Yo, my FCA peeps!! Long time no see. This is my busy, busy, busy time of year, playing piano for various places around town, working at the hospital, and being a Mom to my two teenagers. Tuesday of this week I was in rehearsal at one school from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, ran over to another school for a rehearsal from 3:15 to 6:00, and then went back to the first school for a concert at 7:00. Eeeeep! It's fun, but verra, verra busy. YAY, Clay finally blogged! It's too bad he's in pain, but hopefully the procedure will make things better in the future. Anyway, it's good to know he's alive, and that he does think of us from time to time. And now I rilly, rilly want to know what Clay's 2009 plans are. The little shit, teasing us and then not delivering the goods! I spotted Clay and Reed right away in that dark pic. Heeee. Cool to see that they were hanging out together! I'm hoping that they will be able to stay in touch with each other while Reed is off traveling the world. I haven't been reading the other boards, so am blissfully unaware of the anger, homophobia and general angst out there. I just don't need that in my life right now. And, this is supposed to be fun, ya know? :-) So, what is everyone else doing for Valentine's day? Does anybody have a hawt date? My hubby went out of town to visit his two ill grandmothers, who are very important to him. So, I'm at home with my two daughters. The three of us are going to go out tonight, if I can get them to agree on what kind of food to eat. Right now they're arguing about whether we should get Italian or Chinese. :sport010: Sheesh! I may end up going for Italian tonight, and Chinese tomorrow. That way I have an excuse not to cook two days in a row. Heh. Oh, I can't forget this:

Whew, it was a marathon just to get caught up! I didn't realize it had been almost two days since I was last here. LOVE the banner! It does my heart good to see Clay looking soooo happy. On that topic, the 'Smile' montage gave me the ICG X 100000! And I got a huge kick out of the 87 year old woman dancing the salsa. Way to go! I wanna dance with that guy! Heeee, djs, I very much enjoyed your snark. But I'm not using no big stinkin' calculator. I already know I'm sticking around for Clay, so this is what I'm going to use instead: I'm not into football, either. I'll probably nap today, and later on go work out. The gym will likely be pretty quiet - more machines for me! Yay! I feel so much better after a good workout. Especially if I eat a whole chocolate bar at once.

georgiesmybaby - I'm sure there are safehouses in your area, where women who are victims of abuse can stay while they are trying to figure out what to do next. The locations of safehouses are secret, so this horrible man won't be able to find her. You and your Mom could likely stay there, too, if you are afraid of being at home right now. Your police detective neighbor can likely give you a phone number for a safehouse. :thbighug-1: Safe travels to all of those going to GFI! Have a super fantastic time!!!

This wp is sooooo purdy - ETA: georgiesmybaby - I'm so so very sorry to read about that horrible extortion and abuse! I can't imagine how stressful this must be. I agree with you that this situation must be brought to the attention of the police. I understand that your sister is afraid, but she can't continue as she has been, and she will need help to get out of this situation. If she's immobilized by fear, perhaps she would let you call for her, and then give the phone to her once you've given the police an overview of the situation. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Canfly, THANK YOU so much for posting those shots! They are much better quality than what we had before. Heeee, my 16 y.o. dtr. saw the pics on Facebook, and asked me if I had seen them. DUH!!! Of course I saw them before she did. She thinks that Clay and Reed are rilly, rilly cute and adorable together! I totally agree.

I do wish that Clay had been wearing something a bit hawter, and a bit less Grandpa-ish. But, he didn't ask my opinion. Reed seems to be perfectly happy being with Clay in that outfit, and he's the one that really matters. It's too cute that Clay's bow tie and Reed's tie kinda match! ETA: Cool, merrieeee!!!

I agree that it's totally up to Clay and the fans who paid so much money whether to share. It's their right. And if I had a dinner like that with Clay, and he said no sharing, I'd say, "YES, MASTER!!!!!" And I'd hope that I could then be a bit less restrained with my . . . um . . . affections.
