The icing came for me when I realized that I'd left my jacket on my chair some good time later (nearly an hour or more I think—but it's a bit fuzzy) and went back to retrieve it. I ran into Faye coming out from somewhere, carrying some things and just started talking to her about the evening and how special it was. She then said to me:

I guess his "It's private" attitude must really bug them. Here is a celebrity that could be getting all kinds of free publicity and he doesn't! Wow someone with integrity...they are not used to that.

The more I know about Clay Aiken the more I admire him.

I feel the same. I think my dad secretly wants to scream every time I launch into my "Clay Aiken actually deserves the 'Idol' tag" speech or ramble about how he's famous for things other than throwing phones at people or sleeping with the nanny. But my father loves me and knows he can distract me by bringing up football, so he restrains himself...

Now that cardigan he was wearing last night..I have a theory. IMO Clay gains weight easily and is very aware of it. He has mentioned his weight many times and did mention it to the person who reported on talking with him in the grocery store when she asked him about Breyers Peach Ice Cream. So, being thrifty, he has a sweater vest that he can wear now and also when he's gained weight, one that will hide his tummy.

Is Jerome hustling Clay off somewhere in pictures two and five? Clay doesn't look like he wants to go!
