  1. I finance all of my Clay trips with my own money from birthday presents, Christmas money and anything else that I earn on my own. I don't feel that my Clay trips should be financed with 'family' money. Well, I went to NY two weeks ago and I have a huge credit card bill to pay. This was one of my gifts today.

My husband wanted to give me $100 towards my trip and thought it would be funny to put Clay's picture on a $100 dollar bill (it even says Clay Aiken under the picture). Then, he got my daughter to use her Paint Shop Pro to make the money and my son suggested the back design.

I loved it!! And I love my supportive family!!!

  2. Muski, they will show you what is available. They are numbered.

Here's what I posted at OFC and CV:

I am way too old stand for two hours. I am beat but I'm so pumped because I saw the gorgeous man up close and personal.

    EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

    STAGE DOOR

I got an autograph and a picture. Toni, he is FUCKING GORGEOUS. I mean really, really gorgeous. He had beautiful jeans that hugged his buns. He grabbed my Playbill and signed it without looking. I commented that I was getting a blind Playbill. Clay said that sometimes those are the best ones.

    I'm so glad I came.

    EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

It was definitely a NJU crowd. No reaction when Clay came out in the tower or when he sang the idol line. Since I was in SRO, I didn't woop from way back there.

I hadn't seen the show since last March. He has really changed things up. His dancing is much better. He seems more confident and fluid. Maybe someone is giving him some pointers.

When he kissed the dice girl, it was a good kiss. Much better than the one he gave Tyra. He puckered up and so did she. I wasn't sure if they were each going to lean in, but they did.

Clay seemed to be more featured this time. I thought he was more front and center during the Camelot scene. He looks so happy up there. He is changing the way he says some of the lines and uses different voices. His slo-mo scene really seemed to be in slow motion tonight. Maybe it's because I was so far back.

YWSOB was awesome. No whoops when he gave us a great butt shot. Really great tunic flip.

He sang the AMEN. It was gorgeous and it got a great crowd reaction. The other knights had to wait to try to copy it.

He came out with his top hat flat and then popped it on his head.

We got a hip thrust. I didn't see a salute but he was a dancing fool.

When he came out to stage door, he looked so tiny next to Jerome. He was wearing jeans and a hoodie. No jacket. I think it was the Carolina jersey. I'm in the Aiken fog right now.

My camera was acting up. I recognized Meg Leisey of the OFC so I went to stand by her. She is a lovely girl and it's her 21st birthday. I asked her if she would take my picture with Clay and then I took her picture with Clay. I'll have to wait for Meg to get home to New Jersey. She said she'll post it tonight.

I want to EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE with someone and I'm all alone. Just like King Arthur.

  3. Thankful! Have a blast...and tell me how winging it for SRO works, too, 'kay? :lilredani:

luckiest---stay dry and keep those reports coming!

No problem getting a SRO ticket. I was there around 5:00 and there were several SRO available. I got center orch 105. I hope I can handle standing/leaning for two hours.

Luckiest contacted me about getting together and so did another member. I'm trying to work out the details. It will be nice to meet some of the members here.

  4. Wow, there are so many FCAers coming this weekend, we should have done a dinner or something!

I've never met you but I think I might recognize you in person. I have met Scarlett but I'm not sure if she remembers me. I'd be happy to meet up for a lunch or dinner, but I don't like to be pushy. If anyone would like to meet, send me a PM here. I'll have my laptop with me. It's also okay if you don't want to meet up. I don't mind being alone.

Muski, if I do SRO, I'll let you know how that goes. The weather here is awful and I heard it's bad in New York, so who knows how long it will take me to get there.

  5. I believe the peasant was gerwhisp from CB.

I'm leaving tomorrow morning for NY. I'll be there until Sunday. I have tickets for both shows on Saturday and the matinee on Sunday. I'm not trusting my flight tomorrow, so I didn't get a ticket for Friday night. I might do SRO.

  6. Evidence? Evidence?? Whassat?

Speaking of white picket mansions...did you look at the pictures on Reed's Myspace? He posted a picture of his home....a sweet, warm cute little house with...you guessed it...a white picket fence! I think it might be fate.

I believe that is his parents' house. They live in Minnesota, just like me!

My birthday was last Thursday. Thanks for the wishes.

  7. Here's the Q & A!

    edit

    Is it the whole thing?

    Bless you!

It IS the whole thing!!! Someone sent it to me and I don't know who recorded it but whoever that brave soul is deserves a medal!!

And his love for ATDW sure didn't sound like label enforced spin to me! It sounded like he actually does love it!

What a concept. Clay may actually mean what he says! :P

I haven't listened to it yet. Too bad this won't be vaulted. I'm sure the link would be zapped on most boards.

  8. I'm with dancermom (*waves*). It was a fun, fun show! Many of the shows I attended last spring were special to me as "family outings" with the fandom. Last night, it was like wandering in to a great new show on Broadway. It was more complete, more cohesive and more about the show than about having a reunion with friends in the audience. I love how this cast works together! BTW, complete signed posters and playbills are available at $40 for a poster and $20 for a playbill -- anyone want one? Thankful4Clay I have your October playbill here with me all packaged up, just need to actually mail it.

    THANK YOU!!
