  1. In the past, one poster's opinion would have been given more weight People were questioning her review way before JJ posted. It was very refreshing. I commented on that fact.
  2. I would LOVE to post but wouldn't people think it odd since my status over there is lurker at best? God knows I can't stand the green ink. I didn't know what you all were talking about. Then I went over and read the 'expert's' review. Damn, she just knows everything about everything and everybody. I wonder if she ever sleeps.
  3. Am I the only one who finds it interesting that they didn't give this person a gender?
  4. I am feeling a bit better about the article. I do know that people can be happy and not be in a relationship. I just think he has so much love to give...it makes me sad that he can't share that. I do believe that when Clay does find that special person, he will want to be able to devote time to her. But, come on, Clay, you can still date. You don't have to marry the girl. I was my husband's first serious girlfriend and he was 27. Clay's life has been nuts since he was 24, so I guess I can understand it. I am surprised that he even talked about it.
  5. That article made me feel like crying. If he was telling the truth about his relationships, it makes me sad that he doesn't have love in his life. It sounds like he's never had it. All he does is put himself down. He did himself no favors with that interview. He did say that he hopes doing Spamalot will make men more open to admitting to being a fan of his. After reading that, most men would be turned off. I kinda wish I hadn't read it. Can anyone find anything good in that article to make me feel better? Oh, that picture is horrible. It's distorted.
  6. I think a lot of people are hoping that doing Spamalot is going to earn Clay some respect. Give him some street cred. Maybe it won't actually be cool to like Clay Aiken, but it's a start. If people can change some of their preconceived notions about Clay, that could open some doors for him. Maybe even radio. Summer tour: I think people are just used to seeing Clay in the summer and they are hoping for a tour. Because he does his annual Christmas tour, they know that if he doesn't tour in the summer that will push a tour to 2009. Speculating is fun. I'd love a summer tour. If there isn't one, I guess I'll save some money.
  7. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! My Spamalot pins arrived with no postage due. Now I just need to go to NY again so that I can wear them to a show.
  8. When my family went with me on the first Sunday night performance, they went back to the hotel and waited at the stage door. Clay came out quickly and I walked back to the hotel by myself. I was able to get Clay's autograph, Christopher Seibert's and the guy who plays Prince Herbert. I adore him. He's such a cutie and so talented.
  9. I've been doing that all day. Last week at this time I was: getting on the plane for NY; arriving at the hotel: entering the theatre; listening to Clay's English accent for the first time; and sitting there with a shit-eating grin on my face.
  10. If it's by email address, anyone can create multiple email addresses by using Yahoo, Hotmail and many other options. I'm confused.
  11. jax5230 at the Clayboard is reporting that Clay is in the audience for Dream Girls tonight with Mary and Sean!
  12. The interviewer could see his mismatched socks, so I'm guessing they were in the same room.
  13. I've really only read here and CV so far. The majority seem to love it and are proud of Clay. A few have concerns but they aren't being OTT about it. So far, I'm impressed with the reaction.
  14. That was one of my favorite lines. He really is taking his life back. He's not letting anyone push him around.

  16. Bwah! Todd seems to be the mother of many boards. Even the PROC (pre-CH) was there for a while, although I actually hung out more in CB at that time. Todd is long gone now. Thank goodness.
  17. I know! I know!!! The board was formed by some disgruntled members from RHT/Eayor. They were the positivity patrol. They left because they didn't like that some people in Eayor thought there was a chance that Clay could be gay. I joined the board to stay in touch with friends, but most of them gravitated to CV, so I can contact them there.
  18. Julia did have a baby but I don't think she got married.
  19. Gibby, A man in the audience made a comment that it was comfortable where he was (up in the balcony) and invited Clay up there. He said, "No, thank you!" That's the gist of it, anyway.
