrepid companions hauling umpty-dozen suitcases blocks and blocks to the hotel. I know my back won't take it, and I'm not sure about the others. jmh, do you happen to know if taxis are generally available/waiting at the airport, or do they need to be pre-booked? to luckiest1....that was fun! And the subway was so efficient getting me back to Finch I could hardly believe it. About 1.5 hrs restaurant door to computer desk. Why we don't just take a taxi if one is available? Don't know about dragging luggage in subway but I did it in the Montreal metro. Whatever is best, you know I'll just follow.

I wear socks with sandals this time of year - in this transition between the glory sandal days of summer and the cozy-furry-boots of winter. Horror of horrors I even wore socks with sandals in town yesterday. I've been totally out of the loop here. Is Clay posing for pictures all the time now or just on quiet nights? Looks like the crowd was small. Love that picture, btw - what a man! I would so love to have a pic with him when I go in Jan. It would be great to have a pic to show my fellow workers and family when I got back. There may too much of a big crowd then, but you never know, not counting on it though.

Thanks for saying this, and I agree with you. My daughter and I couldn't be more different in the way we self-identify as gay, and in the way we choose to live it, but we're both still gay.
