I didn't think he was annoyed with the interview (Rodney) at all - just thought he didn't seem happy in general, and with the questions in particular. But then in the radio interview he's hilarious and the print one, as well, so who knows what might have been going on during the first one. Like I said, I don't generally project emotions onto him but definitely got a bad vibe from that one. As always, mileages vary. I do know I'd like him to 'use his voice' on the OFC once in a while (not just when he wants us to buy/support something). Again - mileages, yadda yadda yadda. Also didn't think he skirted the Hunchback question - he said he hadn't even heard of it. Of course I never believed he would do Spam, either

Hmmm - I got the impression (from the video one) he's tired of answering the same questions. I am not one to project things on him but something about this one just doesn't sit right with me - he didn't seem happy. He did say he was in Mexico last week (vacationing one assumes). Guess that old iPad doesn't work from there :-/ Meh. On a squee-worthy note though, I just got a shipping notice from WTTV!!!!!!!!! Squeeeeeee!!!!! And I got Clay's my package in the mail from OFC yesterday. Tote bag is cheap, but the keychain is purrrrrdy, as is the mousepad. ETA: Bwah! that print interview may be the funniest thing he's ever done. *snort*

Safe travels to all those who are (or soon will be) on their way to Asheville. First concert!!!!1!!11!!!!1! One of these days I will get to one of those. But then I have three TT's on the schedule this time and am absolutely thrilled with that. Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Loved the article - the comments, not so much. Nothing I read on the internet surprises me any more - but it sure does reinforce my belief that Clay is doing the right thing keeping Parker out of the public eye as much as possible. jmh123, have you received any more information from OFC about the meet and greet yet? The original email said 'We will be sending specific instructions about the M&G closer to your show date.' Hopefully 'closer' isn't 'soon' redefined LOL!! Dying to know what kind of set up it will be this time around.

Or maybe it's another concert like the one in October... Either way, February in Florida sound niiiiiiiiiiiice.

That's so funny - it really does look like JBT hair. What's cool is that I also have pretty much the same hair style I had in 2005 (after having grown it to shoulder length in the meantime) so *if* we get a photo with the M&G again we will look pretty much the same +5 years (and, errrr.... a few more than 5 pounds in my case)

Belated Happy Birthday greetings to Caro, Scarlett, playbiller and kfmom. Can't believe the tour is less than a week away from starting. The time is flying by! I wonder if they have everything set now and where they are rehearsing?!! I wonder if we'll hear from Clay at all before the tour starts (he hasn't logged into OFC for three weeks now). It would be nice to get a little update from the man himself.

Not jmh, but I'm pretty sure Cheerwine (soda) is actually made in NC (and has been for a long time). I'd call it similar to Cherry Coke or maybe Dr. Pepper but a lot fizzier. I just asked my NC friend how she'd describe it and she said 'bubbly cherry soda, kinda like cherrier Cherry coke'.

The Phineas and Ferb dates/info are also up on the 'News' section of OFC now as well. Did you know that the OFC store has four hi-res wallpapers (made from the promo pics) available to 'buy' with your points? I snagged the Clay On the Rocks one today because it's my favorite of all the suit pics. I think I'll get the Richie Cunningham one, too - just because.

Just because I'm too lazy to be original I'm just going to copy my post from OFC :-O Great appearance - he got in as much as any guest host does, and what he did get to say was well spoken. He is such a good listener - you can tell just by watching how he reacts to what others are saying. I thought his point about DADT was well made (the correlation to asking white people about segregation in the 50's - just because a lot of them were for it didn't make it right, nor should they necessarily be the ones making the decision). You can tell the ladies like him - at least Whoopi, Joy and Sherri. Elizabeth - mehhhh.I really enjoyed Whoopi this time and I was pleasantly surprised by Bret Michaels. I think that's the first time I've ever actually heard him speak and thought he was quite charming. I loved the little aside to Clay about him not needing to make excuses. And I gotta say I agree - lots of kids are assholes, and without any help from their parents. *g* All in all a great show for him, and the exit interview was a hoot. I loved what the stage manager (?) said - he IS cooler than ever and comfortable in his skin. I *heart* him like crazy.

Is WTVI a PBS station? If so, KEWL!!! Annnd, I googled to find out it's a PBS in Charlotte! Finally an NC station. YAY! There is a one-day-only contest on OFC to win tickets to any Timeless Tour show. Doesn't say if they are great tix or not. I entered - I figure what the heck, if I should win I could always donate the tickets I bought to WWMAD or something.
