Happy Birthday, ldyjocelyn!!!

I thought that was just a flash of sarcasm about the puffy coat...
Speaking of, any Clay-clothes analysts able to tell if that is the same puffy coat he wore for the Thanksgiving Day Parade? It doesn't seem like he'd need many puffy coats.

From the CH:Clay has a new picture on his personal facebook page as seen by anyone who is friends with Aron Hall on FB.
If anyone can make this picture bigger, I'd certainly appreciate it!
Sorry for the postho-ing. I forgot about the request for the larger pic.
Not much to work with in the way of resolution so it gets grainy if I take it much larger. Did anyone else get a load of the length of that thumb?
ETA: Thanks for the info, ldyjocelyn
I was so excited before I read the last word....

Wow, Clay Aiken and hair drama? I never knew this could happen.
I like the picture. It's good for a few laughs. He looks windblown and probably didn't have a comb or anything on him when he got stopped by someone wanting a picture with him.
Or, you never know. He might just be displaying his cutting-edge sense of fashion by gluing that electrocuted mammal to his head.
ETA: Me too, couchie. The only time I've ever worn makeup is when I was doing community theater. Until about the last year or so, I considered wearing jeans 'dressing up'. Then I went to college and suddenly people wanted me to wear nicer clothes than jeans. I was at a loss!

Congrats, muskifest, so glad you got your kitty back!
Clay on OFC... man, if he keeps doing this, I'm gonna have to find the moolah to get a membership.
-
Oh, muskifest I'm so sorry about your Simba! I didn't even see your post about him when I replied before. He's so pretty--I do hope those stripes help him get back home!
-
Merrieeee, happy, happy birthday!
muskifest--forgive me if I've asked this before, but where does your avatar come from??

clayzy, it sounds like you had your August calendar up a few days into September. Hee, so did I, but I love cindilu2's new September one!
Yeah, I'm usually a few days late getting the new ones. It did, however, remind me to do so, so now I have September's up! to cindilu2
-
georgiesmybaby so sorry to hear about that...
Just as an aside, everyone in my sociology of medicine class got treated to cindilu2's August calendar today. My teacher couldn't open a .pptx (Word 07) file on his computer and I have the converter downloaded that opens Word 07 files with Word 03 so I offered to hook my computer up to the projector and everything to run the PowerPoint for him. He agreed, so everyone got to see my background. I don't know what people thought of it, although I did hear people saying his name several times--mostly in a question, like, "Is that Clay Aiken?" And then a girl asked me after class if it was and I said "yes" and she mentioned the whole Michael Sandecki thing. Also brought up how different Clay looked.

WOW
This was the first time I have had an inner struggle! #1--stubble! Profile! STUBBLE! Fingers! S.T.U.B.B.L.E.!
#2--cute! Smirky! Those jeans! I know why they have him on the bathroom floor--so you can idly daydream about getting him out of THOSE JEANS and into the
bathtubshower... and get all slippery... and soapy... and... WET!-pantpantpant-
But. Stubble!

Good morning FCA!
Well, we're halfway finished with the photo tourney. After tomorrow's winner is revealed, I am taking a bit of a break -- partially because it is Labor Day weekend for us Yanks, but also because I have 4 days off in a row, and I'd like to sleep in! Therefore, the photo tourney will return on Tuesday, September 8, where we'll begin our second round of eliminations.
Here's yesterday's winner...
And here is the final tourney poll of the first half...
I'll be around I'm sure, but I'll go ahead and start with the good wishes for a happy and safe Labor Day!
Ooh, I lurves this one!
Someone should make a collage of winning pictures. That would be
ETA: For our Honeycrisp lovers here, I thought y'all might be interested in this. New apple intended to rival the Honeycrisp.

I think Reed is allergic to t-shirts.

Yesterday's photo tourney...well, it was a nail biter. Too much of a one, actually, as I ended up flipping a coin to determine the winner! My apologies to those who voted for the other picture...but here is the winner...
Here is today's photo tourney poll. We're down to four pictures...happy voting!
*flail*
Mm, early Clay in all his sexay goodness.
I realized what my favorite Clay look is! And it has nothing to do with hair! I suddenly realized that what I like the most about the Decca picture is his two-shirts look! (And the stubble, of course. Mmm, stubble... ) Hoodies and sweaters don't do much for me, but a short-sleeved shirt on top of a long-sleeved shirt? YUMMALICIOUS!
OK, random clothes rant over.
ETA: LOL, guess which one I voted for today!?
-
Wow, I've heard no love for his "coming out/'08 Gala" hair--short and spiky but dark red instead of the bleach-y blond-y/brown-y hair of the AI days. I FLOVED that hair! Maybe it's just 'cause of the timing that it appeared, though.
His hair is naturally light? I'm a horrible Clayfan. I thought his hair was naturally a dark auburny color--like it was during his audition for Idol. (And during the above time, heh.)
ETA: I just found this and it made me crack up! Don't ask me why... I guess I'm just easy!

Mariah Carey has recorded IWTKWLI.
It's OK, but sounds waaaay too auto-tuned... Lacks heart or soul or something, in my humble.
Then again, Clay pretty much ruins anyone else's chances at winning me over if they're singing the same song. His IWTKWLI is miles beyond hers. Again, just in my humble.
-
See, even Clay likes dark-haired Clay best!
Man, I really don't like the Decca picture.
But hey, I know all you people in love are blind....heh!
I like the build and the stubble moreso than the hair. But, it's Clay. I don't care how he looks as long as he looks good. Hee. Contradiction? I don't think so!

I predict a blowout!

It's just too bad the clack-gathering won't be hard for Clay. I like it when Clay finds things hard...
Well, I tried.
I like it when I find hard Clay things.
And that is how it's done Clayzy!
Note: "I" doing the finding vs "Clay" doing the finding.
I have been duly schooled.
Then again, I do have a disclaimer.

Anything that puts 'firm' and 'Aiken' into the same sentence is a good thing.

Nice! My father works for Ford, so I drive the lower-end version of the MKZ, the Fusion (I think). Yours is much prettier! (Ooh, and you get better mileage, not to mention Clay Aiken on THX surround... I think I'm jellix!)
