  1. CONGRATS to you, Liney! What a fantastic achievement! Ldyj, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. *HUGS* to you and your sister. So, I'm supposed to be in a meeting tomorrow at 10:00 Colorado time, which is right when the inauguration will be taking place. Do ya think I'll get in trouble if I ditch the meeting and find a place in the hospital to watch TV at that time instead? Heh.
  2. Woohoo, Couchie! The last few days must have been really difficult. I'm so glad to hear that your Mom is so much better!
  3. BTW, Amazon is giving away 664 songs! They are completely free. Amazon has included a huge variety of styles of music, so the likelihood of finding more than a couple of songs you want is pretty slim. But, it's a cool concept. You can listen to snippets of the song, and then can download the mp3s right from their site if you find something you like. Free mp3s from Amazon
  4. That pic was taken during the last concert of the JBT series. Clay was forever pulling pranks and jokes on Angela and Quiana, so they decided to get back at him during the last concert. He's sitting and trying to sing, and they are pulling on his nose, trying to take away his mic, etc. etc., but he gets back at them! I'll have to look for the video clack and give you a link - it's HILARIOUS. It makes me ROTFLOL!! ETA: a link to the clip on you tube. The silliness shown in the pic starts around 3:18.
  5. Yeah, was this the theme for 2008 or what? "I'm doing Spamalot on Broadway; and by the way, I'm having a baby with Jaymes; and oh yeah, I'm gay; and now that that's out of the way, have you seen how hawt my boyfriend is?" It was a lot to process, and I'm personally glad all that news kind of got parceled out in bite-sized bits - otherwise I would have had a harder time with all the changes. Wow, bottle, thanks for putting this all down so succinctly! Clay really did reveal a lot last year, didn't he? And I agree with you about the bite-sized pieces. I think the fandom might have completely imploded if all of that had been revealed at once! Hey, I think it's time for some pictures! They show how our multi-facted boyfriend can be hawt, silly, or reverent, depending on the situation. No wonder we are all still fascinated by this complex, talented and charismatic man!
  6. Oh, I noticed the hair first, too, clayzy. But later I was rather surprised about that arm! BWAH! And jmh, I feel rather superficial to be talking about the placement of an arm, after your wonderful post about the value of education! I'm so impressed by the courage and determination of those Afghani girls.
  7. Um, I just want to comment about the right arm of the guy in the bright blue polo at the bottom of the pic. Rather interesting placement of the arm, doncha think?
  8. :cryingwlaughter: :cryingwlaughter: I was so hoping that we would someday get a better pic of this hilarious hairstyle! And the look on his face - it's the the perfect "I'm soooo cool, I don't even need to smile" expression that just fits the whole look.
  9. Ooooooh, I hate all of these mistakes, too. I find them very distracting when I'm reading. Many people just don't care at all about spelling, grammar or the correct position of the apostrophe! I really enjoyed your MLK blog, Caro! It's very moving to think that Obama will be inaugurated right after we celebrate MLK day. WOOOOHOOOOO!!! CONGRATS!!! Bottle, those tall long ones are DELICIOUS!!! Aw, Muski, good luck with the pizza! I hope your mouth heals soon.
  10. Try Clack Unlimited. That link will take you directly to the page that has TITN, Inivisble, The Way, and Without You. I realize that 'Clay and me' is more grammatically correct, but 'Clay and I' somehow sounds more proper. I don't know why, though!
  11. Cool link, Scarlett! Thanks for sharing. Couchie, I'm so sorry about your Mom, and that you have to run around with her when you feel so awful. It's miserable to feel bad, but even more miserable to have to spend time in a hospital when you're sick with the crud! Hopefully the stroke team will be able to figure out why your Mom is having multiple strokes, and both of you will feel better soon. *HUGS* Muski, take one (or two!) of these, and call me in the morning if you're not feeling better - :hubbahubba:
  12. I didn't watch much of the show, but saw about the last half hour or so. I was working out, and there are TVs on the aerobic equipment that have a place to plug in your headphones. AI was the least bad show on, so I watched it! Anyway, they featured a nearly blind singer at the the very end. He is quite a musician, and has a very nice voice. Certainly not fantastic like Clay's, but he had a sweet personality. Anyway, he was put through to Hollywood. It will be interesting to see how long he will be able to stay in. The vaults have the Clay clips up now. Great to see him featured so much!
  13. Sorry you're feeling so bad, Couchie. It will get better with time, but I'm sure that's not much of a consolation right now! *HUGS* Today is my last day off for a few days, so I have a list of things to do around the house. Have I done any of them? NOOOOOO!! Instead I've been playing with my phone/pocket pc. I recently installed a new navigation program on it. Today I decided that I should spice it up with some new voices, so I got Darth Vader, Yoda, Homer Simpson, Patrick Stewart and John Cleese. They're all very entertaining! Too bad 'Clay Aiken' wasn't one of the options. I woulda LOVED having him guide me around town.
  14. Aw, that was great! So many wonderful, memorable moments from 2008. And the ending was perfect.
  15. It's too weird to see Clay on stage with someone else dressed as Sir Robin! Hmmmmm, I think I might need detention. I've been a bad student. Professor Aiken might need to teach me a lesson or two . . . heeee.
  16. Heh, justclay, I was just trying to add a little levity. But I'd seriously LOVE to have a good pic of Clay and Reed together. Twice as much to drool over! And looking at a pic like that would make me all happy for Clay, and Reed, too!
  17. Alright, I wanna see the clack!! Where de clack??? I'd love to see a pic of Clay and Reed together. Hopefully someone took one . . . I guess we'll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, here's a pic of Clay and Reed together, originally posted by pensnpaper over at RHT. It's a clickable thumbnail, because posting a pic of Reed pressed into Clay should be done with a bit of discretion. Ready? Really? Here goes . . .
  18. Caro, how cooool about people from the golfing community learning about GFI! Good work, girl! :14:
  19. I grabbed them, and I'll ask questions later. Hehe. I have them as wmvs. Would people prefer them as mp4s, for ipods? I can easily convert them. The quality of the video isn't all that great, since they're from youtube. They won't look good on a big screen. ETA: Was it yousendit that spread a virus recently? If so, I can post megaupload links, unless someone has a better idea. Edited again: They're both in the vault, which is probably a safer place to download from.
  20. What a hawt performance!!!! But, but . . . I didn't see any gongs, kazoos, triangles, or theremins in the band. They really needed FCA, didn't they?
  21. Couchie, you want info about riders??? Heh - I can certainly think of some riding that would be fun!
  22. Heh - I sing backup from the piano, but I'm not sure that I'll be able to come up with zingers when I'm already multitasking!
  23. Excellent post! It's so true. OK this cracks me up. The FCA band. duckyvee - triangle Bottlecap -cowbells ok what else we got. Gibby of course will be our conductor. Conductor? Cowbells? A theremin? Erm,, yikes! Maybe Caro should conduct, and I'll play keyboards!
