I think Clay moved consciously and you could tell he wasn't comfortable with it on Idol. With dance you can't do that or you'll never be good. I don't know if anybody else on idol looked like they were counting or concentrating on where their next step went. So I do think it's a little more than Clay saying he isn't good although I know some of it is schtick. The bottom line for me is he thinks too much. And I totally agree that he lacked confidence and training. Spamalot is definitely a triumph for him. The hip shake? He didn't believe!!

Wow he looks graet in the new pictures. I may have turned the corner on the blonde hair. But one thing remains the same always = that smile..omg he looks so damn happy. His eyes look a litle devlish!

The date for Clay's CD changed multiple times BEFORE it was listed on Amazon as was my recollection. No, the actual date was TBD for a long time and then the date was added. And it was listed on Amazon during a holiday or a weekend..and that puppy rose to the top in a matter of hours. As for buying multiples...Let's say there was twenty thousand people in the online fandom during Moam Days. I think I'm being generous. And let's say we all bought 7 which is absolutely not correct. That's 140,000 albums out of 2.9 million. I actually think it's more like 10K and maybe 50% of those buy multiples, anywhere from 2 to that mythical 7. which is closer to 10K to 70,000. IMO. So I dont' really think it qualifies as a phenomenon. I could see if he sold 500,000 albums but he didn't..it was 3 million. And we know it didn't happen for ATDW..some people refused to buy 1 for whatever reason. I'll buy at least one of everything simply for the fact that I'd like him to do well and will look forward to the next thing. ETA: but the music business has absolutely changed since MoaM. I don't even buy CD's anymore I download everything. Most people download their music for free or buy songs and not albums. Clay too will be affected by this after all...2.8 other people bought MoaM. I'll definitely be buying a few of these and they all go to good homes. The multiple concerts I do for me. Anything over 1 CD? I do for him if that makes any sense. That's just how I look at it. you can look in the archives to see what was going on..don't know off hand.

Spent the day in doctors offices and emergency rooms but you'll have to VIEW NEW POSTS for the details Now my wireless connection if cutting off and I'm too lazy to go to my desktop but I'm going to attempt to catch up. underthespell -- congrats on your body guarding status. I understand what you are going through. It took me a good 6 months to get through it. LOL. I'm at the we had the best of times but now we're divorced..i can look back fondly and wish you well with no regrets but don't care who you date and don't want a reunion stage. OK I accompanied my mom to her doctor's appt today. The appt was at 1:45. It's 10:30 and I've been home for 30 minutes. Le sigh. Even the nurse at her doctor's office took one look at her at knew something wasn't right. We spelled everything out to her doctor...and well she sent us to ER for a CT scan because a regular appt would take two weeks. Looks like they did a complete workup though. The CT scan came back normal but the doctor set her up with a neurologist and ordered her a walker because the cane just is not working. She also will be going to physical therapy. I'm really worried about that because she told me she fell and just seeing her holding on to stuff to maintain her balance is not good. Anyway, I'm a little scared because the ER doc said the word Parkinsons. Now he wasn't diagnosing her, just saying neurology wasn't his area of expertise but just hearing that word ...well there was an instant dread because some of the things I noticed in her for the past two weeks are things I do associate with that disease. Does anyone know anything about it or can you recommend a website. I don't want to work myself up over what may be nothing but I know my mom and something is just not right. Now let me do my normal bitching about emergency rooms. Maybe there's a good reason but why do they always want you to tell them every drug you're taking yet you lay there for hours and they don't give you a one of them. Finally I had to tell them look, either give her something for nausea or let us go home ..and then I had to do the same for her neurotin which she's been taken for the after effects of shingles. Most people that have shingles..well when it's over it's over. But for some they have symptoms and nerve problems forever...and she's one of the lucky ones unfortunately. The other thing that is bothering the heck out of me and I will be emailing her doctor tonight... The medicine that works best for her nausea is called Anzemet. But they took it off her and have tried two others drugs and they work somewhat but nowhere near as good as the Anzemet. Now, I'm trying to figure out why they took her off of it if it works the best for her. Are there medical reasons? Are their side effects we don't know about. Does it interact badly with her other medications..and she's on a boatload. Or is it the fact that 30 pills cost $2000. Now I don't give a darn how much the pills cost because she doesn't have to pay a dime for them but obviously somebody cares. It took 5 trips to the emergency room in 2006 before one of the ER docs even gave her this medication. So what's goin on here. Is it the insurance plan that doesn't want to eat 24K a year? And actually with this drug she would only need to take it when she felt the nausea coming on. So it wouldn't be that much. When I look up my mom's medical plan online it's called the classic plan. I just bet it is and I bet nobody else has that kind of plan because even her friends that are retiring now have to pay for medical insurance ..and quite a bit at that. Anyway, enough ranting. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Are you caught up YSRN. I'm so sick of Sonny. Good Lord, he is about as scary as Casper the friendly ghost. That fake accident scene..yawn. Didn't you just know Jason was going to save the day... and I love Jason. I hope that hand is so bad he can't hold a gun or fight again..maybe then he will get out of the mob. I have to admit I like that they are showng him and Sonny at odds. Who knew Jason was the smart one. Damn! Almost got rid of Sam. The only thing I'm really enjoying is Spinelli and wonded blond one LOL. And I do enjoy the scenes between Robin and Patrick. Shocked they didn't drag out the paternity issue out until long after Carly stole Robin's baby. You know that's going to happen right? LOL. And no I haven't read any scoop. It just seems so obvious. And now we have not one Carly but two. And I really still love Kate...just wish she can be on the show and away from Sonny. Don't think that's possible so I'll tolerate them together for now.

I guess for me Clay fit in perfectly on Idol and was never a fish out of water. In the pop world maybe..but I think that's a different thing. I don't watch Idol so don't know this person of whom he speaks so he very well could be Clay like. No botox please! heee. I swear what people are doing to their faces in the name of youth is scary...especially on the soaps. Yikes.

LOL..that doesn't sound like Clay at all. I know they are being complimentary but I never pictured Clay as hanging around and not finding his place on Idol..and he certainly was blowing away people with his voice. Stay away from those blogs Play! It's sunnier over here.

Good points Jenna ..actually how I felt about Idol Gives back last year especially after hearing a rep from one of the organizations that received funds. It was going to do a lot of good..and being a part of it led to more publicity for this group which led to even more money. bwah Play..well I can relate to your first emoticon...

heee I'm so trying to do this as well. I figure the biggest expense is lodging and I'm staying with friends for 3/4 of my trip. That makes the possibility of the above happening very possible and I can actually use my money for actually doing things. The only time i was truly responsible was not going to JNT 06. It killed me and really the schedule was the main reason I didn't go..but by the time I said..oh what the heck forget the family party and the office party...I'm going..plane tickets were like 800 and I had to suck down some major disappointment on that one though. I've got a whole hell of a lot of clack to watch from that tour..I don't think I've seen much at all... I did listen to the cellcerts most nights though.

Hey do you want me to go to Clique and kick their ass? They're just down the road for me. They do seem to have their issues..must be the low pay they offer. LOL..Yes I saw a job on Craigslist for them not long after Clay hooked up with them. And it was for my general line of work but the pay was about half of the going rate. Anyway thanks to an FCAer who found one in her area..I just signed up with the fan club pack for half price. Now I'm missing out on the fun of tracking his package. hee So I was thinking...maybe, let's say Friday, we can have a shared video fest - start on Friday and go straight through the weekend to who knows how long. Think for a couple of days what three peices of clack you'd want with you on a desert island and then post the you tube link or download link and maybe what was it about it that makes it a fave. I thnk we'd have such a variety and we can relive some fun times plus chat abut some of our favorite videos. 3 is hard..but I think a limit makes it more fun if our brains doesn't explode..and it can be from concerts or interviews or audio or anything. You can put up one at a time or all three... what say yee? Now off to work. One thing about catching the bus was I was mostly on time. With the car? Not so much. You would think that would work the other way around.
