I checked my gifts on Chase and it says zero. Hmmm - it took it off my screen so I'm not sure what to say. Frustrating!!ETA - okay it was back when I went back to look, lol. Has Karen voted her two? Re the first gift...weird...I didn't have to, it just said I could use it to vote...and I did! You know how there are those 'not even for Clay' lines in the sand everybody has? Well Facebook is Karen's, lol. Nothing on this earth will convince her to join Facebook (even under a fake name).

I have a gift vote for somebody to use. When the box popped up after 5 it would not let me put my own name in there so not sure what that was about. I sent that one to luckiest1 *waves. I need somebody for the second one.

And I feel like I maybe contributed to this as well - I was being a teeny bit sarcastic with my 'must be from some other board' because I was feeling a tad bit defensive also (being a big fan of the Creed). I understand FCA was practically borne of the need to vent about things happening elsewhere, but when you don't read at those other places anymore and an generalized post like Fear's happens - I can't help but feel like maybe it's 'me'. As for anyone being 'mad at Clay' for the breakup, well all I can say is 'you've got to be kidding' - but then, sadly, I know you're not. Oh brother!! Funny, I always figured Reed would be the one needing a cup if anything ever happened between them. Silly me. ETA: the problem with that, aikim, is if I don't know what or whom you're speaking of it's hard not to feel that way. As far as I knew only a few people here (including me) even mentioned the split in any kind of 'invested' way. Didn't know anybody was feeling 'mad' at Clay (or Reed for that matter) and that wasn't specifically referred to in the original post(s) I responded to. The 'fan behavior' you're referring to didn't happen here. See?

I'm going to assume (heh) you guys are talking about things happening on other boards, because I don't really see anybody who is overly invested in Clay's (or Reed's) personal business here on FCA. Then again that's probably because I don't consider admiring Reed or enjoying the idea of the two of them happy and in love as being overly invested. So yeah, I was (and am) unhappy to hear that it didn't work out just like I would be about anybody I care about.

cindilu, I haven't seen the show yet but read about it at CV. I really liked Alex too and I felt so bad for him last night. Did they say whether he would get another chance next year or is he done now? And did they show who had been in the bottom? They did say he would be invited back next year - they didn't say if it would be a pass right into the top 10 (or whatever number they use next season). He is having surgery on the tendon on Tuesday and they said 3 months rest after that, but should recover fully. Ashley and Billy were the other two in the bottom three. Thanks for all the good wishes, ladies and a huge thank you to luckiest1 for changing her plans to go along with me to Hammond.

Man, does anybody watch SYTYCD? Alex is freakin' amazing and just danced my favorite dance in 7 seasons. The only time since AI2 and Clay that I wished I could vote for a reality show.
