Not really, I was just curious in case something else needed to be arranged like flights and housing or if I need to clear out a room for whatever it is.... I'm in a logistics mindset these days. (I'm sure Solo was scared to read that... or suspicious!)

So does anyone have a opinion on which concert video I should choose? The solo tour Raleigh one or the IT tour?

She's probably giving you a DVD of a download that is available. It's the full IT with Kelly and Clay and the quality is OK. If you want Clay only, go for the Solo tour in Raleigh. It's more Clay than you'd get in the IT DVD.

I wasn't on the boards then, but I heard that it was from one of those Yahoo videos. Someone was able to cap the audio but they didn't know how to cap the video at the time.

I know the clip, but I heard that it wasn't capped. It was early on and people weren't as experienced as they are now. If I'm wrong and that video clip is out there, I'd love to see it.

Is it heresy for me to say that I think that Simon was correct in saying that Clay was not what he was looking for in a pop star?

He wasn't looking for a cute geeky boy with a great voice. He wanted a pop star to make him a whack of money, to fill huge arenas with screaming dancing fans, someone who can sing the music that sells millions of CDs, year after year.

Simon could have been right, but Ruben wasn't what they were looking for, either.

Mandy was one of my least favorite songs from the JBT. Tonight's version was much better. I can actually listen to it all the way through without tuning out.

I think Clay still is a role model. He's nothing like his own father who was a womanizer and an alcoholic.

Clay may have a drink once in a while, but I doubt that he drinks to excess on a regular basis. Just about everyone swears once in a while. I doubt that it's a huge part of his vocabulary. I am shocked when my kids are around their friends and swear words slip out of their mouths. They don't talk like that around me.

Clay is still devoted to his causes. I think he respects all people. Given his sexual orientation, he can't exactly be married, so sex outside of marriage is to be expected.

I think he is the same man. He has just matured as we all do.

I would be proud if my son grew up to be as good a man as Clay is.

today in the mail was my niece's Clay Spamalot poster.

Instead of being signed by just Clay the whole cast signed it

BUT

Clay's signature is way up at the top alone

and everyone else is way at the bottom

That is wonderful. I hope she has it framed.

I hope it is alright to post this here. I have to get rid of my Clay stuff. Please, don't anyone interpret this as me no longer being a fan. He will always have my love, support, and respect. I plan to continue following his career. It's just that I will be doing it from afar. I will still attend concerts and buy his cd, only no longer in multiples. I have a BlackBerry and I charge it every couple of days. I guess it depends on how much you use it. I use it to browse the boards while I'm at work on breaks and lunch and I use it occasionally as a phone.

I didn’t use it at all yesterday and the battery was dead when I got up this morning. I’m thinking something has to be wrong with it or I’m doing something wrong.

Mine is almost two years old and still holds a charge well. Maybe you have a bad battery.
