  1. Ansa - Has anybody spoken for Hark The Herald Angels Sing / O Come All Ye Faithful? If not I'd be glad to take it or any other needed. It's no hardship to listen to (and watch) Clay.
  2. Couchie - Great blog! I especially loved the above quote. You're so right that we may never have had Lover All Alone if there had been no ATDW and bless David Foster ( I think it was him?) that pushed Clay to write the words to that song. It's definitely my favorite song. As to whether Clay was really feeling all those emotions at that time or as you said, was "chomping on a hot pocket" we will probably never know. What excites me (heh) is the anticipation that he will write more. Can't wait to see what will happen this year. Bring it on Clay.....we're ready! :00000441:
  3. dreamlarge - I loved your Year In Review montage. That just gave me chills seeing all those moments again and realizing how very fortunate we all are to be able to see the "transformation" of Clay. Watching moments from a whole year really makes you realize just how much he has changed and I'm not just talking about the hair. Clay is looking so much more mature and confident. Yeah, he's so sure of himself and "us" that he can say "crotch" during a Christmas concert! Wonder what his mama thought of that! hehe I just think that this years banter during the concerts showed everyone just how quick-witted he can be. He just gets better and better. Oh yeah! Happy New Year to everyone at FCA! I know I don't post very often anymore, but I'm here reading all the time and it's my favorite place to be. Oh, and bottlecap, thanks for the link to Jemock's blog. That has to be one of the funniest things I've read in a long time. A great big BWAAAHHHHH to the whole thing! :fest30: :fest30:
  4. Whether Clay leaves RCA or not is not something I think or worry about because I do believe Clay has been handling his career and life just fine. He's come a long way in just a few years and when you think about all the changes he's had in his life it's amazing how totally normal he acts. I'm sure he probably has people advising him, but it seems that he makes his own choices, at least most of the time, and his life is not too shabby so far. What I do find totally interesting is how much fun Clay seemed to have in that interview with Ryan. I've listened to it several times and the one-liners just pop out of that boy's mouth. The part that totally cracked me up was the "licking at your ankles". Both Ryan and Clay were like "huh?", until Clay realized she meant "nipping at your heels". He just cracked up and then totally embarrassed her by asking why she was so red. Just so hysterical! I can't wait to see him on the Regis and Kelly show because he's so quick witted. He's going to hold his own with Kelly. Also just read today that the Dancing With the Stars finalists will be there, so he'll probably talk about how he can't dance. We know better!
  5. Taylor's Cd was listed as #76 on Amazon. It's there, but way down the list.
  6. I have no idea what concert it was, but I do remember seeing clips of Clay dropping his microphone during a song, then quickly picking it up. He was holding it funny when he grabbed it, but kept on singing.
  7. Yes, it's me again......one of the lurkers. I've got issues with all of you. I'm not much of a poster but I do love FCA and I come here almost every day to see what's going on. You have all kept me so informed and totally entertained with your snarky comments. I do love reading all the posts, but lately it's been taking a big chunk of my time trying to read them all. OMG! I miss one day of reading and I have to go back a bunch of pages so I won't miss anything. LOL It's sooooo good to see that much activity here. Love it! There's another big board that I won't mention that I've just given up on because of all the conspiracy theories. Geez! As much as some people would like Clay to be the biggest thing ever I really just hope that he's having the time of his life and enjoying every minute of it. I know I am.
  8. I checked out the official website and you're right about the judges. They are Clay, Daisy Fuentes, and Babyface. So glad to hear Clay speak!!!! Now, if we could just hear that boy sing. Whoever is singing now, sounds horrible! Maybe it's just the cellstream, but it sure doesn't sound good.
  9. OMG.....The cover of People Magazine. Wonder what's next! Cellstream is finally clear enough to hear most of what's being said.
  10. I'm trying to listen to the Clayversity cellstream, but I can't understand much of anything being said. Hope it gets better.
  11. This is my first cellstream, but I am waiting patiently......well I'm trying. Got the jammies on, got food and drink, now all I need is to hear Clay. eeeeeeeeeeeeee!
  12. I just found out that Clayversity is having a cellstream tonight from the David Foster Star Search. eeeeeeeee!!!!! If you're signed up for it the cellstream starts at 7:00 PST (10:00 EST) Guess we won't hear much from Clay (at least no singing!), but I'll take what I can get. Just to hear him critique the contestants will be fun.
  13. Ansa - I'm definitely not a ATDW virgin. Bet I've listened to those clips a zillion times, so I vote for keeping the music. I'm so ready to hear the whole cd. Sept 19th is getting closer! Georgiaclay - Did you mention shackles? Oh my! The thoughts going through my head. Bottlecap mentioned the Activities Director showing Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I think I'm up for a dark theater, especially if I'm shackled to Clay! :27:
  14. Really? You want us to calm down after you mention Clay and When A Man Loves A Woman in the same sentence? ha! No way, No how. I've loved hearing Clay sing a lot of different songs, but that is the one that has to be my all-time favorite......even though he only sang just a little tiny bit of it. I want the whole dang thing! hehe Of course, if I heard and saw him performing the whole song I'd be totally ready for that padded room. So......I probably need to go ahead and just reserve that dang room, just in case I get lucky some day. haha Get your mind out of the gutter! Bottlecap - I just loved your description of the cotton ball jacket Nurse Locke is wearing. Great observation! Also just wanted to know what kind of "activities" are on the schedule with that good looking Activities Director, cause I need to get signed up pronto. Don't want to miss a minute of it.
  15. That had to be the greatest blog by Clay ever. Total snark! I loved how he teased us about so many different things. He just knows us so well. He gives us a hint about the photo shoot, but no pictures for us to devour, but he let us know he did wear striped socks! He knew we wanted to know about the socks. ha! And him listening to the bad boot-legged copy of ATD. We can't get away with anything!
  16. bottlecap - BWAH!!!!!!!! They are both just soooooo cute in their party hats!
  17. Hi everyone! You keep asking for the lurkers to come out and play and here I am, but there's nobody here to play with. I know it's been a while since I've posted, but I have been reading everything. You guys are such fun and always have something interesting to say. I guess I haven't had much to say lately. There was so much excitement when Clay appeared on AI5. All that talk about seeing him again and his new "hair style". Of course, you can only talk about the hair so long, then it's time to move on. I do understand that Clay and team are working to get everything ready and when that happens it's going to be great, but in the meantime there's just not a lot going on except rumors. We all know that you can't put much faith in all the talk about when the cd will be out because it's just speculation at this point. I do have full faith that it's going to be a wild ride when he does come out of hiding. We are going to be seeing Clay in all his glory everywhere we look and hearing that beautiful voice of his. Oh and I was searching for an appropriate emoticon to add here and realized that there are a lot of dancing bananas, dancing broccoli and drinking emoticons here. This is just such fun bunch! Hey, that says dancing pickle! I thought it was broccoli!
  18. Oh boy....I totally agree with this. After I read what you guys wrote about the AI2 Tour I went back last night and watched the Wilkes-Barre Invisible again. I didn't get to see that tour live, but it's so much fun watching Clay and seeing the joy on his face. I can't imagine what he must have been feeling.....have thousands of screamings fans cheering for you....and what about all those panties thrown on stage. Here is a young man who planned on being a teacher. As he has said, his life was all mapped out. Then, along comes AI and legions of women adoring him. It must have been a shock! Of course, I do think he totally loves knowing how we feel about him, even though he may not understand it. What's really fun is watching old and then new videos of him and seeing the way he has matured and grown as a performer and man. We get so used to how he looks now, but then you realize how baby faced he was during AI! He's definitely become a man......oh what a mighty fine man! Also.....he's hawt! heehee
  19. Oh No Bottlecap! I missed your birthday by one day. I'm adding my best wishes. Hope your birthday was wonderful. I try to drop by here as often as I can to see what is going on and I always leave with a smile after reading your posts. Happy Birthday!
  20. Bwah.....that was hilarious! Thanks Ansamcw for the link. Don't you just love how creative Clay's fans are? I especially loved his butler!
  21. That picture of Clay with the giraffe just makes me smile. How can you not love a guy that is willing to let the giraffe get that close to his face and allow someone to take a picture of it! I especially love how he's leaning back . You just know that the closer the giraffe got the more he leaned back....hee! The past year has been a very exciting time for all of us Clay fans. Even though I was not able to see him "live" in concert this year I did get to enjoy it all because of the wonderful videographers, photographers, and everyone who made it possible for us fans to access it all on their websites. Much love to all of you! I am so looking forward to this year. I'm even thinking of getting a new computer, so I'll have plenty of harddrive space to hold all the clack that I know is coming. When the cd comes out, you know he's going to be promoting it, which means more appearances and concerts! WooHoo! Hey bottlecap - Isn't it weird that everywhere you look there are penquins? Like in ads, greeting cards, etc. Maybe I'm just noticing them because of all our talk about penguins.....but maybe someone in an ad agency somewhere saw the photo of Clay with the penguin and thought "Clay likes penguins, so maybe all his millions of fans will look at any ad with a penguin in it!". What would work even better for them is putting Clay's lovely face (and body) in an ad. I'm still waiting to see Clay in one of those milk ads. Don't you think he'd be perfect!
  22. I am a member of Clayversity, so I'll check on it. Thanks!
  23. Thanks Couch Tomato - I'm not a member of CH. I did try but guess they didn't want me. Never heard anything from them. Oh well.....they just don't know what they're missing.
  24. Love this new format. Bottlecap you did a great job and really enjoyed everyones comments. I do have a dumb question. How do you get the cellstream? I looked at Clayversity and it said subscriptions were closed. Is there another way?
