Actually, I think it says you have to pick 5 in each category. I didn't even attempt it because I don't know anyone else, let alone 5! I need help/suggestions. Happy Birthday Clayzor! :fest30: Only 2 favorite songs? Well right now my favorites are GOG and Falling. Ask me tomorrow and I'll probably say something else like EIDN. TRM makes me cry. I know he told us not to but I can't help thinking of him and what he has gone through the last couple of years when I hear it.

I LOVE this CD! One of my favorites is Grace of God. His southern accent pops out occasionally and you get his lower register. It just sounds easier for him to sing IMO...not in his higher register. I was just listening to it and picturing the Dancing with the Stars contestants dancing the Viennese Waltz to it. **sigh**

No Posters at the K-Marts in Tulsa and Sand Springs, Oklahoma either! I tried to be "nice" while throwing a fit. Told him I was late for work so I could get the CD and poster. I sought out reviews a few months ago...I was thinking about buying a John Legend CD but knew nothing about him. I'm sure there are others out there who do that too. My question is how did we go from Best Pop CD of 2003 to schmaltzy ???? And what does his alleged sexual preference or lack thereof have to do with anything??? What in the heck is that doing in a "review"? When they review a CD for Elton John do they say he is g.a.y?

I'm sad that the reviews are not better...has Billboard written theirs yet? Although they don't sound like actual "reviews" of the music...more of the "man". Do you ever wonder what happened? In 2003-20004 Clay was everywhere and people loved him! What happened? {{{{{annabear}}}}}

Okay guys, I have a question for you. I'm watching AI and Neil Diamond is on. His new CD is coming out May 6th. Do you think he will knock Clay out of the No. 1 spot? Neil Diamond is huge. I would hate that!

CG, not just you...I agree with much of what you said but then again I'm always wondering if there is something wrong with the sound on my TV, especially when watching AI. He did look tired...poor thing, and the band was just way too loud...at least on my TV. I'm sure the CD sounds totally different with back up singers and an orchestra. I liked tha the "mop top" band members were very young...maybe they hope to bring in young fans with the band. Ahh, the JK concert...that was the best! Don't you just wonder though, if Clay could be more like that on TV that he would get more new fans? Some thoughts I've had on this subject...he has said many times that he is much like Sir Robin...timid. On the other hand he has said he feels comfortable on stage...and he must feel quite comfortable on JK and even GMA. Do you think he still has panic attacks? Maybe he is uncomfortable in new settings. Just rambling here. It just seems the Clay we see is so different from the Clay the non fans see and I wish they could see what we get to see. I kept watching QVC after Clay's segment and I believe the guy said they they had 1,300 new customers call in during Clay's segment so I guess the majority of the sales went to members. That's a good thing. OT but did you know you could buy a wedding ring coffin when you get divorced? BWAH! The DJ's on the radio are talking about it...velvet lined. Wonder where you get them. If I recall correctly it will be in the paper in the weekend AFTER the release of On My Way Here...or maybe before. I know it's May. I think the blog article said that the interview in USA Weekend wouldn't be until May 11 (right after the CD comes out, and also Mother's Day). I will be virginal for the complete album, but not for the radio single. *g* Actually, with the way Clay's talking about this album, I think my first listen for this album will be something I haven't done in a LONG time: I will sit down, in front of the good stereo. I will put the CD in the player and hit play. And then....I will take the lyric booklet and follow along. If Clay's making such a big deal about these lyrics, I want to make sure I hear them properly! And then, I'll put the CD into my car stereo after that first listen and get the music/melody side of the equation. Oh, so it will be ? Thank you. All I could think was WTF???? LOL

ME! I find it frightening. No wonder we have a bad rep. That said, however, way back in 2003-2004, it didn't bother me. In fact I thought it was cool. Now I am almost ashamed to admit I am part of this fandom. If I don't call myself a Claymate but rather a Clay fan, will people know the difference? :clay:

OMG how can I get any work done? Just imagine being picked up and held in Clay's arms like that, your arms around his neck, looking down into those eyes, just inches from those lips.....
