I can't read about officiating without responding about the replacement refs. They are horrible!!!!! That's all I talked about half my day yesterday.... they are butchering games left and right. I'm ready for the strike to be over!!

Our state lost 90% of our apple crop this year due to the weather, our apple orchards definitely have done some shipping in for their stocks. My favorites, Honeycrisp and Pink Lady are usually expensive as it is, so I don't see myself having apples anytime soon. It's sad, really... ldyj sounds like you had a wonderful birthday!

Well... OFC presale went well enough, the price tier I paid should be for pit seats, but I wasn't given any seating information... later some people DID get seating info... so now I gotta figure out what's up...

Thanks! I found the row D and row E seats... still looking for something more centered.. I might call my mom at lunch to get her feelings about sitting on far sides or even mezz, there were a good handful of front row available that I saw before this radio presale. Dunno how similar that map might look after this though lol

luckiest, you can get super cheap cases off of eBay. Last weekend I paid $5 for 4 cases! Many hover around the .99c (USD) area and have free shipping worldwide. I even saw some for a penny. You just need to plug in the right words into the search. And I'm so glad I waited for my contract to expire, I got my iPhone for $50 less than the original upgrade price. Thank you Sprint!!! (I think they dropped the price because they knew the iPhone 5 would be out soon and they want to sell their stock. I also don't think I would have been able to get that one anyway cause the 4S is probably the cutoff for availability/requirement for my OSX version, and I feel like I got lucky with that!) So, I found out last night that my mom wants to go to the concert and is going to invite my aunt.....so today I'm going thorugh ticket stress round 2. LOL I'm gonna try for good seats through the OFC presale.

I luuurrve my iPhone! But I'm also biased. I had an Android phone that was total crap...after the OS updated it just never worked as well. It froze up more, I could never get the apps I wanted (a lot were by/for Apple products only) and the battery life was horrible. The days just before I upgraded, my phone started blanking out and I wasn't even able to use it. Replying to a text could take me up to 10 minutes cause the phone would have to unfreeze and reload the screen. Experts say now many Android phones easily compare to the iPhone and some experts think that the Samsung Galaxy SIII surpasses it. I still think it's entirely preference. Same with laptops. I made a switch from Windows to Mac back in 2008 and I've been hooked on Apple since. I have had absolutely no problems with my MacBook in 4 years, whereas my PC laptop was junk in just half the time.

I did a double check to make sure I had the correct info on my account. I found out I had the wrong address listed and changed it immediately. Turns out it didn't matter that much cause I ended up taking the ticketfast option (it was free for once!) but I'm glad I looked ahead of time. As for my card info... I have it all memorized. *g* Also stored in my account. I know for a fact it expires next July so I'll have to change all sorts of info then. There's going to be an OFC presale tomorrow if anyone's not absolutely thrilled with their seats. I'm sure there will be much better ones available!

I tried searching for pit seats but none were coming up, kept giving me that not available message or whatever it is. I might have to upgrade if I come across one. *g* For now though I'm happy! ETA: They just switched over to a choose your own seat form of buying tickets... you can see what all seats sold! I also wonder how many of them went to brokers... *sigh*

I got my ticket!!!!! I miraculously pulled up a Row A seat so I snatched that right up!!

FOX THEATRE!! I am so there!!!!! The venue is GORGEOUS too. I never thought he'd play there just cause it's kinda big. So excited we have a date tho!! I'm on the way home from a fun day with friends at the Renaissance Festival, this was a nice surprise to read up on!

Thanks everyone! I had a good day, just went shopping. Got a few things I needed, and some other things I really wanted. All in all I'm happy! And I think I get to celebrate all over again next weekend with friends. Yay!

A day late and a dollar short as usual. LOL Happy birthday Ausdon!! I had one whole thought on my mind yesterday... get to the Secretary of State's office. I completely forgot to go Wednesday when they had later hours so I had to rush to get there after my mom got home from work. I was lucky I had a full half hour to spare when I pulled up. I needed to get my license plate tabs renewed so if I do drive my car into town I won't get pulled over and handed a ticket. lol I also didn't want to pay the late fee, ick!

I just spent 2 days helping at a garage sale that I only thought was going on for one. I think I'll be sleeping well tonight! lol That's my entire weekend.... anyone doing anything more interesting?

There's one that's showed up for Boston too... I noticed he has a full week between the Shippensburg and St. Charles dates, I'm hoping he fills in that large gap with some dates in the OH/MI/IN area....specificially MI... I'm thinking more and more how unlikely I'd be able to go unless he comes to me. Tough times and all right now. I don't know why but I was just taken back to when we started getting dribbles of information for the SRHP tour and the Sterling Heights date was one of the final ones to be announced. I hope I don't have to wait and have my nerves strung out like that again. LOL

I've filled my month with a couple much wanted-to-see shows, Boardwalk Empire and Once Upon A Time...and I got kinda obsessed with Boardwalk. (Oops) Last night I saw the first commercial for the 2nd season on DVD 3 times and I watched it each time. (oops again.) This weekend was a little more interesting, I went with a friend to a concert, we saw Evanescence and Chevelle..great show. And then one of my aunts came to visit from western MI and she spent the weekend with us. We didn't do much but watch TV, but doesn't that make having company simple? Haha! I don't know why but I'm dreading this month's end.. it hasn't helped me be motivated for anything either. It just makes things even less interesting. lol

Still wishing for a closer date but I'll roadtrip if I have to...

What a wonderful heartfelt blog from Clay today. He said it so perfectly. I knew Nan a little, I was at the OFC when she joined and she did do quite a lot for everyone... for a while she posted in a thread that wasn't about Clay that I was in, and one of the things that stands out to me even now is how controlling her husband seemed to be. I feel so sorry for her kids, this is not how it should have ended. A friend and fellow fan is collecting all the kind words said about her to give to her children next week. They had a great mom.

The Eric Idle bit was my favorite!! I ended up watching the live broadcast online and I'm SO glad I did!!! NBC cut out more stuff, AGAIN. I heard that London was using a Muse song for one of their unofficial songs for the Olympics and that they might perform, they did as we all know now...but NBC cut their performance out! I was SO mad, I LOVE Muse and was looking forward to seeing them twice! Ugh. They also cut off the start to the Beatles/John Lennon tribute, but they showed the entirety of "Imagine". Whatever, NBC...........
