jmh123
Nope - getting farther away. Canfly is closer than she realizes with this one: It could require one diamond, or thirteen. Female Spider looking for a rich boyfriend?
canfly172
For diamonds, I got Shine, lol. Shine has nuttin' to do with Spiders, althought their webs do shine in the sunlight. Nope - getting farther away. Canfly is closer than she realizes with this one: It could require one diamond, or thirteen. Female Spider looking for a rich boyfriend? canfly172
Scratches AIW and MCWL off the list. OK, so if we can get this, that means either we're really, really dense or your clues really, really suck.
jmh123
Y'all should have this by now. OK, to review (and I did some helpful rearranging). I didn't repeat every Q & A just because I'd have to quote nearly every post. And the password is "creepy crawly octoped." And the password is "creepy crawly octoped." Ewwwwwwwww... Well I KNOW Clay never sang "I Don't Like Spiders And Snakes". Canfly, you're getting warm. Well, octoped would have to be octopus or spider, lol. Did Clay ever sing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider", lol? ...still warm. The original clue has a clue about the clue in it. This one isn't "like jeopardy" it's "like ...." What is Password? A game like Jeopardy where a clue leads to a response. In this case the response is a clue to the song. So I guess we need another one..... 1. man 2. web 3. ??? Another clue? Totally different angle: It could require one diamond, or thirteen. Yes, he recorded it. Nope - getting farther away. Canfly is closer than she realizes with this one: Female Spider looking for a rich boyfriend? Latest clue: This song was performed on two different tours, and three times on national television. jmh123
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So you're playing password and you're trying to get your partner to say, "solitaire." You give spider as a clue: spider man, spider web, spider solitaire. Right? Right?
treenuts
So you're playing password and you're trying to get your partner to say, "solitaire." You give spider as a clue: spider man, spider web, spider solitaire. Right? Right? Ok, but that was a stretch IMO If we're going to play it that way, then.... Clue for next song: Troubling news for the pipe coral
canfly172
What the fuck hell is a spider solitaire? Is that a ring or a card game, lol? Right... google sez... OK, so it's a card game. I was actually assuming a ring cuz I know diddly about diamonds and diamonds was a clue. Never heard of it, so that was a totally wasted clue on me. All of the stuff re: me thinking the song HAD to have something to do with spider, did me not one iota of good cuz I've never heard of it. All that work and I'd have never have gotten it in a million years! Oh and BTW.... I DID make one sort of joke that flew over your head, so I feel better, lol. I said: QUOTE (canfly172 @ Aug 22 2009, 02:55 PM) What is Password? I KNOW what the game Password is, lol...but I was phrasing it in the form of a Jeopardy question. You took me seriously and thought I was actually asking what Password was: QUOTE (jmh123 @ Aug 22 2009, 03:00 PM) A game like Jeopardy where a clue leads to a response. In this case the response is a clue to the song. So.... Treenuts? We're playing Password still? Troubling news for the pipe coral That's a hella lot more than one word clues, lol. OK, so first is to find out what's killing pipe coral right? And then whatever THAT is, is the first Password clue? Man you guys are TOUGH. This is such an edumakashunul place! Google sez: What's Killing Florida's Coral Reefs? Hector Florin Source: Time November 26, 2008 The disaster in south Florida is invisible from above water but the damage is horrific. Hundreds of yards of sensitive coral reefs, part of the largest such ecosystem in the United States, have been sliced through by boats in two incidents over the last month. So, tube coral is near Florida and the bad news is boats. So the first password clue is "boats"???? Is the song Bridge Over Troubled Water? In this case the response is a clue to the song. Actually, I used your comment as an opportunity to spell out what I meant by password for our game, in case my hints about that had failed--it just another hint. But it's not hard at all to say something that will fly over my head. Happens all the time. The clue "It could require one diamond, or thirteen" and all those that followed were spider free, so you could've gotten it from that. So yeah, treenuts, what kind of a clue? Password, Jeopardy, or something new?
canfly172
Oh like I was gonna get Solitaire out of "It could require one diamond, or thirteen" Doesn't a diamond Solitaire MEAN it's only ONE diamond?
