  1. I vote for Ashes for the next single. I just love that song and I think it could do well on radio...with some promotion. This is the most I've ever posted here. It's kinda fun.
  2. Whaddya know? Guess Parker's birth is that second wave of cd promotion! Time to release that second single by new dad, Clay Aiken.
  3. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so happy today. It really is like a member of the family just had a baby. I feel so proud. Wish I could go visit at the hospital. I'd even bring a gift.
  4. What? I changed my babies' diapers. My babies were in the bassinet in the room with me. If I wanted to get any sleep, I had to wheel them down to the nursery and ask them to take care of the baby for a few hours. My kids are 19 and 17. Those nurses did not change diapers. At least not up here in Minnesota.
  5. I'm not invested in their being in a romantic relationship. It would just make if perfect, if it were true. They can have a perfectly happy and normal family life without it. I think Jaymes is going to become a Tarheel.
  6. This is a really off-the-wall idea, but it's been running through my head since I first heard the news. I am two years younger than Jaymes. If I were her, and I was in love with a 29-year-old man who I knew wanted to have his own biological children, I would be hesitant to make a commitment unless I knew I could give him what he wanted. So, if this is a romantic relationship, does anyone think it's possible that she wanted to give birth before she would make a commitment? You can tell me if you think I'm just crazy. (I wish I had a 29-year-old lover that looked like Clay so I could test this theory.)
  7. Thanks, Kim. I hope you are right. He deserves to be happy.
  8. Kim, Will you explain why you feel this way? I actually hope that they are in a romantic relationship and I'd like to know why you feel this statement may imply that. Paulette
  9. For Clay, I think, and I hope, that his career is the last thing on his mind right now. He has a brand new baby boy and he's getting used to the idea of calling himself Daddy. I hope he tells us more about this little miracle. His career will be there next year. I can wait. Me, too!
  10. Congratulations to Clay and Jaymes on the birth of Parker Foster Aiken. I am thrilled for all of them and extremely happy that he is healthy.
  11. me. (West Point and Red Bank, too) I was there, too. Second row and we were so excited because he had really been working the stage that tour. When we realized he wouldn't be leaving the stool, we were disappointed, but it turned out to be a fantastic show. I had my brand new camera and every shot I took of him looked the same - from the side. He entered and left from my side of the stage. I had been videoing when he finished AIW. He said to stop taking pictures of the sick person (paraphrase) and I immediately dropped my camera. It's a night I will never forget.
  12. He isn't played in the Mpls/St. Paul area, either. I hope the station is monitored and will show up on Media Base.
  13. I really don't think David Cook is stealing away Clay fans. The baby mess and the silence is affecting a lot of people
  14. I was in Tulsa and saw that live. He also touched my hand that night. Sigh.
  15. I am surrounded by 4 8 month pregnant women at work...where's the darn picture? Is it top secret?
  16. Bottom of the ninth. It's been a good game. Go Twins!!
  17. What are they saying in that song? It sounds like "wrapped up like a douche, another runner in the night." It could be deuce, but that doesn't make sense either.
  18. Probably for his protection. It's close to an exit and it was reported that Jerome was standing in the back. That way, he could watch Clay's back.
  19. I have absolutely no problem with this scenario. Love is ageless. Besides, Jaymes looks at Clay with goo goo eyes. She has it bad. Hee.
