It's up on YOUTUBE........
(you're welcome... )
-
He's everywhere!! Now he's been seen on the most popular
dance show of the season!!
I do agree with the hair opinions expressed here however....
Do you think maybe Jamie is a little too "down home" for him???
(hair stylist-wise)??
-
here ya go!!!
BWAH!!!
-
OMG - page ONE?????
Can't wait to see Clay!
(I didn't miss it did I??)
OMG - that was so cute!!!! I'll have some screencaps in a few mins.......
-
BTW, can anyone identify Clay's shirt, where he wore it? I'm wracking my brain, and nothing is clicking. Pictures would be helpful. *g*
Clay wore that shirt on his visit home to Raleigh - he has it on
when he gets out of the little bus at the Y and rolls out the "world's
longest greeting card"- and again in the helicopter before the Bulls
game NA (he's changed to a jersey by the time he lands on the field...)
I think there is a still somewhere of him in the helicopter in that shirt.
I have also seen Ryan wearing it at some point but I would have
to go thru a lot of footage to figure that one out!!

Just a drive by to say hi.
I've been feeling weird lately - like I'm in Limbo waiting for something to start.
Oh wait - I already am.....

I have another idea....
How about we just make the artwork available to all and then everyone can
make whatever item they prefer using Cafe Press? Do we have a gallery we
could put it in? Or we could send them in email or something. Or are we going
to set up a store on Cafe Press?
Another note about the buttons. I can make just one button of a certain
thing very easily.
-
I love the idea of some t-shirts!! I also love the idea of the Doing Clay Aiken Tour.
I also have a suggestion.
If someone (anyone) will make a list of all the sayings I can make BUTTONS.
That is if anyone would like buttons. I made this for my bunco group this week.
I can make 1¼, 2¼, and 3 inch buttons. For a couple bucks each plus postage!
QUESTION: where did THIS come from?
-
I am so behind...
I'm back from Texas since 12:30 am Monday, but here it is Wed and I am still tired!
You all produced pages and pages while I was gone and I had limited time (on a Mac
I might add - didn't like it - not used to it!!) to skim the pages and get the gist of what
was going on!
I got to see a glmpse of Kimmel and saw Clay sitting on the horse and the quip about
Obi-wan, and got to see the rest on Friday. He was cute, but I have to admit, it's not
my favorite appearance. What a hoot that the horse had a hard-on!! I guess Clay has
effect on everybody!!
Thanks for 'splaining Mo'nique! I have seen her a bunch on various shows (the View,
Best Week Ever, etc...) and never knew where she came from! I found a "Charm
School" vid on youtube, it looks like it's a hoot!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tW5IL1TyiWY
(the pretty link-maker code doesn't seem to be working for me!)
There are quite a few Flavor of Love vids too. http://youtube.com/watch?v=dd4GjbzwtSU
I wonder if anyone else has had trouble with the new version of Internt Explorer?
Ever since I upgraded, I've been getting blue screens saying that Windows had a problem
and had to shut down.
Has anyone discovered the streaming video of Clay's appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel
section of abc.com?? I love Kimmel's wit. Who is taking credit for the Climmel Love pin?
Didja miss me???

eta: 'gasm - which concert was that Solitaire hissy fit in?? I tried to look back for your post,
but I really have to go finish packing for Houston!!
cha cha, it was at the York State Fair for the NAT.
RATS - it doesn't look like anyone got good clack from that one!!
Do you know of any? (I was in the nosebleed seats... ) Thanks Claygasm!!
eta: I found some at CV! downloading now.......
:laola0:
I just listened to what I had, it sounds like he repeated the "every road
that takes him..." lines. LOL! I would love to have seen him stomp his feet!

cha cha trusty I love that Claymobile picture. Who is sitting in the car? LOL
Clayzor - that is my friend wuzie and myself. I am in the driver's seat.
This was right before the first time I ever saw Clay which was at the NCC Basketball
game when he sang the NA and then performed at halftime. HERE is the BEVR
(Broad's Eye View Report) I wrote about it.
Someone told me before we went in, "you think you love him now?
Just WAIT till you hear him LIVE!"
And that's what all this :Tour4: is all about, isn't it???????? LOL
Except when it's ALL ABOUT LOVE!!!
:F_05BL17blowkiss: :Tour3: :F_05BL17blowkiss: :Tour3: :F_05BL17blowkiss:
ChaChaTrusty..oh I remember that Delaware concert and the pouring rain. How could you stand it?OMG - it was awful. I was wearing a poncho and trying to keep my camera dry,
and take a few photos, and a little surreptitious video (for which I got busted!!!).
My daughter (same age as Clay) was sitting beside me, not wearing a poncho,
not wearing much of anything, actually... she had one of those diamond-shaped
tops that ties around the neck and has no back. I think her look was up there
with a wet t-shirt look only more glamourous! She said she thought Clay was
checking her out all night! I had hoped they would meet and fall in love, but
alas, it was not to be!! The concert was great but my god, were we cold and wet!!
And also, I couldn't see either with or without my glasses, because of the rain!
That was simultaneously, my best and worst seat to date!
eta: 'gasm - which concert was that Solitaire hissy fit in?? I tried to look back for your post,
but I really have to go finish packing for Houston!!
LOVE the yahoo interview!

welcome geekette! :F_05BL17blowkiss:
In answer to your question... I don't know either city at all (never been to either one)
but according to google maps, it's nearly an 8-hour drive from SF to SD. I'm sure there
must be a bus or something you can take, or I guess you'd be renting a car... it could be
fun if you really like seeing the countryside I guess! I'd do it it I wanted to see people
in both places!
Here're the google map directions.
And I found this travel message board that might help to shed some light on the topic!
Apparently there are a lot of B&Bs along that route.
eta: I wasn't quick enough! Couchie found the same board!
:nature-smiley-014:
I also want to welcome alliesmom!! It's been a few days since you showed up,
and I keep forgetting!
In answer to the best seat question... I suppose the best seat I had was 3rd row center
at Wolf Trap (JBT). At the Delaware St Fair (NAT), I had 2nd row center seats, which should
have been excellent, except that it was not under cover and it was pouring rain! At the York
St Fair (NAT), I had nose bleed seats, because I decided to go at the last minute and that was
the best I could find. In AC, Diva and I sat in the back row. (we started in the 11th row behind
a bunch of Amazons... ) I got some good photos tho, especially of the glowsticks during TRD!
A funny story about the York SF... behind me was a gay couple and I struck up a convo
with them. I asked them when they had last seen Clay and they hadn't seen him since AI!
I said, "Just wait'll you see what he does, he'll blow you away!" And one of the guys said excitedly,
"Oh! Does he do show tunes?"

My brain is fried.
I blame it all on :Tour4: !!!!!
I had to make a chart so I could figure out where all the tickets are
and how much money I am going to have to shell out! You may not
know, but a little over 3 years ago, my hubby suggested I get a job
to pay for all my Clay "accessories." So now I am working a part-time
job and I see from my chart that I'll have to put in a few extra hours to
foot the bill for this year's "ROAD TRIP!!" (do we have a road trip smiley??)
Play - I have a few hard drives full of clack and might have what you
are looking for... if you give me specifics, I'll check. I have the entire 2nd season
on DVD, tho, so I won't be needing to d/l that!! PM me if you have questions.
{{{{{{{KAndre}}}}}}}
Re: the all wanting front row seats thing.......
I got a vision of Clay on a revolving stage with a huge ring of seats around him.
Do you realize just how large that circle of seats would have to be???
:party038:
:club0:
Is it July yet??
BTW - who all got Cary tickets??
-
ETA: OK I need help. My sister and I are doing two separate montages - one for each of her kid's classes..junior K and 2nd grade. Each one will have two songs..and we have 3 songs but can't come up with a slower to midtempo song for the 2nd grade class. The montage will just consists of lots of pictures of the class during various programs/field trips/festivals during the year. So it's kids looking cute...help me think of a song please..it's driving us crazy. Clay songs are ok too if one fits.
Couchie - the song that came immediately to mind was "I Love My Shirt" or "Happiness Runs" by Donovan. Or something from McCartney? Like maybe "Mothers Nature's Son" or "Let It Be"??
Hope this helps!!

Hey - -Wake up!!!!
Listen - I have the AI1 videos - and the AI6 Idol Extra videos - now is anyone interested or should I just stop loading them out - I thought people wanted it, but there is no activity downloading this stuff from any of the sites I post ethem out (OK, 2 people are downloading the idol extra crap. ) Which is a shame because there are a lot of interesting older idol performers.
If I post it , someone must download it. ultimatum caused by headache from reading to many board whinings.
Play - can you post all the links in one place?? Maybe start a thread in another location?
I think I have all of AI1 - but it seems like a good idea anyhow!! :F_05BL17blowkiss:
-
muski - I'll throw in another barf and raise ya one more.:kotz0:
My head hurts - I have been trying to keep all the details straight for the NC/TN 3-fer.
Too Much STUFF!!
Kimmel was funny tonight - in the "This Week of Uneccessary Censorship" - he included
Simon and Lakisha's kiss. FUNNY - I LOVE JIMMY - Can't wait til next Thursday's show.
I'll be in Houston, so I've been deleting on my DVR like crazy (of course I had to watch
all of them before deleting!), making room for all the shows that will be on while I'm gone!!
I got a big wake-up call - I watch too much television!!
(and also stay up too late... nighters!)
eta: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
my 69th post!! -
This is a long shot, but is someone here in the Houston area? I am going to be there next week, and might be able to meet on Sat the 12th if anyone is up for it!
Please PM me!
-
Been out of it for a couple of days - and it just keeps coming!! :TourExcite:
Clay and Tyra had dinner together? or did they leave after looking at the menus?
I couldn't figure it out! Did any pix show up!?!?
I miss the old AI guy. Those photos that surfaced are wonderful.
I just gotta say, Clay looked a lot better with the beard.
Main thing is, well, with his new teeth, it really filled out his face - a LOT.
The beard helps make it look - well - not so full. (I am trying to put this as
diplomaticly as I can!)
As for Jericho - I will watch it if Clay is on it - with or without clothes!!
If you're interested in catching up, you can go to cbs.com and watch full episodes.
Did you know Clay got a random mention at rickey.org yesterday?
During my naive and unwise days (has it really changed? LOL), when I rooted for Kimberly Caldwell (now a TV Guide American Idol “expert” who is still working on her first CD) and Corey Clarke (who was literally just a dick, hahaha), I thought that Kimberley would win — only to be proven dead wrong by the phenom that was Clay Aiken. (What?! He didn’t win? LOL)The blog is about Kim Locke's new album.
Thanks for all the pix!
eta: I forgot to SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE over Clay's new Kimmel appearance!
also..... when is he going to blog about something besides Jericho? Like his tour
or new album, or photo shoot of something???
wow - I can't believe the board let me add this many emoticons!!! WOOT!

HAVE TO COME BACK FOR THIS....... I was thinking something along those lines too, Couchie. Those others who were on the show IGB are mainly just singers, and I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that - but that's mainly what they do, and I'm sure that's a full-time job and takes up all their time. What I am most proud of Clay for is for not allowing that career to take up all his time so he has (and *makes*) time for these other pursuits. But what I love is that part about keeping this "job" separate from their personal lives and I'm assuming professional. These appearances aren't about Clay Aiken, pop star so chatting about tours and albums and North Carolina bbq just don't belong. No mixed messages. I'm glad Clay was not a part of IGB simply for the fact that there will be no confusion. He is no stunt. He is no Idol...despite that little Idol Ambassador under his name today. He's a man on a mission, one he has been preparing for his entire life, but on I'm sure on a much larger scale than he ever imagined. </angelwingy>He is so impressive......... reminds me of what Larry King said at the end of his interview when it ws announced that he was chosen as an Ambassador. I can't remember the exact quote but he said he was proud of him, mentioned all his acomplishments; book, album, charity work, and wondered what he did in his spare time.
I'd like to know the answer to that too!! :wink
-
wow - you all have been busy little posting beavers today! I have just swung by to drop off this blog about last night's show.
http://community.tvguide.com/blog/TV-Show-...-Idol/700140777
and to test this color to see if it matches the color on the board well enough!!

OK - nobody said anything about spoilers.........
and this isn't a big one...... so here goes.........
Ryan said "Tomorrow night will be one of the biggest shocks ever"
I think that might count Clay out... unless doing a duet with Celine would be a shock??
[/end spoiler]
That's as good as I can get!! The font color button does not work for me!!

Hey muski! How about Muski's Mental Mush?? LOL :F_05BL17blowkiss:
If you haven't seen Sanjaya sing, just go over to youtube and search his name!
Watch "Besame Mucho" first!!
Have to go clear off the DVR and make room for the Idol show and DWTS tonight!
Whether or not Clay will be on is something we will all know soon!!
QUESTION.......... do you want spoilers posted here?
LOVE THAT AIKEN GUY!!
shades of the last time on Idol...........

Just a quick fly-by........
Re the Sanjaya/Letterman......
Didn't see it but here's a video of the last 5 on the countdown.

Holy Crap!! Talk about a cat fight!! I think I agree with some peeps who think Rosie shoots her mouth off a bit too much. I used to like her, but I am not sure I still do. I agree that she doesn't deserve to get called names by Trump, but I also agree that she somewhat provoked that, and provokes a lot of the other negative buzz she has been getting.
As for AI6 - I only half-watched last night as I was interested in the Bachelor Reunion on opposite where Andy and Tessa were united and he faces off with Bevan. It's been like that all season, where there have been other shows opposite and I couldn't give AI my full attention. I would like Jordin to win, but I forgot to vote the past couple of weeks! Too busy watching DWTS after it and (something else after that... )!
Clay and Jimmy's skit last night was supreme! I hope they continue to do comedy together. Someone said they might have taped that when Clay was on in February.... I don't necessarily agree with that. Maybe two weeks ago when he had the horse?
I have posted a few screencaps and the youtube vid on my website:
CLAY CHANGES HIS LOOK
Also - as I was looking at the youtube vid, I noticed another vid which made me LOL. It's a skit performed to "Invisible"
Also for you fellow Paul McCartney fans - his video called "Dance Tonight" premiered on youtube today!!
it's cute - neat song - I have already preordered the album and received the first single "Ever Present Past."
'The official video for Paul McCartney's UK single 'Dance Tonight', taken from the album 'Memory Almost Full'. "
It's already been viewed close to 22,000 times since its release today at noon!!
